Tanki X — Ideas & Suggestions

I'm really excited for Tanki X... I don't play Tanki Online anymore because of the lag and the imbalance of the game :( I hope Tanki X will add a more "realistic" feel to a war game. Anyways, I have a couple ideas:

 

1. I liked the idea with the modified TDM (a limited number of lives would make the game more engaging, and also mults would die quickly and teams wouldn't have to worry as much about non-playing tankers). 

 

2. I think Tanki X should add the abilities of parkour mode, but in real battles. For example, it seems that Tanki X has almost endless ground after the actual arena. It'd be an interesting tactic to go through all the trees and water towers and bushes and what have you. Also, we'd be able to take full advantage of the new elements of Tanki X :) 

 

3. I want to introduce a new mode in Tanki X. I don't think it's a great idea, but the forum is a great place to be corrected and develop new ideas... Anyways, I think there should be a new mode called "Defeat the Boss" (DTB). It's kind of like all  those levels in video games, where there are a bunch of players trying to overpower a being much stronger than all of them, though can be overthrown when the team works together. The "boss" would have a number of lives that was a multiple of the players, or the overall health pool...  Something along those lines. The number multiple of lives would depend on rank (to make it fair and fun to play for all tankers). There is the possibility that the attacking team would get bored, or they would mult (which would make it boring for the solo boss). I think adding a small map in the corner of the screen of where the boss is would make the game more interesting, because the attacking team would know where the find the boss. This would hopefully motivate the attacking team to find the boss and take away his number of lives. The boss wins (in a non-pro battle) by surviving when the clock runs out. The attacking team wins by killing the boss. In pro battles, there would be a set number of lives taken, or a number of enemies killed (for the boss). This would also be played in the mode where you can go over the usual self-destruct borders. I think to make it more fair there should be an option to turn this off.

 

4. Also, I think there should be more of a lore aspect to Tanki X. Of course, I'm not one to tell Tanki devs how to make their game, but it might work in their favor (as it seems that many of the games my peers play either have a great backstory (not like Tanki) or have very fun, engaging gameplay (exactly like Tanki).

 

Those are just a couple of my ideas that might be interesting to try out :) Of course, feedback is more useful that compliments, so if  you have a suggestion (or are an internet troll), feel free to reply to me :P

Account rebalancing - transefer account but refund and reset garages- for first 3 days 50% off on turrets hulls and paints

50% might be too much, probably something between 30-40%

I like your idea... Unfortunately, Unity is a totally different gaming engine from Flash. Literally nothing in common. Thus, the only way to successfully "transfer" everyone's account would be to make a new account with their name, rank, and garage. Due to the many tankers in the game... This is well nigh impossible. I highly doubt that there will be account transfer at all, sadly. But, I bet there will be many goodies for us since there will be no account transfer  :lol:

Actually there is no technical problem at all to do that.

You confuse the client side (flash or unity) with a database held on some central server(s) that contains all players data and garage.

The reasons for them to not transfer accounts from the old to the new game, have nothing to do with the game engine technology.

Feature request:

This would help clan leaders soooooooooo much:

 

please introduce the possibility to display a time-of-day and time-in-utc somewhere..

- maybe in the battle overview table

- or otional in the lower center on the in-battle screen

 

like

Stuff that NEEDS putting in:

-Account Transfer

 

Ideas that are COOL:

-Different weather effects

-New Game mode

-ALOT more maps

-New supplies

-Secret places / hidden stuff in the new maps

-Few more ranks???

- 3/ 4 different teams in  TDM games

Getting rid of all the unplayed maps after a while and replacing them with something new. If they aren't being played, then there's no point in actually keeping them.

they should also have an rpg powerup. where the tank turret itself is a rocket launcher. but it only lasts for a little cuz it would be op.  :P

What's the point though? Just use your own turret. Besides, we already have Double Damage.

hey guys. dr who fans are called whoovians, star trek fans are known as trekkies. but the question is.... what are tanki fans called? I think we should be called tankies.  :D  :P

I play on almost every map ( even alone sometimes ) just to explore the map without having to bother about anyone trying to kill me. Therefore pls keep every map

I don't care about account transfer. But at least giving us the crystals out garage is worth would be nice

Alot of people care about the transfer, mainly because of all the time we have spent on these ancient accounts :D

 

I really don't know how it could be done but Tanki needs to find a way of account transfer. It is essential.

3 round burst, 0.1 seconds between each peojectile. 4.5 second reload.

 

Does 66-76 damage per bullet at stock m3.

 

up to 228 damage per clip.

 

4.5 second reload.

 

Medium impact force.

 

Long range.

Plz help edit this to make it balanced
