Tanki X — Ideas & Suggestions

until then i can propose a new hull: the Tyrant

 

the idea behind this hull is to ...replace... curent hunters position as a breakthru tank and if it gets intraduced keep in mind that hunter should be moved to light hulls  (witch i already look at him as more then a light one) witch would also resoult to numbers of light-medium-heavy hulls being a nice 3:3:3

 

so decent armor decent speed enough to be a frontliner, but! it would look like an IS-3 somwhat so the point where turret is attached to the tank would be at a wary front of a hull and that hull would be long ish ( and not wery wide )----adding the reasoning to it is becusse its front armor is shaped as a ..pike.. (easier to imagine if you see the picture) so it takes 50 percent less damige from the front!

 

the reasoning to that unique protection we need to go back to its role- a BREAKTRUH tank when it advances its really hard to kill from the front witch is perfect caracteristic for that role

but if unsuported it can be easaily flanked and get shot at from its not-so-protected sides resoulting in a death

Try to come up with armor and speed values for your tank. Then the discussion makes more sense.

Up to now they never mentioned different armour for different sides of a tank. I also don't know if this would suite the maps of tanki online.. the defenders spread out by the whole witdh of a base.. and attackers are usually shot from from and sides all the time.

 

A weak back side would make your intention work maybe.

even if defenders spread out you still can protect urself from some damige

your talk about armor values missed the point no tank in tanki online has armor values i was talking about lets say diferent kind of armor on the front not the one that rest of the hulls are made off

 

i think it wouldnt be hard to kill it in current maps at least from my perspective becuse i already get killed by peeps shooting my sides like 70 percent of the time

 

for stats it would be fast or litle slower then hunter to maintain its breakthru role the health would be hornet like so basicly if you put your front in enemies face you are stronger then viking but if you dont you are pretty mutch sitting duck becuse you dont have the wspeed of other hulls witch would have same health as you at if your front is not facing them

 

also if you think about it the fact that the hull is slover means that it would be harder to turn and becuse its long it would be easier to knock of the aim becuse of the angular momentum

 

oh and who dosent want to see its enemies fleeing when they see the ..pike.. front

Talk about armor (in Tanki also known as Protection, Hitpoints, Health, ..) makes sense.

so it is like:
- Speed like Viking
- Hitpoints like Hornet
- Front damage 50% reduced
 
thanks, that's what I asekd for.

 

I played a few medium sized maps the last days, and I have to say that tanks are really shot a lot from the sides.

So if your idea should make sense, you should do somethng about the sides as well (this is waht I talked about, as I said "weak back side" - if the front and the sides are stronger, then only the backside is weak)

 

Maybe you try

- front: damage -50%

- sides: damage -25%

- back: damage +0% (ev +25% ?)

 

This would be a breakthrough tank; if combined with a slow turning speed (little slower then Viking maybe) it would be hard to put it's front to the enemy in close-combat situations (this should be it's weakness I guess..)

IN tanki x there should be crystal boxes atleast becuz in this tanki there are no more which many want them back so just  add them to tanki x

ideas for Tanki X :

1- Play by 3 groups (Red - Blue - Green) . . .

2- More Maps . . .

3- Spectator mode for all players. . .

4- More Missions . . . (kill by using torret / Hull . . .)

5-  Arabic virsion of the game  . . . or Arabic chat . . . or Arabic server (AR1 , AR2 , AR3 ...)

if it were to have strong sides it would make a great breakthru tank and a great brawler becuse they show off sides a lot

 

but im not sure if it would make it too over powered becuse sides are easey to hit but back isnt maybe it could be balanced by no protection on the turret so if you arer calm you can defeat this tank easaily

 

my warries on 25 percent protected sides  is that hulls like hornet and wasp would take too mutch damige  if they cant kill the hull quick enough

so i think side armor shouldnt be implemented the hull would simply become too op and it wouldnt require skill to play and we really dont want somthing like object 279 in the game being a medium tank fast fortress (on the other hand if you need to show only front its difficult task)

 

(btv spearhead tactics would be more commen)

Ideas  and things i would like to see in TANKI X

1. make the battle type choosing option in form of big tile on main menu

2. add more battle modes like
   
 hardcore match without drugs and with friendly fire on (more xp or cry  gain in this match)

   defend the point

   tanki soccerin this the turrents dont do any damage but their firing will be used to shoot and pass the ball 

short range weapons like isida , firebird and freeze will have more control on ball and long range weapons like railgun and shaft can shoot ball further but less accuracy

 

  defend the point- just like the one this new year

  and at last weekly maps like "mine maze"

3. first kill bonus in game and final blow bonus at the end of game.

4. and different turrents with different achivements - like double kill for shaft and railgun,

   and they should be given every match not just once 

5. combine critical hit animation of current smoky with one in tanki x

6. domination points and revenge points

7.achievements for killing same type of turret or hull everytime without killing other.

8.  holiday easter eggs like semyon dropping goldbox from his santa sledge animation  on christmas.

and..very rare goldbox  with higher value with different notification sound like that of trex or sabertooth on particular type of map every week.

 

9. also provide maps where shooting buildings breaks them .

We need a new hull . Another light hull would be nice  .Vulcan in my opinion should have more draw backs . They make non format battles less fun , annoying & if they're a drugger with a mammoth kiss game balance ass goodbye . 

 

XTs ? what is the since ? just the appearance ?  aint worth 500k crys unless your another spoil no lifer kid with your mom's credit card . 

 

I thought there was to be a new Supply type ??? 

I thought all maps were surpose to have night mod ( they're unpopular ofc we no , but that dont mean u gota push it aside ) 

 

Be honest with us if your acc gona be in unity or not . No hate , we rather no the truth that be lied to

^I share many of your comments, and want to add my perspective on the priority of things at the moment:

 

 

I think their initial focus is to get the thing running and ready for an open testing.

Once this is done, they will have enough work with all faults and issues and tweaks, that arise because of the open testing.

Then they will think about new features.

 

The only reason to pull new features to an earlier stage, is if they would be absolute unique things, that would boost the game much more, then an other hull, a better GUI/HUD or some balance tweaking could do. Personalisation of your tank could be such a thing.

 

and regarding account transfer.. after I thought a lot about it, I have no hope on this one ;)

Sure an honest statement would be awesome.. but it would maybe kill the share of tankis real money income, that is used to build up equipment (eithter directly or drug sales, when drugs are used to steeal battle funds).

 

as written.. this is my view. If any official, really informed person would state some valid news, it is highly welcome.

I think that players should be able to sell our stuff. Player could either get the amount  of crystals that they bought their items such as paints, hulls turrets, for the amount we bought the items for, or less to make it fair.

Woah there buddy,that's kinda underkill.You need to think bigger,badder, and better than this.

Like a paint that pulls the highest amount of protections all your paints you have and put them into one paint. Like pulling Tundra's protection and Dirty's protection and put them into one paint.

 

There should be polygon cp. More chances of gold box dropping. Bring back 10 crystal boxes. Rain, snow, lightning storms, tornadoes. Maybe im just too much

Yeah, I will be kind of sad to see cps go away in Tanki X.

Transfer accounts with refunding all the modifications, and by that, I mean ALL of it. You get a new tank with same rank, but all things M0, all supplies 0, instead you get their crystals. Would be useful if someone messed up their account in TO and wants to fix in TX (Which I did :D :D )

Hi, Ive played tanki for years now. I was thrilled to learn they were making a new Tanki, but then i learned they might not transfer accounts, which terrified me, but more on that later. Here are some ideas on how to improve Tanki. Some will help the players, some will help tanki, and some will help both. I didnt create all of them, some ive seen suggested by other members, but i felt they were good enough to be re-shared. These arent organized by importance, except for the first one, which is by far the most important.

1) The transfer of Flash accounts to Unity

 Everybody on the flash version of tanki has devoted countless hours to the game. If accounts dont transfer, all of this time would have been for nothing. What about the buyers who spent their money on this game. Im sure when they bought crystals, they were expecting it to be a long term investment. What about the high ranked people. They have played on here for so long, and now they may lose their rank if they want to play on the improved version? Also what happens to esports, like the top levels of star series if accounts dont transfer?  What about the clans, beside the star series clans? If accounts dont transfer, they will have to start all over. Tanki could thank their dedicated tankers who have given their time, and for some their money, to the game by transferring their accounts over to the new tanki. The excuse for not doing so is the economy, meaning tanki thinks they will make more money by not transferring accounts, but I believe there are ways to make up for this loss(which I will get to later on) and I also believe that if the accounts dont transfer, many high ranked players will not continue on with tanki.

2) Advertisements on the forum

The logic for not transferring accounts is it will improve economy by making high ranked players have to start over and, what they hope, for them to buy again.  However, this will be away to earn money for tanki while rewarding current players with account transfers. Most websites have adds on them, and they dont ruin the website for people. Just add some adds to the side or bottom of the page and tanki makes more money. This money earned could let the tankers transfer accounts to the new tanki. The advertisements will be a long term solution for financing tanki. I also promise that all of these suggestions will not be about account transferring and advertisements.

3) advertisements in game

This is also in hopes of letting accounts transfer. On the billboards that are on the map, instead of just putting a tanki logo, there can be an advertisement. When its a holiday, such as iron days or tankers day, the add spots can be more valuable so tanki can charge more for those days. Another place for adds on maps could be on the walls, be it the wall or roof of a building or the barrier of a map. Im not saying cover every part of the map in an add, but 1 or 2 on the wall wont damage the view and it will also let tanki earn money so accounts can transfer over to Unity. Another good idea for advertisements is advertisement on paints. Heres how this can work. Players on unity will want new paints. Tanki can create a paint that has the advertising company's logo on it. This can work like the holiday paint in that the logo switches whenever the company who is paying switches. There can be different paints with different level of protections and weapons protected from, as well as unlocked at different ranks, that way advertisement paints will be seen in battles with warrant officers and field marshalls.

4) advertisements on game load screens

When you select a battle to join, or are waiting for the garage to load, you see a screen with hints. These hints came in handy when i was new, but after seeing all of them countless times, they dont help. Instead of these hints, tanki could put adds on these load screens. If tanki feels the hints are necessary for the new tankers, this can be implemented once a player reaches a certain rank. This way the new tankers get the hints and the higher ranked tankers can experience the benefit of a account transfers.

5) commercials for crystals

This is another idea for tanki to implement advertisements. There can be a section where a tanker goes. If they watch 5 commercials in a day, they get rewarded crystals. This can also be added to the missions where one of the tasks can be "watch 5 commercials, earn 10 mines". As ive said before, this will allow tanki to earn more money, which could let tanki transfer accounts to the unity version.

6) Improved battle invites

So when a person is invited to a battle they can have 20 seconds to accept, if they dont accept, the person who sent it can see "this person failed to respond" rather than "refused to join the battle at your invitation"

Also, allow short messages to be sent with an invitation. This way the person doing the inviting can let the person who they are inviting know why they are wanted, whether it be for a rank up, a gold box is falling, or they just need help in a battle.

7) more turrets/hulls/paints in unity

New turrets, hulls, and paints will improve the game economy, by my estimates. As previously mentioned, the paints that had advertisements can be for sale as well

8) new formats for pro battles

A popular game mode is fire wasp, but that doesn't have a format like xp and bp do. This leads to tankers having to do a private battle, or leave it public and leave the risk that somebody joins and messes it up. A formatted fire wasp battle could be called bf(b since wasp is bp, f since its fire) and would prevent this. 

9) an option for pro battles allowing a wider range of ranks to play

I think that somebody making a pro battle should be allowed to have a battle ranging from gissmo to warrant officer 1(idk, just an idea). Maybe they have a long lost friend get on, but they cant play together since the ranks are too far apart. Or maybe the low rank person wants to see what an m3 looks like when fully micro upgraded.

10) more battle styles

I think there should be at least 5, DM, TDM, CTF, CP and bring back assault, but this time have it available on more maps. Ive seen people suggest an elimination mode, which would be a good idea. maybe there could be a Teams DM, or Tsdm(or something better) where on, for example iran, you can divide into 5 teams of 4 and whichever team has the most kills wins.

11) new maps

I dont think anybody would be upset if there were more maps available. I think it would be cool if there was a map called moscow with basil's cathedral either in the map itself or in the background. Or a map called San Francisco with either the Golden Gate Bridge in the background, or part of the map itself. Or maybe there could be one called Sydney, where you drive on the Sydney Opera House

12)Larger private messages

This way on the forum you can have large discussions with your friends privately

13) new daily mission tasks

there are missions to earn ____ xp on a map, well there could be one to earn ____ xp with a certain turret in your garage

14) bringing back spectator mode

This way, players can witness clan wars, 1 v 1s and etc

15) bring back the down vote on the forum

im aware there was much debate over this, but i feel the downvote was important because it let you express disapproval without taking up space with a response

16)Bring back crystal drop boxes

Personally, i loved the crystal boxes. there can be an option in pro battles where you can turn it on or off, like with the gold boxes

17) custom paints

I think there should be a paint available to buy, for idk 5000 crystals that comes with no protection for anything, but it allows the tanker to upload a design to the tank. Im sure this would be complicated and would open up potential for inappropriate images, so each paint would have to be approved by a moderator before it can be used in a battle.

This would allow clans to have custom paints and allow your average tanker to better express themselves.\

18) new supplies

maybe there could be a glue bomb, and if a tank runs over it, the tank loses half its speed for 30 seconds.

19) limits on drugs in regular battles

many tankers hate it when one player carries his team because he uses constant drugs. Maybe there could be a continuation of the cooldown system, but it carries over when the tank dies.

20) list of moderators online

this way a tanker n need can see who is available to help him and send them a message

well, thank you for taking the time to read it. I dont know how easily some of this would be to implement, but i think all of it would make the game better for everybody. Tanki, please implement all of it, but if only one was to get done, please transfer our accounts to Unity. Fellow tankers, please like this, and who knows, maybe if we get enough, tanki will consider it.

I believe no. Thats gonna be a different platform. Plus new mechanisms etc. And its good to start a new game as new. Suppose if you are gissimo and tankiX controls are different, you will look as you are multing. It's a good idea that we won't be able to transfer. My opinion..

If this was possable, players would probably create helper paints, Godmode_ON's paint, etc, that would not be good.

They could be having alot of upgrades so they are literally invincible.

I agree with this, but, someone could of lost their account, and they needed hints again to remember.

If possable, the system could be abused. Tankers could watch it over and over again, (loop) and get rewards unfairly.

If you are thinking of staff checking the system for abuse, it would be hours, days, months, years, etc.

That would make Tanki Online have to spend more time.

TO would make it OP/OB.

X is the first letter in Russian for Hornet. P is the first letter for Railgun. B is the first letter for Wasp in Russian.

O is the first letter for Firebird in Russian.

I think that somebody making a pro battle should be allowed to have a battle ranging from gissmo to warrant officer 1(idk, just an idea). That would be unfair, a Generilissimo joins a battle with Warrant Officers, the Gissmo gets to distroy them all with 1 shot. 

Unfair.

Developers can make battles to any rank possable. AKA All rank battles.

Lets say, someone got hacked, hacker got a mission with a turret they bought.

Tanki Online Help returned the crystals, and account and deleted the turret and refunded the cystals, and he still has the mission, he hardly earns exp, and hardly earns crys, how would he complete it? What if he promised never to change a mission?

 

 

14) bringing back spectator mode

Players already have this. Famous ones usally do.

It is kinda rude to dislike others posts, you can just tell them in the comments though.

Crystal boxes were taken and added to battle funds.

This would not be approved, there would me millions of players, and a small amount of moderators to approve.

This would not be accepted, it would take along time for devs to attatch it.

There is a cooldown system already.

Sometimes, moderators are monitoring servers, or do not want to get messages.

Multiple ideas (20 to be exact). Not sure why you chose to crap all over every single one of em. Using Ads is a very possible and most likely effective way to allow exchange of accounts to Unity, which really needs to be a thing. There are players in my clan that do not play often, but get on for wars, and if accs dont transfer, those players will not be able to participate in wars. Honestly, most of these ideas are quality. Some have been previously asked for and rejected, but others, such as an improved invite system or bringing back downvotes, should be strongly considered.
