C'mon Man!

There are paints that provide up to 50% protection...and still you can get wrecked by the same turret against which it provides you protection....

While premium paint provides only 15%....15% is just NOTHING, man.....is it?

Honestly they could've done better than 0- I mean 15% protection. It's nothing really compared to 50%.

Sure even with a 50% paint against say... Firebird. You might still get killed a few times by a Firebird. The paints aren't meant to make you INVINCIBLE, but harder to destroy. But still, 15% is garbage. If I were to get Premium, I wouldn't even bother screwing around with the paint.

You mean if you couldn't turn your turrets properly. I haven't seen anyone doing that yet... but some turrets don't really need much aiming like Twins or Vulcan.

In higher ranks, every tom,dick and harry uses drugs in Polygon CP. If they start abusing them, I will step up and give them a good fight too. I like druggers in my team more than non-druggers in my team during a drug war.

 

Drugs actually provide a equal footing when you are fighting alone against 4-5 enemies when your own team does nothing to win the game. Like a one tanker army.

Nope. 20% is still trash. If people were complaining that it was going to be OP, something's wrong with them.

To be honest, if you've got a perk such as a paint with a membership; actually make it WORTH something. Give it 40% protection at least.

You know how many people I've seen running about with the Premium paint? Not even 10. It's garbage.

I'm not saying give buyers such a HUGE advantage, even with the 50% exp and crystals... that's still not worthwhile. It's worth it! But it doesn't make me go "WOW!" All I'm saying is if you want people to buy the product, give it an extra buff.

Hi.  I've been playing Tanki about six, seven weeks now.  And I've developed... well... a habit.

 

I'm a "user."  You know.  Power-ups, Extra armor.  Repair kit.

 

Supplies.

 

If you want to use that other word... that word of disdain, dislike... go right ahead.  Spit that little epithet out as many times as you like.  I'm going to avoid it.

 

I've bought things in this game.  I've used real $$$$.  PayPal.  And I want to be clear... really clear... about something.

 

I'm.  Not.  Sorry.

 

We can talk about, oh, the economics of game development, growth, maintenance.  We can talk about why I have a Paypal account, and you don't.  Maybe because, well, your parents don't want you to have that just yet.  Tough noogies.  I wanted a new Camaro for my 18th birthday--I got a used Pontiac.  Way of the world.

 

How much $$$$ have I spent on this game?  As much as I think is reasonable for me and my budget.  It's probably a little more, or a little less, than you've spent on beer... cigarettes... movie tickets... iTunes... your Xbox or Playstation games.

 

Fact is, I used to play this other tank game on my phone called "Iron Force."  It sucked.  I mean, really sucked.  Imagine you and a few other tankers, corporals and sergeants, go into a battle and there are two or three 5-star generals driving M4 XT rigs.  And you're just ducks on the pond.  That's "Iron Force."  Oh, and your turret is fixed... you can't move it.

 

So, one of the reasons I have given some $$$ to the Tanki folks, bought some of their product, is because (radical notion, kids, hang on)... I like what they do.  Same reason you order Pizza Hut instead of Domino's (or vice versa).

 

Some of you, I've had on my friends list.  If you get me into a team game, I'll bust my hump for your and the team.  I'll hold the points, I'll block your back when you're carrying the flag, and carry the flag the rest of the way if you're taken out.  And I'll occasionally use my supplies to do these things.

 

If it's a DM game... you're hamburger.  Toast.  Every chance I get.  And I'll occasionally use my supplies to do these things.

 

So... if you're reading this, and you've bought things, too.  If you use supplies when you play.  If you're getting tired of the whiney comments, the sneers, all that stuff.... go ahead and post.  Sound off!

 

Purchasing and using supplies, upgrades etc. in this game is not illegal.  It's not against the rules.  It's not a crime.

 

If you ask me questions, I'll answer them.  If you give me grief in the middle of a battle, I'll give it right back.

I don't mind when people use power-ups a few times in the battle if it's crucial but when you're winning 8-1 and you're using these power-ups every time you go for the flag in CTF then it gets a little irritating.

Agnostick certainly has his own opinion and is entitled to it, just like everyone else. I Don't agree with him about supplies. They are hurtful and cause a world of grief and, just like everyone else who seems to use them  like they breathe air, he had to go right to the inflated egotism and puffed out chest. I see it and feel it in almost every battle. I agree that he had really written a good piece until he put his cause on. Heard it before. Not impressed.

Because they think that drugs are OP, unfair, waste of crystals and shouldn't be used/spam. Most people don't like being dragged into drug wars nor afford it. People want to save for equipment and other things like MU and paints, instead of drugs. It's rewarding if you win,through... If you lose, you only get half or lower than the reward at the end.

 

...I agree on the adrenaline pumping part through. It keeps you going.

 

[P.S. This is a war game afterall...It's just silly if you don't give yourself/your team a chance to win. Honestly.]

That, even though this is only a game (not like real war at all), concepts such as fair play, honesty and such have no place here if the choice is that brief moment of drugged euphoria? So, tell me, the other team that gets rolled over in these drug fests (I have been on the receiving end almost constantly)' how should they feel about their game, their time in, crystals they can't earn because of your " adrenaline rush ". This game should be called "Rabid Tanker".

The mindset of the drugged is selfish, self serving, egotistical and abusive. To knows exactly what they created here and it will definitely be their downfall since they choose not to balance you "warriors" out. Just remember that the way you act here is a deeper reflection of who you really are. Have a nice day.

Yep, winning is the ultimate goal in this game, IN this STAGE actually. A while back, you could lose and still make some money. Now, that's no longer in place so there's really no option. Well, you can go play PRO battles and you'll be free of druggers and any other 'unfair' factors. Call me what you like, I don't exactly give a damn.

 

I'll treat you like the rest who try to talk against something that's put in the game for US to use to OUR liking. I honestly feel good after winning a full-blown drug war, even if I lose! It's a freaking game, deal with it. There's that old saying, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em". Still got time to consider that, unless you wanna continue digging a grave for yourself. I honestly don't care, I'll just keep beating on players like you until you get the concept.

 

I'm not sure how drugging turns out to be "selfish" and self serving" when it doesn't just help you. It helps the team, Einstein. And honestly, drugging has been balanced out. It was much worse 2 years ago; being able to active all 3 power-ups with no cool down times over and over again. Apparently you are not capable of controlling your emotions long enough to have a discussion. Not a surprise.Your choice is to go right to a rant.Good for you. You can choose to treat me anyway you want it won't affect me in the slightest. Let's look at your reply. The fact that you dont give a damn is obvious, although most people who take the time to point that out, really do give a damn.

The whole point of the conversation is about the imbalance caused by ,as you put it, "Something that's put in the game for us to be used as we like." See here's the line that appears. The issue is not whether you can use what you want, in every town large and small in the world you will find drugs, illegal guns, gambling, prostitution and so on. The dealers of these items put them there for you to use. Does that mean everyone should? The real issue is that players who don't drug are losing big time. This is about awareness of an unfair issue. You can talk all night about what they put in the game but, people need to think about the effects of their actions if it is to stay a game. You did call it a game right? As far  back as I can remember, games were supposed to be fun. It's not fun losing 10 to 0 soley because of drugs.

Next..."if you can't beat them join them" is a total defeatist attitude and shows a lack of self motivation and personal thinking. Why would I ever consider being part of a group that only achieves self worth through over enhancement and abuse? I never would. I have a sense of fair play and sportsmanship, oh yeah, and a conscience.

Next... When I wrote my reply I had never heard of you and have no image of you one way or the other, you are the one who identified yourself by reciting your actions. So, take a moment before you start accusing people of things that aren't said.Those words were yours and apparently, the way you went off you feel a need to defend yourself. 

I can say this with full knowing and honesty, If you are a drugger then you are very easy to read. Instead of a fair and balanced battle where rewards are earned, you prefer to steal and cheat your way through, and yet, you honestly believe your motives are pure because you say you are helping the team? Enemy team was drugging like mad at last 10 mins, are you saying my team members should just let them win and bulldoze us over?! Wow, I didn't know we are a charity! We should help the poor gain crystals!

 

 

 

....Nope.

Of course we bite back. It's them earning or us since the match is very close. (I could have run but a few of my team members were trying so hard to win and I decided to help out. It would not be fair to them.)

Some people just don't get it. If they want to get a fair fight, they can go PRO and XP/BP there & NS battles.

 

I usually fight Supply battles very hard when a few are trying hard during a war. If not I leave. The feeling is really good when I lose or win.

 

At least I know I tried.

You don't seem to get it. For limited and low income players these options are ridiculous. We don't have the drugs to "bite back", so the answer you gave is out of context. Usually large numbers leave losing cry and wasting the time they've put in. Just like your friend you gave thumbs up to, your truer feelings come out in your words. If we want a fair fight? If?? That's what this whole controversy is about and you just slammed it. Nice.

The druggers and buyers all have the same answers as you do. This only goes to show the callous indifference that is practiced here. I have never had 5000 cry in my account and only own one tank, so please don't tell people without means how it should be done.For the record?,due to the current situation, my battles are all about trying and helping ,without enhancements.
