Trophy Battle Map

Hi. I have a brilliant idea on a new type of battle in addition to the existing battle types, such as Deathmatch (DM), Team Deathmatch (TDM), Capture The Flag (CTF) and Control Point (CP).

The new type of battle is called "Trophy Battle Map" (TBM).

This kind of battle requires at least 10 places available, to a maximum of 20 places available. When players create the "Trophy Battle Map" battle, it can be between 10 to 20 places  for the number of free spaces available, empty places for players to join. Just like in the current battles, players can join or leave the battle.

The "Trophy Battle Map" is similar to the Deathmatch (DM) and Team Deathmatch battle, except that there is no score cap, and the top three players earn a trophy.

 

On this type of battle you can play on your own in a Deathmatch (DM) or with a team Team Deathmatch (TDM). Note: With this kind of battle you cannot play on Capture The Flag (CTF) or Control Point (CP).

 

The 1st Place player earns half of his currently earned battle crystal reward.

The 2nd Place player earns half of his currently earned battle crystal reward.

The 3rd Place player earns half of his currently earned battle crystal reward.

For example:

The above table is just an example of what I expect the top 3 players to earn, depending on the amount of crystals they have made in the (TBM) battle.

Note: This type of battle has nothing to do with Tournaments. The "Trophy Battle Map" (TBM) is like the Deathmatch (DM) and Team Deathmatch (TDM).

 

Players that have earned a bronze trophy on a map, when they kill an ememy (on the same map) they earn 25 crystals instead of the usual 10.

 

Players that have earned a silver trophy on a map, when they kill an ememy (on the same map) they earn 50 crystals instead of the usual 10.

 

Players that have earned a gold trophy on a map, when they kill an ememy (on the same map) they earn 100 crystals instead of the usual 10.

 

Note: That if a player earns a silver on a map where he has a bronze trophy, the bronze trophy overwrites the lower placement trophy. Same with bronze and silver trophy, if you earn a gold trophy on top of the bronze or silver, it overwrites (replaces) it with the gold trophy.

 

When you play a car racing game, you earn a trophy for one of the top 3 places. The same thing needs to be added on Tanki Online. This update shall really make players more interested in playing Tanki Online.

 

This update has nothing to do with Premium Accounts and must be available to players of any ranks. Players do not need Premium Accounts for this type of battle, nor Pro Battle Pass.

I really like this idea, it could be part of the new "Achivements and statistics of players" system as you can see below:

  • Maps' Master 1 - Get a Bronze Trophy in all Maps
  • Maps' Master 2 - Get a Silver Trophy in all Maps
  • Maps' Master 3 - Get a Gold Trophy in all Maps

 

 

Another thing regarding your suggestion is the following one - if you are speaking about crystals' rewards:

RANDOM MAP
  • Kill normal player - x crystals to the fund
  • Kill a bronze player  - x + bronze bonus crystals to the fund
  • Kill a silver player - x + silver bonus crystals to the fund
  • Kill a gold player - x + gold bonus crystals to the fund

"X" is the normal value of crystals added to the battle fund when a tanker is killed, "bonus" is the amount of crystals you get related to that user's trophy - this means that, when you kill a normal tanker that has no trophies for that "random map", you will get standard amount of crystals into the battle fund, but if you kill, for example, a tanker that has a silver trophy for that "random map", you will get the standard amount of crystals and the "silver bonus" into the battle fund.

This will affect all players' final reward since the fund might be higher than normal.

 

Another thing regarding your suggestion is the following one - if you are speaking about EXP's rewards:

RANDOM MAP

  • Kill normal player - 10 EXP
  • Kill a bronze player  - 10 EXP + bronze bonus EXP (2 EXP) = 12 EXP
  • Kill a silver player - 10 EXP + silver bonus EXP (5 EXP) = 15 EXP
  • Kill a gold player - 10 EXP + gold bonus EXP (10 EXP) = 20 EXP

"10 EXP" is the normal amount of EXP added to your experience bar when you kill a tanker, "bonus EXP" is the amount of EXP you get related to that user's trophy - this means that, when you kill a normal tanker that has no trophies for that "random map", you will get standard amount of EXP (10 EXP), but if you kill, for example, a tanker that has a silver trophy for that "random map", you will get the standard amount of EXP (10 EXP) and the "silver bonus EXP" into your experience bar (10 EXP + 5 EXP = 15 EXP total).

This will affect your personal experience bar only.

Well, yes, when the player receives the trophy, the trophy icon is displayed at the bottom left of the map. If the player plays again on the same map, for example, that has a bronze trophy already awarded, if the player receives a silver trophy, that trophy will replace the bronze trophy. The same thing for the gold trophy. The gold trophy shall replace the bronze and silver trophy that the player earned on that map.

 

To keep a trophy for a battle you won, there needs to be a permanent high score record with all the names of the players that completed the current round within that battle. The top 3 places in the high score records have an icon of the trophy plus (you the player) for example RIDDLER_8 highlighted.

Killing a player that has already a trophy does have impact on the amount of crystals you earn. That is a brilliant idea.

 

Kill a normal player (player with no trophy) = 10 crystals & 10 XP

 

Kill a bronze player = 25 crystals & 25 XP

 

Kill a silver player = 50 crystals & 50 XP

 

Kill a gold player = 100 crystals & 100 XP

 

In addition to this, there should be a bronze, silver and gold paint that the player unlocks on the garage when, for example, the player earns a bronze trophy on a map by finishing 3rd.
