Page updated :)

We've added the most used BBCodes and those which may be harder to use. We decided to leave out all the BBCodes related to "Tables formatting" since those are complex to explain in few lines.

P.S. For all those waiting Wiki-updates about the recent changes, we've almost done them all. Few more hours and they'll be all finished (whole Patch #430 + Holiday stuff)  B)

Issho, I think you should add 'font' too.

It's like this:

[font=FONT NAME]Text here.[/font]

little note:

As noticed, the striker page features a definition of [Range of max damage], while the rockets do not decrease in damage over range and just explode when they've reached [range].

Explanations by Hazel can be found there http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=344859&page=7&do=findComment&comment=5930135

Thanks for the great work and merry xMas :)

This paint was available in the shop as part of a special Christmas package during the 2016 Christmas celebrations

http://en.tankiwiki.com/Spangles

Here, why is there a 'was', isn't it currently available too? :o

It is, but when I published the changes I added the note for when that paint will no longer be in the Garage :)

Removed for now.

Sorry sre, but there are many different fonts to be used, so it is easier for an user to just view it directly in the "New Post" area :)

Sorry, but those are official data given by Devs, so it is up to them to add or remove certain parameters or define how a certain parameter is set :)

We have no "decisional" power over which parameters exist or should be published and how.

Thank you for the former! :)

No probs Issho, it's okay, anyway using fonts using HTML code is a big headache since you need to mix 3 fonts in order to produce one. So, it's okay. :D

The parameter in the table and the value are perfectly fine;

it's only the definition above that does not fit the turrets behaviour.

Range of max damage (m) — The distance at which the turret deals its full damage. If the distance is greater than the max damage range, the damage constantly decreases until a tank passes the minimum damage range.

This turret does not feature that the "damage is constantly decreased until.. ", and it has no "minimum damage range" at all.

Ah, got it!

Yes, we already planned to re-work some of those definitions, shall be done today or after we finish eating our candy canes

Heavy Tanks - How to Choose, How to Use --- This page needs an update as Dictator is not a heavy hull, and Titan and Mammoth both offer the same HP now. The other guides in that area needs a bit of change too.

They're on my to-do list, and will be edited before January is out at the very latest. I've been planning to get to these for a while, but I've admittedly been busy with a number of other items for quite some time.

The Isida M2 alteration talks about a +4 Sec. Energy capacity. Am I right, when I assume that the energy amount then has +400 Energy (1000 + 400 = 1400) and it does not take 4 seconds longer to consume it (it's only 3.6 seconds then, because of 1400 / 111 = 12.61 sec.). If it would be a + 4 seconds longer consumption time (9.01 + 4 = 13.01), then the total Energy amount would be 1444 (13.01 * 111 = 1444). So it would be less ambiguous if you can rephrase or attach an explanation that it is not +4 sec. Energy capacity, but a +400 Energy Amount, as the Energy Amount parameter is not measured in seconds.

Usually all turrets have 1000 energy, and the consumption per shot/tick/second.. defines how long you can use it.

Like the normal isida has 1000 energy and consumes 111 per second, so you can use it for 9seconds.

(Or Thunder/Rail/Smoky/Twins.. uses all 1000 per shot, and you can shot only 1 shell at a time)

The alternation:

useable for 9+4=13 seconds; so 1000Energy/13sec = 76.9 E/sec

:D That's a third way of understanding it  :)

The thing is that they talked about an energy increase so it must be >1000. If it was like you described it, it is only a disadvantage. In the wiki this entry is marked as an advantage tho.

no, it's an advantage, as the turret can fire/heal/.. longer.

Unlike in real world, consumption/tick is not linked to damage/tick. It is not some kind of fuel that you burn, and the more you burn/tick the more damage you deal/tick. Here consumption/tick and damage/tick are completely independent from each other. Energy in this context is just the "ability to shoot", that gets used up and has to be reloaded. If (energy > min_energy_per_shot) then fire:=possible  (think of a Rico). Nothing more.

So if a firebird comsumes 200 units/sec, the blast time is 5sec (1000/200 = 5sec). And they can set the damage/sec completely independet of that. But when you used up the energy bar, you have to wait for a reload.

It's the same for freeze and Isida: when they changed the max duration of the blast in the past a couple of times, they never adapted the energy storage of 1000 units. They always just changed the the consumption.

omg my post is remvd.. lol...well fine.. i got my anws issho :-P   :P  :P

You should read others' posts better — I said that certain info were removed from the Product Kits' page due to the new OFFICIAL format, not based on my decision or any of the editors' decision.

So, please avoid misleading users by saying that I (or any editor) hid those info for my (our) own motivations, thanks — we do not "publish things how and when we want", we follow specific and official formats.

Sorry, but your question doesn't make sense then.

I told you that we follow official formats and you asked me again why I hid those info... You are either trolling or simply not understanding, but in both cases I already answered you.

Alterations

  • You can rent an alteration for 1 EUR / 1 USD for 2 days in order to test it and decide whether you want to buy it.

Is this information still valid?

Updates

What about new turret "Striker" ?

Quick battles

I think it doesn't need to be on the player's current server.

I'm pretty sure it should be 24 hours, but I'll double check.

[uPDATE] This should be 7 days instead of 2. This will be edited accordingly.

Would imagine that this would be relevant, I'll see what I can do to change this.

Do you have proof to back up this claim? If so, please display it when you can in an organized and clear manner. As far as I've tested, nothing has led me to believe it extends further than the current server. Besides, it wouldn't make sense for the Battle button to move a player to a different server in regards to rank distribution.

Maps

Maps' List

Atra has CTF mode.

If you used a straightedge, or simply highlighted the page, you would have noticed that Arena is listed as lacking a CTF mode, not Atra.
