Micro-upgrades page, third paragraph:

"There are a total of 50 micro-upgrade steps for each turret and hull."

It might make it clearer to add "modification" at the end of that sentence.

That would mean there are 50 steps for each modification (M0, M1, M2, M3) when now there is just 50 in total.

Please keep in mind that it is really hard to keep updating those pages, especially when the nub Reporters accept just about every applicant and we're not constantly checking the "Lists of Helpers" page. Cheers for the update though, will do soon.

Just missed me and Acnologia, the page already contains the new reporters, that's why I pointed that out :P.

You are like us since we have the same paints.

We only got two lucky applicants though. :P

Page: http://en.tankiwiki.com/Turrets

Problem: A turret with the greatest recoil, longest barrel, and biggest explosion. It requires a lot of practice in order to master targetting. Pairs well with heavy and medium hulls, since light hulls are too weak and either inflict an overwhelming amount of self damage or they won't survive long enough in order to launch more than one shot. Light hulls also risk flipping over from the immense recoil and impact force.

2. Great limited, range.

Solution/Edition: A turret with the greatest recoil, the longest barrel and the biggest explosion. It requires an extensive amount of practice in order to master targeting with this turret. Pairs well with heavy and medium hulls, since light hulls are too weak and either inflict an overwhelming amount of self-damage, or they simply won't survive for long. Although there are certain exceptions, such as camping with a camouflage paint, light hulls also risk flipping over from the immense recoil and impact force.

2. Can shoot anywhere while being behind cover.

Page: http://en.tankiwiki.com/Missions

Suggestion: Add 'supermissions' in Daily Mission types.

Just a few minor edits, but necessary.

Note that Magnum has no 'range'. Well, it does, but its range can cover any Tanki map.

  1. ja, we will change that up. Gracias

  2. The missions page just states the types of missions that you can get. The two super missions come under those so there is no need to state it.

On http://en.tankiwiki.com/Format_Battles, it says

  • Wasp M2 gets 10% protection against Railgun
  • Hornet M2 gets 20% protection against Railgun
  • Railgun M3 gets a special alteration that increases its damage and reduces its reloading time

Wasp m2 is actually 12% and hornet m2 is 24%.

Also, what are the statistics for the m3 alteration?

We'll probably have to follow this up with Devs. I don't think the alteration is actually buyable, it's a special one only for XP/BP (I'm fairly sure).

Chat moderator section on this page needs to be updated since chat violation reports are no-longer accepted: http://en.tankiwiki.com/Avatars

I think Shad mentioned something about that a while back, must've forgotten.

http://en.tankiwiki.com/Development_Plans

  • Remove communicator from work in progress
  • Add matchmaking and HTML5 to work in progress
We're not in charge of that page! The Devs update that.

On behalf of the Wiki team, I'd like to apologise for being pretty late to these messages because literally every single one of us has been busy over Easter and we've had no time for Wiki work. We'll update this as soon as we can.

I heard about this special alteration, but I thought that was only given to railguns in DR to increase damage or something. Making Railgun M3 even more OP in XP/BP sounds a bit crazy...

Basically: does that actually exist? I've heard rumours, but am curious...

Also on the http://en.tankiwiki.com/Format_Battles page, wouldn't it be better to say Hornet-Striker as (XC) not (HS), as that is what it is called in the create battles tab.

Happy easter and thanks for the good work :)

reading these lines in the wiki makes me think, this all happens in the same gamemode.

But I've pretty sure that the railgun alteration does only apply for DR battles..

And why would it only be for M3 rails...? M2 rails are already at a disadvantage, why would you increase the gao between M2 and M3 even more...?

So that people actually buy m3 xp/bp, otherwise very few would buy the combo, and play with m2's if they were equally good.

Also, what is the point of an alteration to increase damage, if you're giving the hulls protection against rail?

Surely the 2 would cancel each other out - more damage and more protection.

I don't know about anyone else, but I find that whole page kinda confusing... Perhaps if you were to basically remove the first section, and add the details to their relevant formats, eg.:

(I'm on phone so my formatting is going to be non existent - imagine the full-stops are bullet points)

XP/BP

...Hornet/Wasp + Rail

...Hornet M2 is given a 24% protection module against railgun

...Wasp M2 is given a 12% module against railgun

...This format can also be played as just XP (Hornet + railgun), or BP (Wasp + Railgun)

Do the same with DR, and XC and you can basically cut out the first 3 sections. Another advantage to this, it removes any possible confusion about using a hornet/wasp M2 in a parkour battle and not getting a module.

Also, @sg37, XP/BP M3 is absolutely without doubt better than M2. General consensus is that 1 XP M3 = 1.5-2 XP M2s... Why add an alteration that increases that gap...?

On another note, http://en.tankiwiki.com/Indication_of_parameters remove self-heal, shaft penetrating, and add Magnum protection module
