ok did I miss something over the years being here.. I have always been told tanki and Tanki X are two separate games which are owned by the same company ..https://en.tankiwiki.com/Tanki_X

but why is it now that we have it added into our Wiki section ? will they now be joining together next month ? seeing Nives said something big is to happen in tanki ? I'm wondering what is happening now..

Hey Bydo,

Tanki Online and Tanki X are indeed two different games, owned by the same company — AlternativaPlatform. The Tanki X page on the TO Wiki has been there for quite a while now, it isn't something that was added a few days ago. Tanki X and Tanki Online will not be joining together (not next month at least). :P

wasn't referring to this in the streams but something else (not much information was given about it).

What do you mean by "joining together" lol? Do you think it's possible?

Its really not possible TBH. If it did happen the total player base would probably go down quite a bit, so it wont.

We have it because it is a part of the company, therefore it makes sense to have a page on it in the Wiki, just like RU (but we have a more detailed page than them).

well then why is there no white board advertising seeing the company also sells those ..lol

guys they have been rumors of this happening for so long that , that's all it is are rumors . so far no proof has come from it.. I only said it to see if the mods or wiki section heard of anything big happening next month.. we can say that there will be a scary event towards the end of October coming to tanki . lets see how scary it is to scare our socks off..lol

I don't think AP owns the "white board company," they just contributed to development. Regardless it has nothing in common with Tanki franchise.

Fix excessive commas in the trivia section of the Legend rank's page.

The correct sentences should be (in order of the trivia):

1. Currently the highest rank in the game.

3. Two consecutive Legend ranks differ by 200,000 experience points.

m0 smoky has the same impact as m0 thunder, m2 thunder has the same impact as m2 smoky

alos, it is not every shot you land has a chance of being critical... the one right after a critical has no chance of being critical

aren't people from denmark called Danes or Danish and aren't Ducth the people from Nederlands?

Yes.

But that is a lit of countries, not nationalities...

I've seen it happen.

Not legitimately you haven't.

WIKI shows Minimal critical % chance as negative.

https://en.tankiwiki.com/Hunter

It reads that Hunter is a close relative to light hulls in opposite to Viking. Am I mistaken, or is the Viking nowadays more drifty then a Hunter? Since they exchanged a lot of Viking and Hunter stats about 1..2 years ago, I would say that the Viking is closer related to light hulls then the Hunter.

As the drift is the major attribute of a Hornet (that set's it appart from Wasp), it's also a Viking that is closer to a Hornets drive today (Viking = pancake Hornet :p )

At the end of the page it reads that this hull is the only hull that comes for free. As I started my latest alt some time ago, I was already given a Wasp, a Hunter and a Titan as starting hulls (and only 1 turret -> Smoky. And of course the Hunter/Smoky was the equipped combo to start with)

Fixed.

If you read after that line, the point is clarified:

When you finally get a critical hit, the chance is set to a negative value, and you must land a few more hits before the probability is above zero and you can get critical hits again.

The repair kit wiki does not explain that repair stops with damage.

Damage in the game calculates (accrues) for each tank once per game tick (0.25 second). Specifically, damage is calculated four times per second and applied at the end of each quarter-second tick.

Accordingly, when activating a repair kit, the 1000 hit points are applied within microseconds of clicking the "1" key, but the 1000 aren't added until the end of the then current tick. I'm not privy to how damage is prioritized, which is applied first, but one can suffer less than 1000 hit points and still destruct if the fatal damage is somehow applied before the 1000 hit points repair are applied and accounted.

Here is the important part that needs to be clearly explained in the wiki. If one is under attack when activating the repair kit, it will usually apply the 1000 hit points at the tick, and then add 250 hit points more at the next tick, but if under fire from Twins, Vulcan, or any of the three short-range turrets, that is all. Repair stops. Sometimes 1250 extra hit points make the difference. Sometimes only the first 1000 are accounted. An unluckily timed shot from anything stops the repair-time, too.

I suspect most experienced players known this, but they probably need a clear explanation and remainder.

The repair-time also stops if tank health reaches full.

Further, the drone  that extends the repair effect is limited in utility. I'm not even sure I understand how it is supposed to work. (All drones need more thorough wiki pages.) If a heavy hull at M3.20 (4000 total health points) is down to, say, 1 hit point remaining, activating the repair kit gives it 1001, then adds 250 more per tick (1000 per second), so at 4 seconds, it is fully repaired and repair stops at 4000 hit points restored.

I'm not sure why the drone adds two seconds to the repair time. A light hull is fully repaired in two seconds or less, a medium hull is repaired in three seconds or less, and a heavy hull is repaired in four seconds or less. Thus, the maximum possible duration of a repair kit's repair time is four seconds, so it is not clear why the drone is said to extend duration by two seconds (and four if fully upgraded). The repair kit time is three seconds, which is excess for light, and 100% for medium, and then adding one second make the repair time 100% even for the heavy, but some how the repair duration is supposed to be extended one extra second (three extra if fully upgraded).

The short version of my suggestion is to add detail about the repair kit operation and "ticks" to the wiki.

Is "Tick" still a valid time unit?

A tick used to be a quarter-second. There used to be various parameters defined with ticks, and ticks were defined in a place or two in the wiki. I cannot find reference to ticks any more.
