Would it be possible to put the link where people can apply as a helper in there too? Because I think it is more convenient that way and less work to give the link to a player and once he reads the difference between the helpers then give him another link where he can apply.

Maybe you can just post the link for each helper position somewhere down and say it like ''Click here to apply as a Forum Mod'', ''Click here to apply as Facebook Mod'' and so on. Just saves a lot of time for many.

I'm talking about this site: Assistants of administration.

Hi, Players who are below the Rank of Warrant Officer 1 can enter PRO battles if they have a Premium account as for the exact rank I'm unaware of. It would be nice if this was noted in the Wiki: https://en.tankiwiki.com/PRO_Battles#The_PRO_Battle_Pass
possibly add it as a Premium account bonus in here as well: https://en.tankiwiki.com/Premium_Accounts :)

Is this a better way to see what's on the Challenges than the wikipage, where you have to scroll halfway down the page before you find the prizes?

Unfortunately it doesn't show the amount of stars to the tier/total stars. Otherwise yeah, it looks good and doesn't take up a lot of space on the page.

P.S

Nice of you to provide us with those pictures, it must have taken quite a while to make them  :)

Yes, it needs star amounts added, which isn't an issue.

No, doesn't take long to do - half hour at the most.

I noticed 1 more issue with this idea: we can't get the images as readily as the current data. We try to publish information on the Wiki as soon as possible. To get the images, we'll need to wait until the Challenge has already started and gone by for a few days. After that they'll also need to be edited to add the stars to tier. All this (obtaining, editing, etc) will take a few days to do.

If you can think of something else or a workaround, feel free to suggest. :)

How come?  Tanki should get their finger out and get you the images sooner, esp considering they have so many people working there.

I got the images from the challenges panel where the missions are, and just Print-Screened them (25 in total, as I grab them in pairs).

The only constraint here is I can't see that until the Challenge actually starts, but no reason not to have the image (like the ones I posted) probably later the same day the Challenge starts.

It may not replace the format you already use, but it might be a useful addition as it gives an instant reference for the prizes.

The longest part is copying bits of the print-screenies into a psd file template, which takes 30-45 minutes.

The way I've done it is create a psd template, the bottom layer is a previous month to use as a template, post in new tiers from the screenies in layers.  A top layer can contain the stars and amount needed till next - and you only need to do that once, as it will be the same for every month thereafter.

The only thing you have to do when the challenge starts is edit the layers that contain the tier prizes.

What I'm having problems with - which I hadn't intended to include when I started it - was the stars earned, and the stars to next tier.

I tried adding the stars earned in yellow to the left of the Tier number, and a score to the next tier in red to the right of the Tier number but it could be confusing without something to show what those numbers represent in all languages and really needs some sort of logo instead of the word "next" so that anyone can understand it.

Here's what I mean, in the top row.

Better download, as image loader in the forum is terrible.

The psd file is here, so you can compare how I've done it.

It's possible to do so in the Wiki, but not plausible. It would certainly take a few days - as my colleague said - to ensure the table works properly, seeing as there's three columns per first row cell, then two below it and the cycle continues, making for an unnecessary array of code that can be avoided with what we have already done.

This is something that belongs as a graphic (as you've created) in some forum topic, not in the Wiki. So try creating a prizes thread in Game Discussion with other relevant information. :)

Why is the Challenge page still showing the rewards of Challenge #2 of the Archive? If it's of the February Challenge, why place it in both Archive and Current Challenge Rewards list? It can be misleading.

They are still updating it, give them some time.

Thanks for providing the table - however we already have the data. :)

You can expect our table to be updated within the next few hours.

Wiki Heros!

I have been using the Wiki lately quite a bit and I must say that whoever is involved in its upkeep is doing a splendid job.

The pages seem to be almost always current and that is quite a feat when faced with all the myriad of changes Tanki keeps making.  In fact I've never really seen the Wiki as tight and current as it is now.  It is a shame that the rest of Tanki can't be so efficient and well organized.

Keep up the good work Wiki-Folk!  (Give them all a raise Tanki...at least a few containers) :)

---------------------------

You guys have a bad case of mergeitus.  I felt the Wiki-Folk deserve some recognition from the larger population of the forum...that's why I started this topic in "General"...to let other posters read and comment on the Wiki-Folk's good work.  Now that this is merged it will mostly be just the Wiki-Folk that see it.  Why not let topics sit in their original place for at least a day or two if not a few hours to let the general population read and possibly respond.

What and where is the harm in merging a topic AFTER it has run it's course where ever it was started?
