Indeed good luck, because when the game shuts-down, I am not sure TO will ever have a proper & more-informational than player-guiding wiki.. and as a guy who likes wikis, it's sad that games I favored for years (matterless if they're a constantly-updated MMO or a retro cartridge game like legendary SMB. which is 100% final) are mostly going to oblivions and memories of all-time players. There on the web actually is a FANDOM wikia for TO, but it's going downhill even worsely than the game's 'official' wiki. I actually have had plans about starting something (you can see in this image on Imgur), but decided to not deal with it anymore for the to me obvious reasons I will not state.

I could report a lot of stuff in need to be updated or completely edited on this wiki for the sake of legitimating this post and not being wiped-off, but it's pointless.

Its not pointless, if something needs to be edited, report it and it will be edited.

How many days will it take to add new football paints to wiki... so I'll be able to check their preview?

Here you can check the preview of football paints.

Thanks @Viking4s for the link.

Specify that it is in the RU wiki where is it all written in Russian and they do have more help from TO to make their wiki nice.

Please keep in mind that in order to optimise the game, the number of gifts shown in the Profile has been reduced to 100, just like in the garage. This will result in you losing some gift counts if you received over 100 gifts before.

What the...? I seriously hate Tanki Online now. I lost many good gifts including 2 blue spheres. There should be a count of all gifts somewhere.

This is so stupid change and so they didn't even announce it.

If you think about it, the purpose of a gift is to show someone that you care about them, rather than hoard the gifts and show off how popular you are. While it would obviously be nice to still have all the gifts displayed, it wasn't important enough to sacrifice server power for the sake of displaying all those gifts, because every time someone loads the profile of another player, the server gets a request to check the number of gifts that player received, and considering the total number of players, gifts and amount of times people view others' profiles, it all adds up to a large amount of unnecessary server processing power that makes profiles (and probably the game itself) work slower.

Gifts are memories too. I received some gifts on very special occasions and now they are totally deleted.

At least they should had been told us before doing this so I would have deleted useless gifts and keep the special ones.

The gifts limit in the garage was always 100, so you could make sure you delete new gifts in time so that the oldest ones don't get overwritten.

I suggest separating current Wiki to a wiki and a guidebook. I am sure actual "Wiki" would be barely as 'big' as it is right now by doing so, and this message is not meant to be offensive but critical. Or you could ignore my suggestions.

They're literally the same thing, Wiki and guidebooks.

They're literally the same thing, Wiki and guidebooks.

Well, it's mostly like that. I see a wiki, generally, as a knowledge-base. I like it clean and as much informational, following general content policies of the best wikis out there, such as Neutral point of view - where there is no opinion, suggestion, mention of certain player (including the word "you").

On the other side, a guidebook would be, well, literally 'digital book' of guides, instructions, hints, solutions where you can use anything not suggested for a wiki. While I already recommended it for a wiki, I'd also recommend open-to-public's-contribution (or at least to some point, where AWS moderation team reviews AWS articles and sort them appropriately, referring guides, instructions, etc. to such site) for such.

Seriously, it needs more formatting and re-organizing guys, I mean, if you take a look on some bigger games' wikis, you'll understand why same are being continously worked on.

On the last note of this post, just want to say that I may be nowhere as experienced or good with organizing, planning, and/or anything required, and I am not going to assume anyone's other experience in so, but it's just a considerable suggestion you will not be harmed from. This message is meant for this game's Wiki Administration: If you know you wouldn't have time, experience, sense, knowledge or will in/for working with/on such a project, it's understandable but not a reason to dismiss plans about it.

As Impulse said...

Our wiki is not the Big Wikipedia. We use the same engine, but for different purposes.

Using the same engine as theirs doesn't mean we have to follow their policies. Their NPOV policy is there because Wikipedia is a international wiki that serves millions of people every day, every fact based their is unbiased and not directed towards any points so that it doesn't discriminate someone or something out of the other. We have our own community, our own Wiki which is only edited by a few people for tens if not hundreds of people every day. We only serve information about Tanki Online, hence policies which don't allow for a point of view are not required. Our Wiki serves both the purposes of a "wiki" and a guidebook to the players of Tanki Online.

TO Wiki is what it should be. You have idea of grander, better, bigger, ... it is good to have such idea to push the limit, but this is not what TO wants. The main project is the game, not the wiki.

You already expressed many time what you wanted and you got the same answer every time, you should get the picture by now.

If you really want to do some editing about Tanki Online the wiki way you can still help this project: http://tankionline.wikia.com/wiki/Tankionline_(english)_Wiki

I promise this was the last suggestion, I accidentally slipped-off from my decisions published on 15th of June (in the second quote of this post). As for "same answers" as responses multiple times, it's not my fault that a negative or a positive response can be given for use in responses to the most requests, suggestions or questions - and I did not give two same suggestions after all.

You should get a picture what a minor long-time videogame fan wants for his/her game by now, as well.

Just checked the awesome pages that have been recently added and when I checked few of them, the Ginga paint page doesn't seem to be displaying the picture of the paint, I thought it was only me and even refreshed it but seems like it is the same.
