"Updates" page is updated only when this official topic is updated: Patch Notes / Updates

Ok I must wait forever, to know what I have missed? Takes long to read through the archive, I thought the wiki was a much faster and better method to have a quick skim and scan to understand what happened so far, especially as I did not play for some time, would be great to know.

I already asked you to avoid asking already answered questions, please. You asked something that has been answered TONS of times already — that page is updated ONLY when the Devs update it or they update the associated official topic.

It doesn't matter about creating an actual page for the paint at first, for example in the Russian Wiki they created a tiny part for Phoenix as they do not have a lot of information regarding the paint, which is shown as followed: http://prntscr.com/ci2q9j . Anyways, keep up the good work, I remember the wiki before and now its pretty amazing :)
Thank you, glad you like it :)
For your first sentence — I am not a RU Wiki Editor / Administrator, but an EN one. I decided that our EN Wiki will only post FULL information, so until everything is clear on something I will not allow it to be published, sorry.

Hello, why is my suggestion being ignored

eSports area will not be updated until there will be a consistent amount of stuff to add there. There is not point for us to add little pieces here and there, we prefer to build up a well-made article / page and publish it as a whole thing.

Also, we do not ignore suggestions, but we decide which are worth to apply and which we should discard. If we do not reply (or reply with a no) to a suggestion it means it got rejected for our internal reasons, sorry.

I don't know if you mean you have a consistent amount of stuff ready to post, or when there is material for you to write available.

There is certainly a large swathe of esports history, namely the last 2 years completely missed from that page.

I suggest you remove the page until you update it, as it is misleading.

Sorry, but we won't remove anything at all. We will focus on that section in future, as we always did for every section in Wiki, but that is not our priority at the moment, we have other ones.

It's fine that it isn't your priority ok?)  But you said earlier you don't like half done things

So, the page is totally unfinished and by what you said above should be removed until it is up to date.  It does not have "Full Information".  Also, the Wiki is partly designed to advertise the game and a page with very old outdated esports *only* is bad reputation.

The page is not unfinished. The page is simply out of date, which is a different thing. When we will have enough info to publish (info that will cover the existing time gap), we will publish them.

Also, as I already said, that is not happening anytime soon. We have to finish maps' section, guides' section and other more important stuffs than eSports, which are on a standstill situation anyways.

P.S. You can keep with this argument, but eSports IS NOT our priority, it is a close-knit area which is not fundamental to be kept updated as other areas are, sorry.

Well what the viewership want is better than what you think should be added. The basis of the wiki is to give correct information, and relevant information. Anyways, first of all, if you are going to finish the guides' section, why is their a guide "Five Ways to Win". There is no point in this guide, as it does not establish on what there is to win, one can simply not win Tanki. So, instead of finishing the section off, might as well re-work on it as it is giving misleading information. Oh yeah, this is only from a specific area, but still I checked this guide, I see unclear information. I check Guide to XP battles next, and I see more misleading information. Look you want to complete something, which gives misleading information rather than actually complete something which the viewership want to see completed, then fine by me.

Lets see, second of all, maps; section, wait forget this, as even a long explanation will not help my argument. The information you say you need info on, well you guys should be well informed as you guys are 'wiki editors', and this information is not hard to require. To be honest, a bit of searching around or even asking one of the eSport Officials could probably give you very accurate information. To be honest, main reason I am here is for paint Glide to be added, you say you don't want incomplete information, but according to your wiki, it does not exist.I gave you the information regarding the paint, you don't state what information you want, instead even with the information you do not care. Yeah the new wiki is much better, if I recall 1 year ago in its early stages, at least it kept the viewership happy. Now you update the information, most people don't care about. meh, I rest my case.

Glide paint will be re-added, but only once I verify what I need to check about it, its past and its current assignation, since it also changed design. Trust me, I am not waiting for nothing (I already got the images ready, recovered what I needed from the archive and such) :)

For "Guides" and "Maps" pages — these are hard-to-work-with areas since they contain many info. We are, step by step, concluding things. You have to understand that most of the current editors are on holidays, thus many of the things to be done have to wait a bit. Each one of us works on specific stuffs, so give us time, we do our stuff one by one and with care.

In Product Kits, the module of the Boar kit is written as Griffon T-CG M2. Please correct it.

Fixed :)

Adding on to this, the Chiropractor kit lasts from Second Lieutenant to Lieutenant Colonel, seeing as Loam unlocks on Lieutenant Colonel.

The ranks are given to us by Devs, it's possible they committed a mistake, good catch.

Maybe I missed it, but i think a wiki guide on the battle mode  parameter under pro pass would be welcome.

What each icons mean, the different typical format parameter, the STG mode, parkour....

this would probably help people to create more battle under the pro pass.

STG is not an official mode, thus no guide on it at all. Only official stuff gets published.

For the rest, just use the search option or roam the Wiki:

Creating a Battle that was the one i was looking for. sorry it was right in front of my eye.

One more question:

Does an explanation of the railgun and mine random vhit damage value is worse publishing? or we just let people guess what it means?

Man, please do use the search option, those have been posted years ago :)

Thanks. Regarding railgun sorry about that.

Regarding the mines both articles (Mines and Supplies) are  incomplete, they do not talk about the random value of the damage and even not  mention the 120-240 range. It doesn't' say if the random value like for the Railgun's (damage varies randomly between two fixed boundaries defined as «Min. Damage» and «Max.Damage». In depth: Game Mechanics). People have the assumption that the lower damage hit value for mine is always 120 and that it double to 240 when you use a DD. It the theory I had (I'm not the only one) until I had some hint that it might not be the case. I had a hull with higher value just above 120 hp and still some time died ans some tine not. This was frustrating because you don't understand what is going on. I look at the wiki and found nothing about it. So maybe it could be useful to have an explanation in the wiki. It's much more interesting to write about this than correcting grammar and conjugation.

The wiki is very useful and prolific, well done, however the search button is not as good :/ I search game mecanics and end up with "Game mechanics". and not In depth: Game Mechanics

Unfortunately, all the info we have are published. Mines have that damage range, but it is unknown to us, at this moment, how it is calculated and defined, otherwise we would have published it :)

For the second part, I am sorry for that, I am aware. You will surely enjoy the Wiki more if you actually ROAM it, instead of search for specific stuff.

Thanks for taking time replying, much appreciated. :D

I did ROAM it a couple of months ago, but now can't find some of the treasure I did dug up (e.g. the In depth: Game Mechanics).

If you need (in order to redeem form my laziness) I can help on a French Wiki variant if the idea is in scope.

Just for reference on the mine thread on Questions & Answers forum.

Hello!

So my idea is to add positive bonuses colored green and negative colored RED

Lets say... Hammer alternation named Sludger.

Vertical Spread Angle -50%

Horizontal Spread Angle -50%

Rotation Speed -65%

This wont be hard to implement and gives just better understanding about alternations to people who dont know english language well enought. Lets say there was some stuff about firebird wich i didnt know what does it means and i dont know if it is a good effect or bad so i think this would be REALY useful cuz it would say at least something about this alternation and users may get better idea what this alternation will do to their turret. And this would take just few minutes to implement (Changing text colors shouldnt be hard not at alll.)
