Hello guys! So do you like Physics? Have any interesting fact to share about it? Then this topic is for you. Please share any fact about physics if you know. You can ask a question and someone can answer it. :)

I admit that I was inspired by the Bio hub topic. :P

No. Let's turn Tanki forum into 'Study Forum'. This might lead to parents encouraging their children to play Tanki. :p

LOL, and is this just physics, or does it also include quantum physics?

Penguin40 can I quiz you since you're saying "I like physics"?

Here's my Q.

We have a block of mass m on a slope. The coefficient of friction between slope and block is "k". Then find the angle of the slope at which the block will start falling.

A simple mechanics problem. Shoot at it.

I love physics since I aim to progress in sciences but this is not the place for studies ;)

Lets just enjoy :P and keep studies away plez

I appreciate Drazer's words. This is a game keep the study away, people are here to enjoy not to discuss tensed things.

Who said studies are serious things? Its just he perception. Studies can be fun if you actually engage in them in a receptive way. That's my opinion anyway. :)

Well I respect your opinion but I beg to differ; I like to discuss studies a lot so I do it on every forum and community I am in. Edited by Zenyth

Okay, I got a question for you physics buffs. People in tenth grade and above need not scoff at this question, nor need any of you google this question:

A block hangs from a spring balance, and the latter reads 20 N. A bucket full of water is weighed on a weighing machine, and the weighing machine reads 40 N. Now, the block is completely immersed in the water (STILL attached to the spring balance) and the spring balance now reads 16 N. Find the new reading on the weighing machine.

NB - As the experiment is being conducted, the bucket remains on the weighing machine.

It's very, very, VERY easy - you just need to get your concepts clear.
