I play with my friend in 1 vs 1 battles quite often (various maps and formats). We both realised that there is no gold box drop in 1 vs 1 battles. I would like to know is it the case that no gold box in 1 vs 1 ? Should we play battles with more players during the 10x gold box drop Halloween special (if we want to catch some gold boxes) ?

No golds drop because fund isn't growing very quickly

Only the Halloween map

 

It all depends on the rate of increase. Take Polygon as an example. The rate of fund growth is quite high, so more golds dropped. The amount of crystals in the fund doesn't matter, just the rate. Then if you go a Duel, because you can only get 1 kill every 20 seconds, the rate of growth is very low, so the chances of it dropping are very low

I am just a bit disappointed with the 10x drop only happens in Halloween DM map. I barely play DM  because my tank is too weak :( . I always need teammate's / friend's help to survive. Anyway, happy Halloween gaming :) .
