Wow, do you seriously spend your time thinking about ways to bash what Tanki implements? I'm getting really annoyed at the multiple posts the haters put on for no other reason than to put down this game. Please reflect on the good things about Tanki, rather than always seeing the downsides.

First, do you ureally need to spend time to think of this? It is common sense.

Second, now I know that we are not supposed allowed to say anything negitive about Tanki. Okay. Let's shut our mouths. Happy now?

There is one major thing ''bad'' about having these stats:


- they do not include mentioning what percentage of the time one was competing against cheaters (hackers or sabateurs), so when going against cheaters (or even with cheaters, if one's teammates are doing that) the stats will be impacted accordingly, but unfortunately the stats won't and cannot show it even if the programmers wanted to show it

Oups... it seems that I confused the word admins with the word mods. My apologies. :huh:

 

 

Seems that all developer accounts and most admin accounts are hidden from the rating's list.  :mellow:

The stats of those admins who aren't also devs (i.e. volunteers as opposed to game employees) aren't hidden either... All those Tanki staff who are 'players like us' have their stats available for anyone to look at, Tanki is not trying to hide anything.

 

Don't make an argument if you're uninformed.

hmmmmm.... Personally, I did not care about my stats now, better focusing on end of year sales. Moreover, I think tgis system is exposing the life and garage of each tankers, hopefully they are not showing how many crystals we have :P  :P  Anyway, can any Developer please consider this request:  Please why cant we buy double crystals card alone in the garage like the PRO pass??? Please many tankers need that when buying crystals especially with the incoming end of year sales.... Please consider this request... :(

Good

You can study your opponents now, like in chess. Know their favorite turret/hull combo and type of paint. Probably good for clan wars.

 

Bad

It might be too much information as someone with spite can use it to hunt someone down (by favorite game mode search) just to kill them multiple times (use paint against their known turret and use a turret opposite against their paint protection) and just leave before retaliation.

Sadly gold boxes caught haven't been monitored trough out the history of the game :'c

Maybe saying when registred in the game?

Its not a bug...but just a update for people who wondered why the crown is there in front of their name...

See carefully, its crossed out, that means that you could had earned those extra crystals, if you had premium, but you're loosing the opportunity to grab them, without premium....

Having stats is nice. Having them exposed to the entire world with no control on my part is a bit creepy.

 

Anyone familiar with the worlds of cryptography and espionage knows that the slightest bit of information can be used against someone. Here, on Tanki, the users of that information could be hackers (the bad kind...) and bullies. The victims could be little kids. If the folks in Perm don't provide us with some control over this information, we should all start hoping and praying that this doesn't lead to tears (or worse...).

but i find this new stats update a total invasion of my right of privacy

what i own and what i have payed for with real money is in my opinion not for sharing with unknown people

 

 

what next?

is tanki also going to give out a players nickname and password so other players can have a go with your

equipment? or worse steal it

 

in a democracy i have rights and i am demanding tanki give me the right to disable this update

i think its up to players who they let be known what equipment and other stats they have to be seen by other

players

Where are they revealing that you invested 'these many amount' of $ in Tanki?

They're only telling your garage, and some achievements....they've even hidden the MUs (which was not really required)...

 

 

And c'mon man, you also know it VERY WELL that Tanki won't reveal the passwords ever...and if yu don't know, then i guarantee you of that......the achievements ought to stay as they are...

Everyone was wanting them to be released...

 

(If Tanki listens to people, they're damned....if they don't, then also they're damned) :(
