Thank you for the stats. Nice, but could be more useful if we'd count which or whose tanks specifically where hit more, percentage of precision  ie. number of shots over number of deadly shots; number of stolen flags, taken points etc. However I do not understand how you calculate expetiance and cristals. I am actually losing exp. points, though I play every day. At the beginning I was 160th. and right after that I gradually, but surely went down - 2600th, 5000th. Now I am below 12000. Although i play every day, have a pretty good kill count, my expericance number is decreasing. why?

I do. But you have to understand that you brought it upon yourself - if you didn't want to have your game statistics shared, you should have read the EULA and not sign up.

It only states that they can publish this information, but it doesn't say that it must publish every single person's information

look as you can see in my profile, I don't have any statistics coming up

I am just waiting for the developers to ANSWER

whether they are planning to keep that stupid timer or not, because it's useless and I don't feel comfortable with it

once I get a reply from the staff, and if it's negative, I am out of here.

I come to play a game, hoping to relax and enjoy, getting away from problems about work, taxation, due dates, traffic, arrogant people, garbage on the streets, ignorance, terrible music and so on. And what do I find? That they are publishing my stats and some data that can indirectly lead on how I spend my time without even asking my consent. Furthermore, they hide themselves, using their "authority" to do it. It really looks like a caste.

I'm not in the position of saying it's surely legal or illegal, but I don't accept it and, with me, many other players who can see beyond the end of their noses, not stopping on the first moments of excitement about changes. Many of us consider it a violation, there's a reason why.

Don't ever tell me life is tough in such superior and arrogant way, cause you do not know anything about how my life is, BABY.

And since we all signed an agreement, why did mods and devs hide their stats? Nobody, neither you with your arrogant behavior, gave me a satisfactory answer.

I do not know why you think my reply was arrogant. I am saying that life is tough in general to you and to everybody else. If your life's too easy, then just shut up and count your blessings, don't be arrogant and criticize everything.

Somebody posted the EULA clause 7 that gives TO the authority to publish any information about your activity in the game. You have agreed to that, so you really can't blame them.

Now, I am not sure if the devs and staff have signed that agreement, but because they are the company, they can decide not to publish whatever they want. The EULA did not say it has to publish everything. They just can, and they did.

I think hiding the staff profiles was mean, but I do not think it was illegal. This is not the first time TO does something that irritates me. Though, that does not require me to criticize everything they do.

The bottom line is that if you think I am arrogant, you are silly and you do not understand what you read. We are all in the same stupid boat.

when I search for a particular friend's Stats, there is no result found.

I've made certain I entered the tank name correctly....many times.

so....is it possible to "un-list" or "hide" your Stats?

The border between legal and illegal is not always clear, specially in the internet era. And you also used "I do not think it was illegal" means you aren't sure either.

You find it legal, I find it illegal for the reasons I won't repeat. Who is right? Who knows. But I see this as a violation, cause I don't have other words to define it and, most of all, I can't stand that privilege for "the caste" to hide their profiles while we, poor sheep, have no choice.

It's the second time you say "shut up" to me, which is not very polite. That's probably the first time I complain about an update on this game, so tell me where I criticize "everything".

Your "Sorry, life is tough" just after inviting me to "legally shut up" (without even being sure about that) sound more like a provokation. But you said it isn't. So, thanks for your life lesson. Now I know: life is tough! Never noticed before.

Since I said everything I had to say about this update, I'm done on this topic. See you around for happier stuff.

That fuels competitiveness. You are "motivated" (read forced) to buy more equipment, paints, and upgrades, and guess what? That is wonderful for the economy. XAXAXAXAXA!

I love being a Gizmo. I do not have any more goals. I can quit or play whenever I want, and I do not care about the ratings. Nobody can surprise me by finding out that I am neither the best nor the worst player in the game or the player that plays most or least or have most or least equipment. I know that, and I have said it before many times.

Don't worry, 2 more top paints to go then I can switch like there's no tomorrow. :D

With that said, this update has brought out the worst in us unfortunately. Like you, I don't care about ratings either and just relax :D

Frankly tanki ratings are bogus :P  When most of the time I join a lesser team and play against superior forces

often vastly out numbered as do others.

People like that deserve a silver star! not a lower rating.

  but  thats tanki

Um.... I feel stooppid, but what does the ratio in the Green Bar near the top of the page represent? And why is there no pop-up or subtext to explain it? I also don't see an explanation of the green bar in the announcement. I guess it's supposed to be self-evident -- but apparently t's not for me. Thank you. - Captain UgNitz

Based on my previous post, I mentioned that it is legal, according to Maltese law.

This is normal for Malta.

But even though it's technically legal, it may not be ethical.

First and foremost, just because something is legal it does not make it right as well. For example, you can always go around your town, knocking everyone's door and asking them if they are kind enough to sign a piece of paper handing in all their belongings to you. Statistically speaking, after knocking thousands of doors, at least one will be stupid enough to sign that paper. This is legal. Should you do it? You know the answer to that question.

Now to talk in more legal terms, let's see what it is that you are quoting.

Here you state that the company has the right to make available to the public some Materials and you define those materials as follows:

Now let's look which of those actually has anything to do with the hours spent playing the game:

texts: no

drawings: no

images: no

sounds: no

programs: no

commands: no

names: no

subjects: no

stories: no

dialogues: no

phrases: no

concepts: no

illustration: no

animations: no

sounds: no

musical compositions: no

effects: no

documentation:

For this you write

I am sorry but this is not how the law works. You don't get to define things however you want. The law defines them for you. And apparently that is not the case here. Documentation can also be any documents storing your personal information like real name, address, credit card number. If you can define documentation however you want, I can do the same and define it as anything storing what I stated in my previous sentence. So now tanki online can make your credit card available to the public, your name and your street address. That's great!

let's go on:

game chats: no

any other form and include any other derivative material, placed in the Game by User or the Company:

no again just as in the documentation, this can be interpreted differently by anyone, the user generates material every time they buy something, as described above. So this would give the company the authority to do what ever they want with this material. And I am pretty sure you would be among the first to cry for privacy when they decide to put your real name out there in the public.

So, I am sorry but I don't see your point. It's not there, like at all. Both morally AND legally speaking.

No where in the use of terms do they suggest explicitly that this company has the right to store information about how much time you spend playing the game.

And even if they did, which they don't, all we do is, we ask them not to. We ask them to respect the fact that some people do not want others to find out how much time they spend on this game. Everything else we do not care about. Why do you need the hours spent when you have the experience gained by using some gear?

So please, listen to the community, like I said before not everyone here is a child, some of us do have jobs, spouses, friends and want to keep a low proflie when playing this game. By putting the time we spend in this game out there, you automatically put everyone at risk of unnecessary exposure.

As I already mentioned in this thread, Tanki is allowed to do the exact opposite of everything in the legal agreement due to them basing their legalities in Malta.

Maltese law supercedes all the others in the world since they base it out of there, not Russia.

So you are correct that it's legal.

But whether it's ethical or not is a different issue.

Uh.... so what does 380 916 / 390 000 (my green bar stats) signify precisely? I guess I am still kinda stoopid re this. Thanks. ... ...   Doh! Never mind! I figured it out, LoL. Why can't the bar just be called the "Progress to Next Rank" Bar or the "Rank Progress" Bar or something like that? Without the number of points to next rank in my head, I was mystified by it. Oh well.

Please add a ranking for some of the stats on a per-hour basis. For instance, top 100 tankers in experience earned based on highest ratio per hour.

I see a tanker with ~10,000 experienced earned, in approximately 42 hours. ~245.5 per hour.

Also, another ~11,000 experience earned, in approximately 61 hours. Obviously less efficient, ~182 per hour.

Another, ~7,800 experience earned, in approximately 21 hours. much more efficient. Over 370 per hour.

I think it would be useful to see this stat ranked per hour. A few others would be useful to see as a rate also.
