Yes I agree,this should be changed for people who want their profile to be seen

and those who do not. Those that want their account unseen should have a private button of some sort,and when clicked it only shows your account to friends or nobody will be able to see it.

If we are not going to have any control over who sees our garage, at least let us see how many times someone has viewed our profiles - by way of a 'Hit Counter' or similar on the profile page.

But I actually got 2 friends of mine to share some of my stats with me... I'm surprised to say my K/D(as of the 23rd I think)was 1.75...

You should add an "Average experience per hour played" for each mode and between modes. Heck, you could add a rate for each of the stats. "Tanks destroyed per hour of play in the last week" etc. But exp is the one I really would be interested in just being able to see without doing math.

not our game friends nor others playing the game.

...otherwise, don't show that too.

Because some game friends use more than one account at the same time so they use they stalk you and then join with their other account to attack or sabotage you.

There is one major thing ''bad'' about having these stats:

 

 

- they do not include mentioning what percentage of the time one was competing against cheaters (hackers or sabateurs), so when going against cheaters (or even with cheaters, if one's teammates are doing that) the stats will be impacted accordingly, but unfortunately the stats won't and cannot show it even if the programmers wanted to show it

Generally very good - but a few things of concern:

 

Revealing how many hours someone has played Tanki each week is really private information and could get some people in trouble and get banned from playing Tank!

If someone spends 119 hours per week on Tanki - that's crazy and will make your eyes go square - this should not be encouraged by the scoring system.

 

The solution (as others have said) is to measure (and show publicly) e.g. how many Crystals earned per hour - this is a much better measure of someone's performance.

 

Add to this number of Gold Boxes per hour.

and XP gained per hour.

 

These 'per hour' ratings would replace the existing Top 100 score listings.

'Per hour' ratings effectively hide the total amount of hours being played.  Or maybe Tanki is keen to help players 'face the facts' about being far too addicted to Tanki?

 

Note, to help identify the most skilled players we need to identify the highest scores achieved per hour without the use of garage drugs (maybe max 10 of each supply per week) - please could Tanki provide a measure for this (i.e. any fool can kill loads of tanks while using DD which distorts the stats.)

so with the new update

 

1. Hackers can see what you have in your garage, and then decide if your account is worth hacking

2. If by any chance anyone finds out that you have an account on this website, they can see how many hours you spend on it. In other words assuming that you spend 2-3 hours every day playing this game, then in a year from now they will see that you spent 3*365 = 1095 hours on this game. And because 1095 hours sounds like an insane amount(45 days, yes, 45 consecutive days playing tanki online) , your friends will automatically label you mentally unstable, your wife will completely abandon you, your boss will fire you.

I am looking forward to spending those 2-3 hours playing this game for the rest of the year and face the consequences with a big smile on my face.

 

Or maybe not, I would rather stop playing completely.

PS: The stats that matter, sure, keep them. Kill/death ratio, this is important. Hours spent? This is a pure violation of someone's privacy. I can't believe you thought it was a good idea to include it in this update. I can't believe the developers are this apathetic and ignorant on what is considered to be sensitive information and what not. I simply have no words.
