All profiles will be publicly visible, which means you’ll be able to view the profile of any tanker, whether he’s on your friends list or not. To do that, you will simply need to find his page using the search feature on the site, or by clicking on his name inside the game and selecting “Profile”.

I find it difficult to believe the developers are willing to just publicly display such sensitive information without our consent.

This is ridiculous.

I can't believe how frustrated you're getting over harmless gameplay statistics. For example, what is so concerning about others knowing the number of hours you've spent using a turret?... What's that? You secretly use Twins while nobody is looking?! :O

Don't worry mate, we won't judge.

Agreeed. It should be seen by the player and then let him decide if he wants it timo be publicly open.

Not even a decision. Just like our garage is personal, the stats should be available in the same format - to the player and no one else. However, I don't mind a small icon showing the player's best turret (most kills in one battle) without the stats. The icon can be symbolic, like what is shown on the paint shields. I wouldn't think that would be too personal, just what you specialize in.

I can't believe there is a staff member who has 0 common sense. However seeing how the majority of the community consists of under age teens, one should definitely expect the level of response I just received from Reeco9.

Is someone really trying to argue that the fact that showing everyone they used Twins M3 alot is a violation of their privacy? If that's the case I'm wondering how they found the sense to even switch their computer on.

Privacy (/prɪvəsi/ or /praɪvəsi/; from Latin: privatus) is the ability of an individual or group to seclude themselves, or information about themselves, and thereby express themselves selectively. The boundaries and content of what is considered private differ among cultures and individuals, but share common themes. When something is private to a person, it usually means that something is inherently special or sensitive to them. The domain of privacy partially overlaps security (confidentiality), which can include the concepts of appropriate use, as well as protection of information.

I do not know about you guys, but the amount of time I spent using a specific gear, is private. The amount of time you spend on anything, is and should be private. Any statistic generated by the way you choose to live your life, is and should always be private.

Unless tanki online gives the ability for us to hide such sensitive information, I am officially done with this game.

You can do what ever you want with the features of the game itself, but when you invade my personal space and not only that, but you also make everything related to it PUBLIC, then this is a red line that once crossed, there is no way back.

You're joking, right?

im happy with everything but

A crucial element of the new system is a weekly TOP-100 of tankers in 3 categories: experience earned, crystals earned, and gold boxes caught.

These lists will be reset every Monday with the scheduled server restart, at 2 am UTC. The good news is that the ratings will be in real time, updating every few minutes. So, if someone is close on your heels, you’ll be able to see it, and more importantly, do something about it!

This should be in achievements, kills every week and other battle statistics should be in weekly top 100 tankers....

Tankers!

You’ve been waiting for them for a long time, but the wait will be over soon. Get ready to pull out your bragging rights because Personal Statistics, Ratings, and Achievements will be hitting the game tomorrow, October 29!

Here’s how each feature will work.

Ratings

A crucial element of the new system is a weekly TOP-100 of tankers in 3 categories: experience earned, crystals earned, and gold boxes caught.

These lists will be reset every Monday with the scheduled server restart, at 2 am UTC. The good news is that the ratings will be in real time, updating every few minutes. So, if someone is close on your heels, you’ll be able to see it, and more importantly, do something about it!

Statistics

With the update, each tanker will have his own profile page, displaying various statistics:

  • current rank
  • amount of XP till the next rank
  • number of enemies destroyed
  • number of deaths
  • total death/kill ratio
  • currently equipped gear
  • current positions in weekly ratings

The bottom part of the profile page will list all the turrets, hulls and paints used by the tanker, including the amount of hours spent and experience earned using each piece of gear.

The system will also display the number of supplies used, as well as the time played and experience earned in each battle mode.

All profiles will be publicly visible, which means you’ll be able to view the profile of any tanker, whether he’s on your friends list or not. To do that, you will simply need to find his page using the search feature on the site, or by clicking on his name inside the game and selecting “Profile”.

Of course, you will be able to share your profile with the world through social media.

Achievements

Achievements are Tanki medals that will be issued for reaching various milestones. We are going to introduce nearly 150 of them, ranging from the most obvious, such as destroying enemies and capturing flags, to more unusual ones, such as collecting all XT items or getting a rare paint.

NOTE: The only parameters that have been monitored since the very launch of Tanki Online are experience points, kills, deaths, and crystals earned. All other numbers have only recently started being monitored.

So, to avoid any confusion, experience, kills, deaths, and crystals earned, are counted from the beginning of the game. Everything else has started being counted as of Friday, October 23, which is when the statistics system was integrated into the game.

The update is hitting the game in less than 24 hours, so it’s time for you to get ready to finally prove that you’re the best on the battlefield!

Sorry Semyon I know this is off topic but I emailed support that a hacker spent crystals on my account and you said that one of my friends or relatives spent crystals.

The update would be better if we had an option to make our information private.

At last, a useful and popular update!

I have forgotten what it looked like to change something in this game for better instead for worse..

Hope that info on real achievements (like ratio of drugs used per 100 kills etc) will be available.

Good job :)

I understand the concern on privacy matters, but when you join a party and don't want the number of drinks consumed by you be available to others is not really a claim for privacy.

IP, or religion is private info.

D/L ratio or hours spend on a single turret or totally in game is not.

My opinion. Peace.
