Halloween has come to Tanki!

I shall be honest. I have never, in all my years of playing videogames, had as much fun as I had yesterday. Gold hunting on Halloween DM was the purest form of heaven I have experienced. I am not lying when I say that I cried when 2:00 UTC came to end it all.

 

To any devs who may see this: when the next holiday comes around, forget about the equipment discounts. Don't spend too much time on decorations, or contests, or anything like that. Just give us a new map and make the Gold Boxes drop ten times as frequently.

What does that have to do with it? Your statement makes 0 sense. I hated premium accounts when they came out too, I wrote a whole damn article on them, just cause I spent $10 on a game I play so much doesn't mean I'm a full out buyer.

The only thing the players hate is your arrogance!

Tanki has around 450k unique weekly users, that's down from well over 600k users a year ago!

These celebrations just show the increase in duration that players are logged on playing the game, this is directly associated with the game economy, if you offered 50k available for 30 min to every player who logged on at 01:00 utc the graph would go through the roof if it was well promoted.

Just when I am starting to think there is some real professionals running this platform, you come into the forum to gloat over a relatively meaningless graph.

A year ago we had peak loads of 120k Every day!

I expect this sort of behaviour from teenage trolls, not from representatives of the platform.

True, but you have to understand that we've reached a point where many gens have achieved their goals and have left the game, not much new players are joining either due to the fact tanki have pulled from advertising momentarily, so of course the number of players are going to go down, it will reach peak levels again next year i guarantee it

My evaluation:

1. Halloween map: excellent, though in a normal battle it was too much favorable for short range turrets. It was really a fun with XP-XP/BP and no drugs.
2. Decoration and gold notification on the map: superb
3. DM  only: after a while it was quite boring, even the XP format battles, but I played due to the mission.
4. 10 times more gold: excellent idea, I prefer that much better than 10000 value gold with the usual frequency. Anytime a gold increase is planned I would prefer the increased frequency over the increased value.
5. Discount 13%: quite low, not motivating for me, but better than nothing of course
6. Special paint: very OP for the lower ranks, nothing special for the gizmos, but very expensive. I would not have even bought one with PA.
7. Special mission: thanx for that, half of my accounts got that (at the highest rank I had to change missions three times for a total 1000 cry or so, but it was worth). I had enjoyed more if I could play team battles.

Man,i used to play few hours a day just tanki and it was too much!

i really enjoyed,but i put a game above top priorities like learning and homeworks!

And it also made me to go less often out and to be less friendly .-.

Now i do just daily missions and sometimes play a bit more,but i truly slowed down,because i need to do it!

Dont get me wrong,i love gaming,i would do it at all day,but in this life,you cant just play =/

After all,gaming doesnt brings money

It brings just joy,and having dreams will not bring you a job!

Working will bring you a job!

If all dreams would come true with no effort,world is awesome!

But life is not like that and you need to work to survive,except you game developer or really full time pro gamer....

And being full time gamer is a chance of 0,000....1% because millions ofp layers across the World!

So play moderately,for fun,not make it to extreme!

Here is a day of a regular tanker halloween (review):

 

 
I began play to do my daily missions about 09:00. I did not know it was  halloween  :-)  
 
Missions: Collect 5x Double damage - for some crystals
                Capture 3 flags                     for some crystals 
                The Halloween mission        3000 xp in Death Match reward 4000 cry 
 
I played some capture the flag to earn the mission reward (since there were no Capture flag on halloween mission). 
After about 1 hour i still hadn`t completed the flag mission, so i tok a look at the Halloween map:
 
 
The Halloween Map (Reviev):
Awesome! The ambient sounds did make a darker atmosphere to the game. Wish Tanki would make more maps with dark atmosphere, We still have night mode maps :-) 
 
I did make alliance with 3 other, that was fun. 
 
So i decided to do the halloween mission on the halloween map, even if it would take some hours.
In the meantime i did catch a gold box 4000 cry :-D And i tried to help one who hadn`t catched a gold box yet :-(

 

The second gold box i didn`t catch. Did it dissapear? Some replied they did not catche it either.

Maybe the lagg glitche as someone said?
 
 
Server resets:
In the end i did`t complete the mission :-/  2550/3000 xp  reward 4000
When i got to the chat where you choose map, many was complaining they did not get the mission don in time. Some said they had 300 -100 xp left   Noo why :-(
 
At the end i am glad i catched that gold box. :-)
 
After thoughts:
I have seen the youtube video in this thread, Compliting Halloween mission in 5 minutes wow. I Guess higher ranks completed that mission faster. I used about 3-4 hours. An other tanker i met 5 hours (with breaks). 
 
I have read all comments. Agree with most of you. Don`t wanna mess with the quote system to show what comments i liked. (I am new to writing comments) 
 
At last i will share a thought to all who didn`t get the mission and wouldn`t bother to change it for some cry. 
I feel the dissapointment  of thous who didd almost complete the mission.
 
Solution: 
We could get a second change for those who almost was don.
 
Next time if you could chose mission for (how long you have time to play). In my chase i would like: collect 1500 xp for 2000 cry

Or even  750 xp for 1000 cry?
