Defending premium players

If players didnt buy anything here the people who play for free wouldnt be able to play at all as there would be no game to play.

I expect what is going on is that the abusers of premium players make an assumption that any buyer must therefore also be rich and spoiled in real life too, which can really be the only reason why it counters so much venom from non buyers

 

The why should they have this extra special better than I can have attitude is born from one thing they wish they could have it too

I always try to drub them and yell at them/ call them a noob because most of Premiums I saw at my rank can't turn turret but come in top 3.

 

With lighter and fast hulls (wasp/hornet) and rail/thunder, it makes no sense to actually turn turret as you can take more time to schedule your shots and improve aim. We did team training few weeks ago and tested this theory. 30 minutes with turning and 30 minutes without - thunder/hornet combo. And we found out that not turning hulls with these turrets actually gained 15.8% more accurate aim and whopping 4% improvement of number of shots fired during DM(this is average per player % in 10 player dm). Inbefore I get flamed hardcore, this test was performed by individual players with individual skills, it does not mean that everyone should do this or this works same way to all of you TO players. There is hole different story with different turrets and hulls and turning turret is MUST for most of them.

I have prem paint and I do not use it as I find it useless in most battles in my rank. As I mostly play Rio ctf and Pol DM, there are specific guns people use the most and 15% from all makes this paint useless in higher ranks. As mentioned before in someones calculation, 15% is literally nothing. In lower ranks, this paint is abit OP-d. Now let's talk about the holiday paint called eternity - IMO this paint is completely OP'd. I have it currently MU-d to 45 Thunder, 43 Isida and 45 Smoky - at my level, it is big deal to get such good protection for guns which are mostly used in battles. yes, I know it was 500k paint, compared to Clay, it is expensive as hell, but when you start MU-ing it, it will be similar level as Clay and other paints you can buy in highest rank. Therefore, it is still best paint available at Brig rank and overpowered for atleast next 4 ranks.

 

Bullying premium players is normal thing. it is just not premium users, but mostly all who rank high in battles. Past 300 battles when I played at least 13/15 minute match, I have ranked second just once, only first. I have probably heard every bad word there is. Most common is drugger and time to time I do not drug at all and still people attend to call me drugger. I do not mind being bullied as this is internet and online game which has no effect IRL occasions or path, therefore, I usually just laugh and ignore people, just as every player should do. Because there always will be some players you can't handle loss and NEED to find a reason why they did not win or performed bad. Who else to blame than players who are first, drug or have properly MU-d equipment?

 

For conclusion, Premium gives no advantages and is completely useless upgrade. Devs really need to think out something to people actually wanting to buy it, somekind of unique feature connected to accounts for example sending crystals(scratch this, this would make people start using stolen cards) to other players or ability to hide your profile or ability to spectate games - these would make killer premium without compromising gameplay. For business wise, premium was mastermind plan. As somebody described before, premium players have lesser skills because they rank faster, since they haven't played that much. Now you have IRL money and are already quite high rank, but in every battle, you are average or under average, so what can you do to improve? Obviously buy crystals to get better turrets/hulls - there we go, Tanki Online made money again and people who have IRL money to spend, can be on top.

finally good reason why i don`t turn them ...also i find by the time u do turn your dead ..so why bother the hulls are easy to maneuver in battles then turning turrets at times ..when i do it`s mostly when i`m pinned and can`t move is when i use them and they do good but over all no reason`s for them..

Premium accounts are buyers, and of course first reaction from other tankers would be jealousy and hate. Anyone that buys them better be prepared for lots of flak in the battlefield.

 

With that said, a premium user (depending on level of buying) can have access to drug kits, OP kits and that 15% protection paint to dominate the battlefield.

 

Money dominates skill and free players hate it, simply because at times they fail to fight back.

 

Maybe Your friend could have uncheck the option where the premium stuff is visible to others.

 

And don't forget switch off the chat if he's that bothered, lol.

 

I face insults all the time when drugging and I generally couldn't be bothered, hahaha. I will make sure I drug twice as hard when insulted :)

Acctually, you just assumed without doing the math. Watch

M3 rail gun does 164 damage. 15% takes away 24 damage away

 

M0 rail gun does 73 damage and 15% of that is 10.95 do the math, and you will get the right answer. Which is greater?

24 > 10.95

The premium account annoys tankers (like myself) because it is the visible sign of a buyer, and not just a buyer, but a buyer that gets extra crystals and extra xp. I don't care if they're noobs or not, everyone starts as a noob. Learn to play, that's what I say! People pay $10.00 for stuff that they then say isn't all that good. What a load of crap! They then continue to buy it, don't learn to turn thier turrets, and get more crystals then the top player. What bugs me most about it is the fact that the devs have decided to tease us with the bonus; Say you get 200 crystals in a battle as a non-buyer. It is one of the most annoying things to see:

I am continually against premium accounts as they ruin game play, because they are then targeted (which I am not against) but I hate the way it destroys any sort of teamwork that exists. 

 

So personally, I think premiums should be kicked, and only have the buying of crystals, which is at least discreet. 

 

The other thing that annoys me about premiums is that there have been things removed from tanki so that premiums are the only ones to get it (Take the SMP's as an example; Just an experiment, as were crystal boxes and many other things that I played with as part of my game.

 

I guess I've pretty well stated my case.

ok  i`m not into  premium accounts that much ...but  when you break it down lets look at it this way

 

first ......that 100 % is no different to a player getting multi-player pass..

second ..pro pass we all use those in pro battles

third..... xp well we get that with both products

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

forth......... paint protection on all items well at 15% this is where the line should be stopped

fifth ..........now we know who are the buyer`s in this game are / who now stands out to all others they get no privacy ..

so really the last two items are what really annoys me as a players. / buyer ...... i think the most

 

sure i`am a buyer but will i want to stand out over others no ... yea i have used it over the Halloween special but was it worth it ..only for the deal over the holiday ..did i stick out in the crowd YES..was i bullied yes...  would i do it again not really  ..if i do it would be when we have a sale / contest like in Halloween.. other then that would i waste my real money to get nothing out of it in my real life .. NO.

 

.only cause i can play this game with out spending money and get the same results in the end..

 

why would players buy not sure what advantages will u get if you buy really not much just the royal looking logo ..over your friends

The thing is, nobody complained about that. Before the buying people could get just as many benefits as premiums. Using their millions of crystals they bought, they could buy a smp, a pro pass, any kits they wanted, and still have crystals left over. No hue and cry was ever raised over that though. The fact is, there have always been buyers who have had enormous advantages, but you ignore them until premiums come along so you can bash them. Nothing has really changed, and even if anything has changed, that's no excuse to bully premiums.

Actually, I've played this game for four years now, and if you are a known buyer, you were getting destroyed by everyone. People liked buyers as much as they like premiums, it's just that buyers were so much harder to spot. Unless you stated that you were a buyer, you weren't known as one. I still remember when you could be called a buyer (it happened to me many a time) as an insult. See, the thing is, the fact that it is obvious means that all the people who disliked buyers, still dislike them, so when buyers start saying "here I am" people will go after them. 

 

Also, if people think that they're getting bullied, while swear words are inappropriate, they mean nothing, and actually, it's generally quite easy to annoy the person who's swearing by ignoring them, or making a comment that is friendly back to them (I have done it many a time).

And anyway, if someone wants to go after them in the game, that's their choice. Is that any worse then going after a non-buyer? No! So it shouldn't be a problem here!
