Hello Tankers!

 

I am not sure if this idea has been suggested before, but how would you like to sell or rent turrets, hulls, and paints?

 

On the server you will log on to, you can set up in the server selection an ad for your item, and it will be said to be for rent or for sale.

 

If for sale, there is the option of setting the price, notifying others you are willing to accept a smaller amount, or even auction off the item. The buyer has the ability to see information on the item, such as how many times it has been upgraded in each area. The normal price for the item in store will also be shown.

 

If for rent a player can choose to use the item, but must pay a preset fee everyday, or he or she will not be able to keep it in his or her garage. When renting the item, there will be a "missing" icon on top of the item in the garage with info on who has the item and for how long, and even who will be renting it next. You can rent out all the items in your garage, but you will not be able to battle. The owner of the item has the choice to set a time that the item can be used, with the option of indefinitely being rented.

 

There is also the ability to "ask" to buy or rent an item. A player can set up their own ad saying that they are willing to buy or rent an item. In battles, players who want to sell, rent, or buy items will have a little icon in battles. You also have the ability to "save" their name and later notify them about a deal.

Is this would created, Tanki Online would have to create an entire market and code many things to accomadate these new ideas. Also, I think that renting items should not include more powerful items, such as higher tiered items that your rank does not allow. Although I think that renting may not work, I do think that we should be able to sell some old useless paints or equipment for perhaps half the original price.

Suggested multiple times before.

 

Tanki Online is an arcade shooter game, not a bank/monopoly simulator. Adding the things you suggest may be useful or interesting for some players, but for the most part it's just unnecessary complicated features that don't make the game better, but instead just make it more confusing for beginners. It's counterproductive.
