Lets Discuss The Upcoming Christmas

What I think should be fitting:

 

 

x2 Battle funds

MU sale

50% sales (one day hulls, one day turrets, one day paints)

2016 Crystal gold boxes

Contest of some sort.

 

These are my predictions. I honestly wouldn't be all that suprised if it isn't 50% sale, but it feels like it should be.

2016 crystal GB will be for NY.

Tanki has been celebratijg christmas and NY together. Last year the turret sale at 24th December and Hull sale at 25th was named as discounts for NY celebrations.

75% sale is neither possible nor should be expected. It has been a lot of time since tanki last did a 1 hour 70% off on a particular item.

50% off would be cool enough for christmas or NY. And increase in funds :D

We want sales more than gold boxes. Gold boxes are unfair celebrations because a small chunk of the community can do well for example only the good gold hunters got the Halloween treats and normal players got only a few gold boxes that too by fluke.

This means that only druggers and gold hunters "celebrate". Anyway, its also unfair for lower ranks like me because fund rate is low. Thus, sales are a more viable option and a fair one as well.

You make an excellent point, Blood_Clot, and I admire the humorous way in which you stated it. "We want, we want, we want, blah blah blah..." Like a bunch of kids in a toy store and there's no way possible for them to have every toy that they scream for. There's no way Tanki can give all that, yet that's exactly what some tankers will demand, knowing that it is impossible, ready and giddy to whine and scream about not getting every little toy in the store. Very perceptive of you to see that.

Discussing Christmas!? In November!? Yes people, the gelatin blob that is my brain is perpetually stuck looking toward the next holiday on my calendar, and while Thanksgiving is closest, Christmas will come soon after that. This will be the first Christmas in Tanki, and I want it to be good, so here I have a few small suggestions that will hopefully be given some though. If you like, please hit like:

 

1. Give a free SMP: the pushback the devs got for discarding this wonderful boost was to be expected. Even I was annoyed that never again would I see the pass waiting to be bought on some rainy day. Giving this to tankers will certainly guarantee a more happy celebration time.

 

2. Gift(s): what's Christmas without gifts? On the big day itself, at least one free gift of crystals, supplies, or even a turret or hull would be appreciated.

 

3. New maps: the Halloween map seemed to be a huge success. On any server I went to, the battle chart was filled with Halloween DM battles. I was thinking of inputting two new maps for this occasion. A north pole themed map, and maybe a nativity themed map. CTF, TDM, and CP would be nice to have too.

 

4. Special effects for turrets: having the Twins shoot out alternating green and red shots, or having the thunder blast blow confetti are my first ideas (more input definitely needed on this one).

 

5. A sale: duh, need I say more?

 

6. More gold boxes: duh, need I say more?

 

 

All other suggestions will be appreciated.

North Pole.. uhm okay. But nativity scene would make it too much Christianity-oriented celebration. Remeber that TO sale/celebration occasions are taken on account of being "big events or holidays"; and not for their religious significance because that would be unfair.

 

Secondly, I like the special Xmas effect idea. But I'd like it for rank ups. For example if you rank up during Xmas a big Xmas tree pops up, well decorated and confetti falls on your tank and the tree. :D

 

Thirdly, I doubt TO gives a dream turret/hull without us winning a contest. So there won't be a gift in that sense.

 

SMP, gold boxes will be welcome but the SALE IS A MAJOR NEED.

2. In 2014 Tanki did an event like this. Buy 5 Christmas toys (50 crys each) and you will get a surprise on sale day. It was X3 your crystals for a daily gift. A new toy came each day and the previous was removed.

 

I would like something like this to happen again.

 

3. There always has and always will be a Christmas theamed map. Though a nativity map just may be pushing it, not everyone has the same religion so making a specific map for one religion and not others could cause conflict.

 

Last year there was about 5 Christmas maps, so there will be one, but which map? Unknown.

 

4. Funny enough this was done once. Smoky shot snowballs, Railgun shot streamers, that's all I can remember. :LOL:

 

It would be funny for something like this to happen again, though maybe only for 24hrs. Full support for this. ;)

 

5. and 6. There will be a sale and increased Golds. Sale is unknown, but will probably either be 40% or 50%. Gold boxes will most likely be 2016 crystals (Year 2016 :P) But could go higher if Tanki's feeling generous.
