Very few lessons you learn in life - completely. Because we always make the same mistakes from the emotions or to avoid the less evil.

But, I have learned what is honesty, truth and a lot of things through the pain and the hard life. I've learned that I am what I am and that I do not care what others think. Even I am not young I still learn, like Seneca said: As long as you live, keep learning how to live

My life lesson is... Pizza tastes nice :P . But seriously, this is it: Honesty and loyalty are key. If two people can be honest with each other about every thing, that is the key to success. The other thing, is this: It's discouraging to think how many people are shocked by honesty and how few by deceit.

Edit: I have a quote from C.S.Lewis which I think applies. Please take no offense.

A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word 'darkness' on the walls of his cell.

C.S.Lewis

1. Nothing is ever as simple as it appears.

2. The most valuable ability one can have is being able to push yourself to the limit. Hard work, self discipline, and perseverance are the keys to success.

Also, perhaps this topic should be merged with the already existing topic Words of Wisdom.

Another C.S. Lewis quote, a personal favorite of mine.

"Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important."

Expect the worst and hope for the best and you'll never be disappointed.   ;)

Also..

You're one in 7 billion people. 7 FRICKEN BILLION PEOPLE. whenever you worry about YOUR problems just sit back for a moment and realise that you're an insignificant little ant and that your problems are minuscule and meaningless. :P

Excellent statements.
