Please return to the first version of the micro-upgrade.
Because (for example) I do not want to do full upgrades such Isida M2, because soon I'll take Isida M3.

well i like it but to think that my shaft damage was almost fully MU 20/24 and this update came :( now i have to pay for the others parameters too which cost about 28k....per progress :,(

tanki doing a foolish us.....coz u cnt do directly upgrade 4-5 (i.e range or speed etc...) it goes step by step......in old version we cn do MU any like speed or range etc...but this new update u cnt do this.....

I got into Tanki about 6 or 7 months ago. I loved this game when I first started.

I have liked a lot of the changes that Tanki has made, but this latest change is the

worst change thus far. I use my M3 Thunder, which I was happy to micro-upgrade.

I liked the ability to micro-upgrade the individual areas, for example if I wanted to

just upgrade the damage and range, I could. Same goes for my M3 Hornet.

I use my hornet on maps that I feel I need the speed, like in CTF boards.

On other maps I use my fully upgraded M2 Hunter. Now that I am FORCED to

upgrade 5 parameters at 1 time, the cost is rediculous. I did about 4 or 5 upgrades

over the last day, and because of speed ups, I spent well over 100k crystals.

Each upgrade was like 20,000 crystals (+/- a few thousand) per upgrade, and

the speed up was a few thousand. This is absoultely rediculous. I know Tanki needs

to re-coup some of the cost of the new Tanki that is coming online soon, but who can

afford to upgrade M3 tanks and turrets at 20,000 crystals a pop ? I think this is really

going to affect how many people play this game. Maybe this will weed out the

really weak tanks and people that do not buy crystals, maybe that is Tanki's goal,

get rid of people that play for virtually free. I just don't see the vast majority of Tanki

users spending 20k per upgrade. I know I can't. Will make people probably use more

drugs to win more battles to get more crystals.

 

This change to the Micro Upgrades SUCKS.

No other way to put it.

You can boast this is cheaper to upgrade all at once,

but why not give people the "OPTION" to upgrade all at once or

upgrade each parameter separately ?

If someone wants to drop 20k crystals at once, then give them the

discount, but still allow us to micro-upgrade each parameter seperately if

we choose to. Please go back to the way it was, and give people a

CHOICE of how they want to upgrade. This would be the fairest way

to move forward and not lose a LARGE portion of your base tanki players.

 

Well that's my two-cents.

ALSO, YOU CAN NO LONGER GET A PARTIAL DISCOUNT FOR ONLY PARTLY FULLY UPGRADING YOUR TANK'S INDIVIDUAL CAPABILITIES!

ANOTHER ISSUE ARISES WHEN YOU REACH A RANK THAT AUTHORIZES YOU TO PURCHASE THE NEXT M-SERIES HULL OR TURRET; AND THAT IS, THAT IF YOU HAVE NOT SPENT THE CRYSTALS TO FULLY UPGRADE YOUR HULL OR TURRET TO RECEIVE THE 100% DISCOUNT (FREE) NEXT M-SERIES ITEM (I.E. M-2 TO M-3), YOU MUST CHOOSE TO EITHER SPEND THE CRYSTALS AND TIME TO FULLY UPGRADE YOUR HULL OR TURRET TO RECEIVE THE NEXT M-SERIES ITEM FOR FREE OR PAY THE FULL PRICE OF A NEW M-SERIES ITEM WITHOUT ANY CREDIT FOR ANY OF YOUR PREVIOUS UPGRADES EVEN IF YOU ARE 30 OF 50 ON AN ITEMS UPGRADES.

 

I RECOMMEND EITHER RETURNING TO THE ORIGINAL MICRO-UPGRADES SYSTEM OR GIVING A PERCENTAGE DISCOUNT BASED ON THE DEGREE OF MICRO-UPGRADES ON THE NEW MICRO-UPGRADES SYSTEM WHEN YOU ATTAIN A NEW RANK AUTHORIZING A NEW M-SERIES HULL OR TURRET (I.E. 50% DISCOUNT FOR 25 OF 50 COMPLETED MICRO--UPGRADES ON A HULL OR TURRET).

Now look at the price tags of other turrets, ulls and paints that you wanna MU slectively (only damage, only protection, ..).

They make you pay more then you saved

No, no, it's not just the protection. It's for all the stats combined. The cost of the steps has remained the same. What has changed is that instead of mu'ing one stat at a time, you're mu'ing all the stats at the same time.

So how much will it cost to fully upgrade the protection, for example?

Converting everything to the highest parameter if ya had the 1 segment full... now that is a weird way of trancisoning.

 

Well there is little to no significance to the update besides the before mentioned trancision. 

 

What do i think of it? tbh i'm only sad i lost the pass of my alt that had full damage twins m2 :ph34r:

I just cant imagine. Suppose a guy bought stinger kit at WO4 (hornet m2 + isida m2) and b4 this update had upgraded one whole parameter.... HE freaking would have a hornet m3 and isida m3 about 8 ranks below where he should have it. People would say what if just one guy would have it that way, I would say that one freaking guy has the power to ruin any battle for others

 

I completely agree, it's a crazy way of  "Striving for near perfect game balance "

 

In a previous V-Log, I remember when they decided to remove all the old kits because " It was upsetting the game balance too much " It was said then that with the new kits it would only be possible to obtain equipment that was available at your current rank...."No more early access !" That didn't last for long...I'm guessing not enough players bought the trash kits that were being offered, and the Devs did a U-Turn. There we were back to early access again when the "revised" kits rolled out. So game balance was not such an issue all of a sudden !   

 

Now when we look at this scenario with the stinger kit as you mentioned in your post, it seems obtaining M3 equipment 8 ranks early won't upset the game balance either. 

 

Tanki staff, please Do Not mention that you "Strive for near perfect game balance " It's a lie that only you believe !

 

In the past year I've seen more U-Turns in this game by the Devs that my Sat Nav has thrown at me....and that's so old it runs on Dos !

good update.

but will considerably increase the price of each upgrade, and from what I've seen, the damage and recarda and the protection and speeds will not increase much for each upgrade. it is to steal the crystals that once you guys said our crystals were precious and should be spent properly, now seeing this update so I can increase damage or protection will spend many crystals and will not be able to increase the damage as before.

 

this very expensive to use the upgrade. for the amount that I will give to my guns and tanks.

what 0.1 will give advantage for the price of more than 6,000 and 0.2 for the price of 15,000 find it very expensive for the increases are so low, making the bills now surely will spend more crystals than before to put my tower or tank with damage and maxims protection. luck who plays tanki long before these news all, and also for those who were already generalissimos when he entered the upgrades so they can have it all m4 in their garage with this new upgrade enough to have one old the maximum upgrade soon to have everything complete. good luck with the upgrades, my twins have not, can they even get to 15 minimum damage thanks to this update garbage, fire was just me use again the damage increase and now I have to spend 6-8 times the price for a 15 damage.

 

the principal that I was to evolve the weapons was the damage and reloading and range.

and tanks was more protection. but would also increase the weight and strength and speed.

Now in order to use only upgrades with discount in price at least 50% / 40% not less. maybe 30%

 

are you not care if I or many are upset with this update.

because you always have those players who do not care about the costs that the game has and it is these same players that help the online tanki not go bankrupt.

because i cant buy crystals, i buy only on sales which is 40-50% discount and i wanted with the help of fully micro upgrade 1 or 2 parametres to have 20-30% more without spending many crystals. now with this new update i must micro upgrade fully all parametres and with this way i spend more crystals than i wanted to. can you please put an option of micro upgarding only 1 parametre like before or all of them?

This update looks good, but in fact not. ....You will see the disadvantage later. Don't be such short sighted.

This is worth repeating.

The average tanki player is probably a 9 year old kid who is easily impressed by these alledged 'improvements' in the game because they think they are personally benefiting. They do not really understand the ramifications.

 

If I had just started playing tanki now, I simply wouldn't have bothered to continue playing it. This new upgrade removes the most interesting part of the game. I feel like I have wasted a lot of time, and feel worse for the people who have wasted dollars.
