R.I.P Parkour

Why so? it's already mentioned that MU on weight will be turned off in parkour mode i just found it out

Also, I like this better, now I don't have to upgrade each one individually. I can just upgrade them all at a set price.

 

Think about it psychologically: Before the update "Gah, now I have to upgrade THAT!?"

After: "Okay, only a few more crystals before I can upgrade."

Okay, I think I understand your reasons. Apparently you always micro-upgraded everything anyway, and you have tons of crystals lying about. However, I used to upgrade the parameter I thought most important for how I played, as soon as I could afford it. Now I can't until I can afford to upgrade everything, including things I don't care about. And having 50 steps means the parameter I do care about is getting a very small bump for a very big cost.

 

I don't scorn buyers; I object to everyone being forced to buy if they want to compete. Many updates moved us in that direction already, and this is a huge step in the same direction.

I don't buy crystals, and this upgrade made it VERY hard for me to afford upgrading my equipment. Especially considering a upgrade on my M1 Shaft might cost 1000 and I only earn about 150 in a battle. Not even taking into account the massive amount of crystals needed for buying m1's. I foresee hard times.

I haven’t played for 3, may be 4 months. I only login every 30days for the welcome back gift with crystals and supplies. I stupidly thought that I may fully MU the firing rate of my Thunder M1 in x’mas sale. I then may go back to fight in 2016. Now I don’t think I am doing this because it is impossible. I don’t think I am plying Tanki anymore.

 

I was pissed off many times this year by these Tanki guys; it started a couple of months ago. It was good when I topped up a bit of my crystals by paying a few bucks to buy the Predator kit, that is how I own the M1 Thunder with WO2 rank. Not long after that, they played around the parameters of the equipment back and forth and back and forth. As a result, Thunder’s direct hit damage was nerfed and the splash damage was increased, which made Thunder became a Kamikaze gun, and the reload time was highly increased. I then thought of buying some more crystals to MU the gun a bit. What happened next was that they messed up the paying system and ended up with rising the price of the crystals and with a crazy exchange rate: I had to pay USD 4.29 for CAD 3.99 of crystals, with the currency exchange rate at that time was around USD 1.00 = CAD 1.30 (should I buy US dollar from them with Candain dollar ?). I was totally pissed off at that moment and decided to stop paying and playing. But I gave Tanki and myself a last chance: to login every 30days for the welcome back crystals and supplies. Make full MU on the firing rate, and may be some on other parameters, of the gun during the x’mas and new year sale (yes, I am expecting there will be one by the end of this year). Then go to do some good games next year. Now, it is done. Game over man, game over.

Yup, it's hard to buy stuff now. If I don't have a parameter upgraded, its because I didn't want it upgraded or couldn't afford it. We're not that naive.

It's a step, they can always turn around.

Good...but you will start complain when you get the next modification of the equipment. You will see how difficult you are trying to MU it. Have you even think about this? They give you a tiny advantage at this moment but will cost you a lot in the future. You don't see this, do you ?

I think they are thinking in terminating the tanki online.

as soon as the Tanki-X are ready to receive players, the tanki online will end.

 

so make updates to get more money and do some players leave the game hoping the new Tanki-X

I have an alt account where I play vulcan; I play it on a hunter, and I play a very mobile style. MUing that godawful turret rotation speed is more important to me than anything else, and I've put a lot more into it than any other parameter. I take opponents by surprise when I can keep hitting them while dodging like crazy. That would now be impossible for anyone without spending a ton to upgrade the whole damn thing.

I hate this new way of micro upgrading I want to upgrade the parameters that I think is important,

instead of having to upgrade something that someone else thinks should be upgraded.

 

However I have some suggestions on how to do it differently:

 

#1: Selected Auto Upgrade:

If people want to upgrade a specific parameter on one (or more) equipment, they could check a box labeled something like: "Auto upgrade [X]"

This would automatically start the next upgrade level when (1) the upgrade timer are 0, and (2) there are enough crystals to buy the next upgrade.

 

#2: Upgrade By Using:

I'm a fan of the game mechanic where things become better when you use it, it kind of simulates that you learn how to use the tool better and therefore get more "power" out of it.

With this suggestion you can only level up a thing by using it, but it levels up automatically (I highly doubt that the developers will implement this ever, unless there is a way to pay crystals for it).

Micro upgrades should be just micro, that means at max a few hundred crystals for next upgrade, not a few thousand!

If you fully micro-upgrade your Smoky M0, you will get Smoky M1 for free. If you have the needed rank for Smoky M2, you will be able to buy it straight from M0:

• Fully MUed M0 Smoky
• Free M1 Smoky due to MUs of M0 Smoky
• Own the rank required for M2 Smoky
• Buy M2 Smoky paying only the step from M1 to M2, without paying the step from M0 to M1 since it is free.

I've collected some breaking news right now!!! According to some figures, all high ranks tankers have at least an m4 in their garage All low ranks players will be smashed by them :( Now, what will distinguish the best tankers are: skills, paint upgrades and use of turrets..... We are doomed ;(

I wouldn't get too comfortable with these changes, they would be out of their minds if they don't rework the economics of this update (AGAIN), not only is it unfair to players who worked to upgrade all of their parameters beforehand, but it is unfair to all those who want to micro upgrade now, its a slap in the face to those players, what about the players who upgraded more than one parameter? They've basically taken away hundreds of thousands of crystals from some people while others have saved that amount through little effort at all, this has also disrupted gameplay style for some people, who simply don't want to upgrade some parameters. This will either cause a futher imbalance in gameplay indefinitely and vice versa alltogether. Who ever is making these decisions clearly has never read an economic book before, yet alone mathematics, lets be honest

You now pack all parameters into one combo for upgrading, and because it is now a COMBO of parameters, you should lower the price. What do you think if McDonald sale their combos with the same price of the same items in the combos separately? Does that make sense?

This chane sucks. I was plannig to update only most important parameters and now I have to upgrade all? Can't afford that. Please change it back or give players a choice, upgrade all or just one parameter.

What if McDonals only sale their food in Combos. You want a french fries? You have got to buy a Big Mac and a large Coke as well. Would McDonals be that successful today if they are doing this ?

Hope tanki player stops buying crys and premium so maybe they start to listen? and say that it to your friends, I will not advertise tanki in any way when they think only of themselves and not of the players! THIS NEW UPGRADE SUCKS !!!!!!!!!!
