Merry Christmas,

 

I guarantee they will be offering a huge MU sale at Christmas, before they drop Christmas golds, or higher funds, and special missions.

 

A perfect opportunity to milk every possible dollar away from players while they still can.

 

Their only goal is revenue.

 

If player retention was even of a minor concern, they would not have done this to the players of this platform.

 

Only weeks ago they added Premium accounts, and it was just starting to be accepted by the players of the game and seemed to have a bright future, but with this update they have dirtied it and turned it into requirement to play the game.

Wow I just came back after a long time and saw this weird change..Free Dictator M3 & Smoky M3 :)

 

KInda feel weird getting stuff for free without paying. Still, this is an unfair update, since some can get M4s and those who only MU partially get peanuts. Majority of the people will really be cannon fodder and must pay more to be competitive.

 

I really liked the old system :(

so yeah... i got railgun m1 for 3190 crystals... heres why. So there was a new update were micro-upgrades were redone.

 Quote" Converting old upgrades

We’ve converted all of the old upgrades on your equipment to reflect the new micro-upgrades system. Now, the parameters on each of your items have been boosted to match the level of the most upgraded parameter. This has been applied to all turrets, hulls and paints that have been micro-upgraded in any way.'' That may sound pretty useless at first but because i micro upgraded my railgun m0's reload speed that was 9 steps and costed 3190 crystals, the update put all the stats up to the maxed point making my railgun M1 100% off.

i notice most of the likes for this new update is from the lower ranked tankers ..well just wait till you want to upgrade your hull paint and turret ...let me no if you still think its a great awesome idea when you havent got enough cry to do 1 of them never mind all three. happy tanking lol.

isnt it so unfair for people who didnt use microupgrade. Also if you upgrade 50 steps, it takes double the cost of the weapon

NO! NO! NO! NO! This change takes away control of my tank's special skills. For example when I want speed I use less weight and protection. For example on WASP. Or maybe I want extreme rotation on my Railgun and less penetration power. Now I have lost ability to make my own educated decisions for MY best tank. Right now it will be an extremely difficult task to capture flags w/ my TITAN because it is too slow. So w/ that maybe my missions would exclude CTF for MAMMOTHS and TITANS? When your not an M3/M4 a fully upgraded tank may not be the answer. The update, for some,  is great for a one time deal only. The change really is designed to get us to buy more crystals and spend more money.  This is the biggest mistake TANKIONLINE has ever made. Tankionline was the best and w/ TANKI-X coming even better. But now . . . blah!

As of today, the updated system for micro-upgrades has gone live in Tanki Online. Now, improving the parameters of your turrets, hulls and paints is simpler, while speeding up the upgrades is more affordable.

• I like that the number of micro-upgrade steps has been standardised.

• I don't like that I no longer have control over the parameters to upgrade - I liked to choose what I upgrade, based on what I perceived to be the most limiting aspect of my tank at the time.

• I don't like that I didn't know this was going to occur - if so I would have concentrated on maxing out one parameter in preparation for the change.

This update took this to the whole new level expensiveness. I am not sure if I will be able to MU my stuff, as we r being forced to MU other parts which we consider not so important to MU. I have a protection against Isida for my Taiga paint 37% and increasing it by 1 previously costed me around 13K and now I have to pay 40k or 42k for only increase in one paramater. (maybe I will post a screenshot later sometime)

Well said, this is pretty much how I feel. For some time now I've logged on to play the daily missions and maybe stayed for an extra battle or two, but no more than that. 

Agreed - for all the same reasons.

 

With so many M4's out there now, I see no point in continuing to play. Without a garage of M4 equipment it will be so much harder to be competitive, and with the micro upgrades being so expensive, that's just not going to happen.

I found the game becomes less fun at higher, maxed-out ranks - less differentiation ... kinda bland and uninteresting.

 

 

I believe this steamy two tone version of Tanki will slowly slide down the log flume when Tanki-X is released, and with very little chance of moving our equipment over to the new version, there is no way in hell I'm going to start over again from scratch. I hate to think what devious plans they will throw at us when that kicks off. I'm getting out while the going is good.

 

Like you said in your post, I will also log in now and again to see how this progresses, but it's time to move back over to            "The Hunter", and probably also give "War Thunder" a try.

War Thunder seems quite nice the little I played yesterday.  Big initial download, but great graphics and interesting gameplay.

Guess that's where I will be mostly as well :)

All o none update takes away the right to choose from the players.Owner of tank should have the right to choose which parameters to upgrade.I also got freebees got 100% off on m2 smoky but that does not make it ok to take away my choice of upgrade.An off the topics its in tanki only that i find MODs really arrogant and always in trolling mode and treating feedback givers as free bee seekers i have spent real money and good sum in tanki and just because you are mods does not give you right to troll.

This micro-upgrade change is the most stupid change ever.Because of this stupid update micro-upgrades completely lost purpose  so now you can remove them from game so they don't annoy players.I will quit playing this ruined game soon although it was good game once.

This change is good and sucks too. On the one hand it makes upgrading your tank a little easier but in my case I have  hull now stuck at 50/50 until I can save 100000 crystals to jump from M0 to M2, because M1 is not an option anymore. A little unfair for those of us who have used 1 primary tank setup for most of the game and have a few 'extra' options we've been slowly building. :(

Im pissed off, i was upgrading my reload and my damage and my range parameters, if i had just ignored those two parameters tanki are telling me that i would have got m4? Saved 400k and now still i have to pay even more crystals for the same turret while others don't? 

 

This better be changed, or this game won't remain popular anytime soon, of course the revenue won't change, so why should they care? If a game has 100k daily players and 50k of those players either spend little or no money at all, as long as the paying 50k remain, its all good, moth after month you are increasing the expenditure i have to pay for the same product, tanki already has a parent company, so why do they need more profit? I don't get it

 

Whoever is in charge of the marketing and economics sector of the game needs to be sacked, period, they are not doing any of the other developers any favors, the issue is lying clearly IN FRONT OF YOU and you refuse to do ANYTHING about it, seriously!

If i knew this earlier then i was to Fully MU my mammoth m2 speed to get a fully mammoth m2 after this update

 

They were supposed to declare their plan, some people were lucky in getting good tanks by fully Muing one parameters, and some  didn't spend any step on any MU.

 

Beside, now the MUs cost too much, nobody will be willing to MU anymore than saving for kits or discounts.

This update i good and BAD too.The good thing is the slow down cost is low but .....The...Freaking cost is too MUCH ! This update should BE BALANCED ! or many tankers will not be able to MU their tanks properly . DO SOMETHING  !

They have blocked my main account USA-POWER in the excuse of account transfer after I let one of my friends to try titan m3, while i have paid more than 800 dollars on it. They thought they can make buyers spend more money by blocking their accounts then opening new accounts

I am never going to trust this game anymore nor its developers. We need to direct a global warning to  people not to invest their money on such scam sites !
