Note:  The Last MU apparently, 50 that is, is a loving, joyous, and warm call for celebration from the nice people at Tanki as it appears to be cost free, so fly little bird, fly.

Now, Using the OLD M3 upgrade chart, max stats (ignoring time in all this, just cost)

-                   Dam              Dam                                  Imp                Rchrg            Rot                 Pen               TOTAL

So okay, players get the Shaft in terms of Crystal . . . (Har har har, I know), by the tune of 80,089 crystals.

Yeah, this is going to be a huge hang up for non buyers I suppose, and 80G for buyers is still probably hefty.

This new "update" is so bull.It takes off all the fun to upgrade only specific stats.I like to boost RAILGUNS damage most.

Now, Using the OLD M3 upgrade chart, max stats (ignoring time in all this, just cost)

-                   Dam              Dam                                  Imp                Rchrg            Rot                 Pen               TOTAL

Scp              Arcade                             Force            Rate              Speed             Power          Cost

So okay, players get the Shaft in terms of Crystal . . . (Har har har, I know), by the tune of 80,089 crystals.

Yeah, this is going to be a huge hang up for non buyers I suppose, and 80G for buyers is still probably hefty.

Only a 10% increase? (80 000 crystals versus 73 000 crystals for total costs to micro-upgrade) :O

Ok, I should quit complaining then...

This new "update" is so bull.It takes off all the fun to upgrade only specific stats.I like to boost RAILGUNS damage most.

Yeah, it takes the strategy out of budgeting a balance between power upgrade and cost. I have a low-grade alt acc so I could play around with Thunder-M0. I maxed out the Damage and Reload. It took a few days for the upgrades to take place. Afterwards I had enough left over for a Wasp and Swamp paint. It was pretty fun! Got one-shotted a lot, but still got some shots in. It was a nice feeling to have found key parameters to upgrade without needing to spend so much just to get an edge.

Sooo.....you're telling me that if I had upgraded reload on my railgun 3 more times, spending 9333 crystals, I would have an m2 railgun in my garage right now?

Oh but instead, I have to spend 96,100 on it, or else finish muing it 31 more times with this new update.

I'd rather not waste crystals on the parameters I don't need or want to spend crystals on.

For instance, I dont't want to spend crystals on the rotation speed of my fire, or the penetration power of rail, or the arcade damage for shaft, or the range for thunder. The update is just forcing non-buyers (in this case non-speed up users like me) to spend more crystals making us eventually buy them and spend money, something I vowed not ot do on computer games. Don't you get enought money w/ premium? And it would make people more likely to buy crystals if you, say, offered more premium days for cry pacages.

1. No problem with supplies, except that they're essentially necessary to deal with saboteurs/mults and hackers since most of those cheaters cannot afford to buy supplies and almost all cheaters only play for free (not meaning that most who play for free cheat).

2. I don't know much about promoting clans since I am not in one, but you may have a point.

3. Sabateurs/mults and hackers are what should be first dealt with next since they ruin the game the most...

4. Only once #3 above is properly dealt with for at least 6 months, should supplies have their costs drastically increased.

5. All nationalities now (recently) have their costs unified, except if you pay in the Russian rubles, unfortunately, but that makes sense.

,,,though your first two sentences I completely agree with!

Errrmm mate you are saying that 'drugs are essentially necessary to deal with saboteurs/mults' I completely disagree, most of them either use flying hacks or teleporting hacks and I don't know about you but it's pretty hard to hit a flying tank with a railgun or shaft or what ever, also it's pretty obvious that drugs ruin the game, nearly every single game I play they have druggers in them and when ever my team is winning and we deserve that win guess what they do? they put their drugs on and they charge into your base and I am pretty much the only one defending because I see the threat and at the end of the game we loose and barely make 100 crystals.....It has gotten so bad now that i have to drug as well to counter-act the enemy druggers and trust em in the enemy team there are usually 3 or 4 druggers who obvious bought their way to that rank since they have m2s and a good paint but don't know how to turn their turrets and it's just not fair I mean what's the point on even playing a battle anymore? you hardly make any crystals and you are usually frustrated at the end of the match..... I mean I know that my opinion largely doesn't matter because hey who listens to a person who has very good experience in this game and says the truth? .-. I mean you try to win a match where there are a bunch of buyers with drugs and try to win... also for the "Oh buy a pro-pass and go adn play pro-battles" well for that I say that what's the point? you waste 5k and at the end all you get is some XP/BP matches and I don't know about you guys/girls but XP/BP get's boring after a while...

I hate this update. I only wanted to upgrade protection and damage. To do so now will cost a million crystals.

Well sorry, I'm not going to spend a penny on this game and they will probably change it again anyway.

I've seen a Thunder hit a jump hack and Smoky seems to have no problem with them.

No, they rarely use those hacks anymore.

And since I almost never use the guns you mentioned, I haven't noticed that. The gun I mostly use has almost no problems shooting the hackers, unless they use artificial lag or artificial freeze.

Oh, plus I turn my turret and if against a freezer or fire dude who is trying to circle me, I also move my hull.

What they instead use is artificial lag and artificial freeze hacks (how else do you explain their team still capturing flags and control points and TDMing DMing you while they (and their team?) are not affected? Hmmm...

Why no ones solves my questions? microupgrading a thing will be the same as a upgrading it for m0 to m1 or m1 to m2???

Yes. But the way it is now it isn't worth it. Before you could do a full MU on Damage first (along with another parameter like reload, or burn time, or Critical Damage, etc. depending on the turret) and see a difference. You can still fight your battles effectively while taking your time to upgrade the lesser parameters.

The way it is now, you won't see a difference until you reach about 50% overall MU, and at the same time it would not cost-effective.

This is not a good change. It takes control away from Tankers in terms of how we spend our crystals. Many times I don't want to upgrade certain parameters because it's not necessary. For example, if I have a large hull, I typically won't upgrade it's protection, but I would upgrade it's speed. Now I am forced to upgrade ALL characteristics AND PAY A HEFTY CRYSTAL PRICE.

In my opinion, this is a financial strategy for the makers of Tanki; this change will coerce Tankers into purchasing more crystals, more often. This is the same strategy employed with Premium Accounts.

More and more, Tanki is becoming all about how much you pay; not your skill level or having FUN! I'm sorry to say that if this strategy continues, I will no longer be a Tanker.

FogOfWarXXX answered it near the top of page 23 in great detail.

In essence, if his calculations are correct, this new version of micro-upgrading will cost us 10% more overall than the previous version of micro-upgrading.

Perhaps, however my point was that my "point 5" is not your "point 1" and so I proved it. And also, I mentioned that Alternativa Platform is way greedier and what not that Klei. I have not seen Alternativa Platform developers do what Klei did. Ever.

I proved otherwise.

My feelings exactly. I hope this backfires on Tanki and Tankers stop making micro updates; stop purchasing crystals. I for one, will not spend another dime with Tanki; I won't upgrade my tank and when it gets to a point that my tank is no longer competitive, I'll just retire as a Tanker!

it is like to force people to pay MU things they dont want in paint,

like railgun protection in Emerald paint,

like before, people can only mu Freeze max damage, now they are forced to pay for other parameters when they want to mu.

of course, good for people have all garage items and and mu-ed fully on 1 parameters already.

Yes, good initially, but a rip-off in the long run. Shame on Tanki!

poor, really poor update !

how i can update only single parameter of my tank, my paint!?? I dont wanna all the parameters , only single. e.g. paint: savanna - full mu protection against rail. which i did . Now i have to spend in one way many thousands crystals instead of before, earning in daily games and missions and enough to upgrade paint and some turrets.
In this way TO is provoke us to buy more crystals in one time :))

Other problem is that with this update, TO try to equal all players . After buyers and non-buyers have same m4 tanks and paints , buyers will move to TANKI X and starts buying there , cause of human nature .

For me, there will be no movement into TANKI X , quite enough of this for one year game . in my case after TO close or no longer interesting of me( after series of silly updates)

I want to take a moment to thank Tanki for this ridiculous, money-hungry update. With these type of changes, I will slowly but surely stop playing Tanki. That frees up hours of my life to do more important things. Sure, I'll lose a lot of joy because I love playing this game. Sad to say, sometimes it's the highlight of my day. Anyway, good things don't last forever. Best of luck, Tankers!
