Changes to micro-upgrades

Whoever had one parameter upgraded to the max just before this update came up got lucky. Most users upgrade only specific parameters (basically damage, special damage, reload, and protection) and don't care for the rest. They can live with slightly upgraded less-than-perfect equipment but it was modified by the users own specifications to compliment their style and skill. They don't need to max out a weapon to next level specs to be effective. With only a slight adjustment and patient practice, they are able to hold their own.

This is the beginning of the end for micro-upgrading unless they bring back the option for separate parameters.

I don't see many (if any) micro-upgrading in a bundle starting from 0.

Sorry, but really bad update.Who cares about increasing my hunter's mass? I don't need to increase its mass,I just was planning to upgrade its speed and HP. Same goes to my rail's reload speed...come on,it only makes 1 sec difference between full upgraded and non-upgraded reload speed

Mark, Tanki just figured out how to upset smart, thinking players. I also don't care for some parameters beyond a certain point.

What an attack on common sense!!!!

I feel insulted. Bad, bad, bad update

The update that added score caps to battles was bad enough, and left a very bad taste in my mouth, but I thought: "whatever, you can still play, it's just extremely annoying." But now? Now I feel raw contempt for the people in charge of this game.

It is a really bad update. I am a non-buyer; I never bought crystals. I am good to maintain and micro-upgrade my Smoky, Firbird, Hornet and Titan (all M1 standard at this moment) and a few paints. Of cource, I do not upgrade all parameters of the weapons. I upgrade those I think they are useful for my style. Like, I upgrade the range of Firbard but I don't care the rotation speed; I want my Hornet to have better protection but I think the speed is good enough to capture a flag; I may want my Titan can run a bit faster but the protection is good enough so that I can leave it with just upgraded 3 steps. I can save a lots by upgrading selected parameters but not all. With this new upgrad system it is too expensive to do further steps of micro-upgrade. I really feel upset of it.

anyone can tell me if i no upgrade my railgun m1 till 50/50 can I get discount on m2 or not .lol  i  use almost 40k upgrade my rail m1 till 20/50 only and i speed it .lol pls tell me answer

As we know at this moment, only fully upgrade an item will give you discount (100%, that is: free) on the next modification of the same item. I don't see 20/50 will bring you any discount and I believe to do the rest of the 30/50 MU will cost you a lot, I would say: too much. Better check the Wiki (it is just updated) for the price and compare with buying a new item. Sorry, I don't have time to check it out for you.

I don't understand the following questions, please answer them and reply them to me:

-so if I was to have m2 railgun then if i fully micro-upgrade it, the discount for m3 becomes 100% and I just need to unlock to buy it for free right?

-Which cost more crystals, fully micro-upgrading the m2 railgun (No instant cost) or just buying the m3 railgun if I was to unlock it?

If I had just started playing tanki now, I simply wouldn't have bothered to continue playing it. This new upgrade removes the most interesting part of the game. I feel like I have wasted a lot of time, and feel worse for the people who have wasted dollars.

This is exactly how I feel--along with the contempt for the company I mentioned earlier. I have desperately needed a motivation to focus on real life instead of playing tanki every evening after work. Now I have one.

Although I do feel insulted, I would not say I feel contempt. Buy, boy are they transparent!

First question: Yes. You now may either have no discount (not fully upgrade yet, even 49/50) or free (fully upgrade = 50/50).

Second question: you may now go to Wiki to check the micro-upgrade section. There are price lists and you can compare. I guess buying is cheaper than fully-upgrade.

All of them, as far as I know. Maybe not all, but close :)

Then you better check the price list in the micro-upgrade section in Wiki and come back here to tell us is there really any item we better fully upgrade than buying it.

I personally enjoyed this one, it saves the time we spend on these and keeps it simple. Good job.

I personally enjoy only taking Ensure for every meal, it save the time we spend and keeps it simple.

I hope you're a major buyer, because that simplicity now comes at a staggering cost in crystals--a forced, not chosen, cost.

Of course, you're obviously a troll, but whatever.

Not good, we must invest crystals for upgrade of something what we dont want to update. It is more expensive now. By the paints it is not possible to increase protection against all turrets together or choose some of them. F.e. by Piccaso in second step of MU its possible only increase the protection only by 2 from 4 paints.  We cannot chose whitch of them we want to upgrade.

Exactly

So basically if we want oranges we are forced to pay for the peanuts too - and by the way, we dont care for peanuts!!!

And people actually seem pleased with this new state of affaris. Unbelievable.

Well it wouldn't be the dev team we have come to love if they didn't roll out an utterly useless and pathetic update.

Why should I be forced to spend crystals on tank weight, turret rotation e.t.c when all I want is more damage?

Atleast one at a time it didn't feel like I was being ass raped with all the crystals it cost, Now at 16k to micro ugrade from 27/50 to 28/50 is pathetic I won't be micro upgrading a damn thing.

there is a quote I like, a little famous and highly appropriate.

IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT

Tanki Online has just become a game exclusively for the wealthy

Can someone confirm this

Tanki Online has become a game exclusively for the very wealthy.

It would be interesting to find out how many of ts current players qualify.

Or perhaps Tanki is now only interested in very new players - perhaps up to First Sergeant.
