Then you better check the price list in the micro-upgrade section in Wiki and come back here to tell us is there really any item we better fully upgrade than buying it.

Sorry, I made a mistake. I mixed up the MU prices for different modifications  I'm really sorry :(

Tanki Online has become a game exclusively for the very wealthy.

It would be interesting to find out how many of ts current players qualify.

Or perhaps Tanki is now only interested in very new players - perhaps up to First Sergeant.

I buy sporadically because I am not wealthy.

HORRIBLE UPDATE!!! I think so because everything got WAYY more expensive now. I personally, like to upgrade railgun's DAMAGE and it's DAMAGE ONLY!!! Pretty much this is wasting my crystals on things that i DON'T WANT!!! PLEASE GIVE US A CHOICE ON WHICH SYSTEM WE GET TO USE !!!!!!!!!

This update is how things should be.  Tanki has learned the lessons I think needed to make changes and keep people happy.  Sure, they might take a little hit on some players with full MU's, but you know what, WE'RE damn stoked and happy.  I went in, saw my shaft and my hornet and I was like "WHAT?!".  Seriously, this rocks, I got a little something for the troublesi n the changes, squared away, taken care of.  No complaints, no issues, no whining, but simple fair treatment of players who played, purchased, and planned as they should within the paradigms presented.  Those get changed, no worries, they took care of you.

If Tanki keeps this up, all the woes of the past will likely be forgotten, this was GRADE A classy treatment of it's members.  Good job staff and devs, and not so much for the technical deployment, you guys generally get it right the first time, it's the soft skills and player impact that is the real win this time.

Alternate universe, huh?

Reality can be so illusive.

This morning I woke up in a new world. When I took my car to the gas stations to fill the tank with $20 of gas, I was told that I have also to change the oil and coolent and all 4 tires and I had to pay $1000 and wait for 3 hours. If I don't like it, I can leave my car with an empty tank.

Apt analogy

This upgrade has ruined any campaign or strategy appeal that Tanki still had.  The original Tanki had strategy, where you could plan how to upgrade, and had to carefully plan how to use your resources.  Then in-battle upgrading degraded that aspect of the game.  This upgrading all characteristics at the same time RUINS any chance to, as the panels say, "find your own playing style".  Tanki is now MUCH LESS APPEALING.  Please return to the separate micro-upgrading of individual capabilities.

Fewer choices for players is never an improvement.  I don't understand why anyone would think this is a good idea!

It is a really bad update. I am a non-buyer; I never bought crystals. I am good to maintain and micro-upgrade my Smoky, Firbird, Hornet and Titan (all M1 standard at this moment) and a few paints. Of cource, I do not upgrade all parameters of the weapons. I upgrade those I think they are useful for my style. Like, I upgrade the range of Firbard but I don't care the rotation speed; I want my Hornet to have better protection but I think the speed is good enough to capture a flag; I may want my Titan can run a bit faster but the protection is good enough so that I can leave it with just upgraded 3 steps. I can save a lots by upgrading selected parameters but not all. With this new upgrad system it is too expensive to do further steps of micro-upgrade. I really feel upset of it.

The noobest (currently) turrets.

First question: Yes. You now may either have no discount (not fully upgrade yet, even 49/50) or free (fully upgrade = 50/50).

Second question: you may now go to Wiki to check the micro-upgrade section. There are price lists and you can compare. I guess buying is cheaper than fully-upgrade.

1- yes

2a- yes

2b- yes, waiting till you have the crystals to upgrade without mini-upgrading, is cheaper than mini-upgrading

5. Or have the game go down the drain (because at this point it's practically inevitable) and have the game rebooted. Made so that it starts off with a kick-starter that asks for donations, so you pay the developers to actually support them and the game they're working on and not so that you can get an advantage over other players. That way the developers won't get greedy and players won't be spending a lot of money for the sake of having better equipment. Therefore, having no purchase methods for crystals and so each earns in battles enough crystals to purchase things without the need of a crystal boost. How did this option not occur to you?

Only humility/repentance on the part of owners/management can save TO now

I agree, grudgingly I admit, but I agree.

But we should not have to get maintenance done EVERY TIME to our vehicle EVERY TIME we fill up with fuel! (unrealistic)

Something tells me that unless the user had 70% or over in parameters when the new MU was implemented, overall the MU'ing has come to a complete stop.

Yes, P-Shooter - something like that.

Short-sightedness!!! Or as someone else said, "severe tunnel vision" - or both.

What a waist of developers' time and skill !!

I'm happy that my arsenal is much improved, but at the same time I think this is a problem for game balance. Before, I could upgrade only the parameters that were important for me- damage on Shaft, reload speed on Thunder, etc. Now, you have to pay for the other steps too, which jacks up the price considerably. Things like rotation speed and critical chance aren't important, and being forced to pay for those on future micro upgrades isn't very economical. This means that you'll have to pay more to get the same improvement to useful parameters, which leaves non-buying players at a disadvantage.

We'll have to see how this plays out in the long run, but I suspect that Premium users will become considerably more powerful- 200% crystals means that they can sink more money into micro-upgrades, and a large number of them buy crystals anyway, so they can afford top notch equipment.

The noobest (currently) turrets.

Yes, and they are the cheapest. I saved up to buy the Keeper kit for Smoky M1 and Titan M1. I bought Firebird M1 in a sale. As a non-buyer this is what I can do but I am doing quite okay in battles, at least I don't finish last.

Correction: my Hornet is still a M0, not M1. I made the mistake in the original post.

This has dumbed down the micro upgrade system.  Why have different paramaters (range, damage, recharge, etc) if you upgrade all at once?  This is a simplification which eliminates an element of tank customisation.

Exactly

Railgun m0 full MU cost: 62750 crystals

Railfun m1 cost: 31400 crystals

Railgun m1 full MU cost: 192000 crystals

Railgun m2 cost: 96100 crystals

Railgun m2 full MU cost: 436500 crystals

Railgun m3 cost: 218300 crystals

THE MU COST IS LITERALLY DOUBLE OF THE NEXT MODIFICATION!!!! SO IS IT WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!?

TANKI GIVES FREE M4S TO SOME AND LOOTS THE OTHERS. TANKI YOU ARE GONNA HAVE LESS PLAYERS FROM NOW ONWARDS. NICE WAY OF HIDING THE SERVER LOAD BY REMOVING THE GRAPH
