Changes to micro-upgrades

No matter how much this update is disliked it won't be changed, Because TO dev's won't admit they made a mistake.

 

 If you want to make a difference the simple solution is find a new game, hit tanki where it hurts and stop playing. unfortunately we are all sheep so the chances of that happening are slim to none.

 

fingers crossed TO don't keep $#@%ing this game up with pathetic updates in the future, but that also has the chance of slim to none because these dev's don't have a clue.

Or just keep playing. Just let them wonder why nobody is micro-upgrading anymore.

I was going to complain about your anti-drugging post UNTIL I read the part of it that I have since enlarged and bolded and coloured.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has noticed this and become frustrated by both modes of cheating (hacking and sabotaging/multing)...

I thing it has no sence to complain here about this update because nothing will happend. I spend a lot of hours to make the ideal strategy for me and my own playing style. I count with updating of some hulls and turret parameters or paint protection against some turrents according arenas where Im playing. And now it was only wasting of my time. Thanks TANKI!! I have no possibylity to MU that parameters that are important for me. Im an occasional buyer, but now you lose my trust that TO will be fair and funny game in the future. I will not invest my money in the play what is going to be worst. Now I exhaust the rest of my supply and bye..

 

On the other hand.. Then I can spend more time with my family, workout or something what has more sence as TO.

 

Some months or weaks ago I realy enjoyed the playing TO. I was able to optimize my equipment and play how I wanted.. thanks for this nice time..

 

But now?? With the daily mission we are pushed to play unfavoured arenas or game modes to get some supply, we lost the possibylity to optimize our equipment according our self. And todays MU are so expensive that it is not possible to achieve some meaningful level..

And for the giving the advantage to some players with giving a fully MU M3 (M4) eqiupment I have no words.. Other players are not able to achieve with todays conditions and leave the game as other disappoint players.

 

It is realy not fanny what you have done and are doing now..

But there are several planes of existence in tanki that everyone should be aware of. There is the regular one where lots of us don't cheat whatsoever and live out regular career, then there are those who drug more than half the time, then there are those who mindlessly drug all the time, then there are those m4 teams who play together, then there are those m4 teams that communicate, then there are those who do all that and use lag cheats so you can't stop them from waltzing in and taking the flag, and on top of all of that, they place mults on your side. They then laugh at you when you lose, which, let me tell you, isn't a happy feeling.

 
Why bother reporting these players when nothing ever happens to them or mods blame it on regular lag all the time? It's clear to me that players use lag switch hacks and use them at crucial times in the game. This means we're left shooting shadows and chasing ghosts, inflicting no damage whatsoever and before you can say aide moi, they've captured the flag and are laughing at you. Funny how these lag switch users don't exhibit this laggy behaviour when they're not attacking or in danger. Lag cheats such as these display all kinds of weird and wonderful characteristics and when the physics of the game seem to be broken, for example, a player levitating upside down in some sort of anti-gravitational state, you know there is something amiss. (see video)
 
They also use self righting hacks to flip themselves back upright when they know they're going belly-up, very good trick if you can pull it off using a firebird! You really can't win. Cheats are rife and I think I'm able to spot them by now, so if by some reason these guys are not cheating then this game broken as well as unaffordable.

So to recap, not only is it unaffordable to micro upgrade now, there is no guarantee cheats and laggers won't spoil any investments you make in this broken and dying game.

As a wasp I am pretty familiar with effects where I look like hopping on my side on my friends screen, while I am just on the side and try to shot myself up. This happens a lot and is usualy server or connection lag.

Yeah, I know about the glitches and how things can appear differently for multiple players but I was communicating with 2 other players in this battle and we now think it's better to shoot the space instead of the player :blink: . This doesn't happen all the time but when raiding parties are struggling to overcome us by conventional means, these tactics are employed quick enough.

 

Didn't Arabianobel get blocked for something similar but in his defense, he could at least say he had an impact weapon. Can't say that for the firebird here.

 

Notice what I wrote at 1:04 in the video. As soon as I say, "you self righting hackers are all out tonight", what do we see?

Bro, me too I'm like you right now.... I've spent a lot of time in this game and this cause my studies to crash down( I was the no 1 in my school, honestly).... I was depressed  this , and i nearly commit suicide :( This year is my last year of playing this game then I'll go back to my darling fiurst MMO game... Next year, i'll be there on forum but not in the game.... Adios Tanki Online... BTW, one MMO game I proposed you is Plazma Burst 2 :) Awesome game....

Just to be sure, my Thunder M1 is fully upgraded but I am brigadier. So cannot get M2 yet for free until I reach the right level. Is the Thunder M1 fully upgraded equally strong on all points as the zero upgraded M2?

Actually Thunder M2 is not that strong then. My firebird M1 (44 out of 50 towards M2) kills a whole lot more!

 

By the way, what is the meaning of waiting for a rank in case of having it fully upgraded. If it's the same anyway....

I'm seeing these things for half a year. The hack is not easy to spot, you need to watch them closely for a longer period of time.

They started to appear just after the turret-hitbox update. I remember how easy it was with Shaft to flip players when you shot their turret. I occasionally ran into these hackers who turned back on their tracks out of nowhere, exactly the kind of way shown in your video.

 

That self-rightening isn't lag caused by the game server. At one time I tried to flip a hacker who was in the same team in some random parkour battle. Well, after 20+ shots with instant self-rightening, I didn't saw it as ordinary lag anymore.

 

I have no idea if the game is aware of this, but I'm thankfull that you've posted the video here; that's clear evidence. I always thought I were the only one seeing these hacks. From my view, I never hear the mods about it.

Well that pretty much sums it all up.

It now takes me a week to earn enough crystals to do 1 upgrade. Where as before I could do several of the important ones per week.  Well I guess it's like most companies that offer a package deal, you may get a few good things but have to take the crap nobody buys too.

Tanki will just price themselves right out of the market, and then out of business.

 

 

As for the lag cheaters, I agree 100% that they are used a lot more then people realize. The lag always seems to occur at the most convenient times. They always seems to be used by the same kinds of players. Everyone has seen them, they are the ones that must win at all costs. They usually start with the mindless drugging, cap all the flags even when the teams are extremely unbalanced, travel in packs, use mults, use sabotage, and when all that doesn't work out come the cheats. Well I guess it would be safe to assume that they have not been raised with any sense of morals or honour and we shouldn't expect anything more from them.

Yes. Fully upgraded M(x) = zero upgrade M(x+1), x=0,1,2

 

It is strange. If you are a Brigadier, you should be able to own M3. You may get M2 for free with a fully upgraded M1, then you need to buy M3 with full price, unless you fully upgrade M2.

I can see Tanki can afford/willing to lose a certain number of players and make a certain players stop investing money in this game with the new update. That means Tanki is counting on their “good” buyers and these buyers really pay a lot and will pay more. Would they invest double or even triple under the new MU system ? I really don’t know. Just curious.

What I am thinking is that if someone wants the players to feel that their tanks are not good (upgraded) enough, they put in teams of look-a-like-cheaters into battles. After the players are banded up badly in the battles, they go to their garage and start MU their tanks, and later start putting money. Furthermore, this can also make the player side earn less crystals in battles.

 

These people could just be some kids from next door, just simply by giving them fully upgraded tanks (may be even more than fully upgraded) and some cheat codes. They can have lots of fun with this.

It means that when your tank has any amount less than a full upgrade, that instead of [further] micro-upgrading it you instead wait till the next rank that'll allow you to fully upgrade it to the next full level.

The self-righting I've also noticed and those incidents have drastically increased since last week's 3 hours delay due to an update.

I never mentioned that type of hack cuz it's not as bad as the artificial lag one OR the one where the flag you've stolen suddenly is dropped from you when you never dropped it and you did not lag, then immediately it's recovered by an enemy tank.

 

Because of the ridiculous amount of hacking and sabotaging in this game now, even when I do have enough spare money again I will refuse to invest any more money into this game...

When I type certain specific accusations about their hacking I constantly get booted from the game, sometimes not even being able to reload into the game. Oh, plus while I'm then unavailable, their team distances themselves in score from my team so that either they then start winning or start winning by a large margin.

And when I come back in again and drug (yeah, I drug when they cheat via hacking/sabotaging/drugging-first), they boot me out again...

Actually, I've constantly noticed the opposite.

Everything you mentioned I constantly noticed, except that their mindless drugging would only start after everything was first tried and not being successful enough at. Constantly drugging (a legal activity) seems to be their last resort after all their other options (the illegal activities) are either failing or aren't giving them as much success as they wanted.

And their illegal activities only seem to start when the other team isn't losing as bad as the cheaters want.

For example:

- when both teams start playing fair AND also neither side uses drugs, the cheating team will start using sabotage/nonplayersontheotherteam (if they haven't already) when their team isn't winning enough

- then players like me counter their illegal cheating by players like me then legally drugging

- so then their players not only sabotage your team and hack your team (or just you, since that appears to be a hack option now), they then will also drug but they'll drug more frequently than you do

 

*** when first their nondrugging legal  methods fail, then their illegal nondrugging methods fail, and then their illegal nondrugging methods and added legal drugging methods fail, they pull out their last major cheat...they get you kicked from the battle

 

This cheating method drastically increased with the MU over 3 hours update of last week!

Because of that, I refuse to put any more money into Tanki until they sufficiently improve the game and the competition...!!!!!
