Bug/issue on fully upgraded items?

 Share

Recommended Posts

I am Brigadier and have a fully upgraded Thunder M1. So now should be able to buy M2 for free and start upgrading to M3. But nowhere there is the option to buy M2 for free.

  • If I click "upgrades" then it shows M1 50/50, so nothing I can do.
  • In the normal window top-right, I can only buy M3 at full price

Is this a bug/issue as a result of changing to the new MU system?

@ TO; are you working on this to get it resolved?

thats because you have reached a rank which you can buy m3

Exactly. As stated above, you fully micro-upgraded your M1, so you can get the M2 version for free, but since your rank is high enough to directly buy the M3 version, you are forced to save up a bit more crystals and then buy it.

You will go from M1 straight to M3 by paying only the step-price for M3.

Thank guys, glad with the help and finally having this cleared.

But as a consequence, then I am forced to spend 186.200 in one go.

This is a kind of disadvantage for me right?

I mean, as long as I do not upgrade to M3 in one go, anybody with a (even very little) upgraded M2 will be stronger than me.

What would be the reason for not allowing to me to buy + upgrade the M2?

(I mean outside of the rank, what is the way of thinking for this)

It is a disadvantage for what concern fighting with an M1 Thunder untill you can afford the M3 version, but few weeks ago the Devs implemented a new system for upgrading items' modifications: Growing your arsenal is now easier!

The above mentioned system lets you save thousands of crystals when upgrading modifications, thus giving you a valid advantage that balances out the previous disadvantage :)

Hello Issho,

OK - then 2 final questions, and thanks for sharing the link, now I understand better;

  • The TO events of sometimes offering discounts on hulls and/or MU's, is still applicable right? Because then I better wait until Christmas time...I haven't seen those on MU for quite some time now which is why I'm asking.
  • And secondly, I think I know the answer but is the cost for a 50/50 upgrade exactly the same amount as when buying it at once? (So M0 50/50 upgraded costs exactly the same as having M0 and buying M1 instantly)

Thanks again.... B)

  1. All discounts still apply to the actual system - discounts will be added in Game when needed and actual items' prices will change accordingly :) Example: You want to buy a Product Kit with some items which are also included in a currently going sale --> when you go to buy it you will see that the price of the Kit has changes (lowered) since the sale affects the price of each item in the Kit, thus giving you an even cheaper Kit.
  2. No, it is more expensive, but could be worth it if you are slow on ranking up and reaching ranks to unlock stronger modifications yet you still want to be competitive. Check this page on our Wiki for more info: Micro-upgrades.
