I've always wanted to try Free running... or even Parkour...

yeah I think parkour is more fun for me but I started out doing free running, I think I'm starting to do more parkour now as opposed to free running.

yeah I have a light build and I'm quite fit from years of playing badminton 2 hours 5 days a week so I'm the right build and fitness for parkour, :D

Haha I've been skinny and light for MOST of my life. I do a lot of working out, running, stretching, all that stuff... but I guess it doesn't help if you don't really have a lot of muscle mass...

But hey I can do some flips and whatnot! I'll have to jump into some Freerunning.

Lol but here are the reasons you shouldn't :P https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEs9zmF-Fwk

But that video is not what it says it is, most of those were free running fails, I prefer parkour.  Free running is doing lots of flips and vaults and jumps to look cool, parkour is the art of overcoming obstacles in the fastest and most effective way possible, using vaults and jumps but no useless flips or spins, if you're a parkourist and you get to a vent that would look cool to vault over you'd just keep on running right past it, a free runner might vault on and do a flip off the other side.  Parkour is often defined as a non-combative martial art, and was developed by a frenchman from military assault courses.

As I said...

I'm known for being a nerd...

Idk why but I just do that anyway, if someone asks a question I just answer the best I can, mostly I'm not trying to be nerdy.

I can't help it if I know alot I just do...

totally agree, i do parkour myself but im REALLY heavy - not fat - heavy, even tho im just 13 i have alot of muscle weight on my lats/back from martial arts that weighs me down alot but it also helps me climb up poles and wall more easily if i try not to use my arms. sometimes people ask me if i do parkour and they point somewhere and tell me to get there when i do they seem a like they thought it wasn't really impressive because i didn't do a back flip or something they say it isnt real skill lol. i explain that my goal was to get there, not to tell the world i did... and i succeeded they still dont really understand tho because to them im just a sporty kid lol

I've never heard of them .

I'm fast, not much else, so obviously I'm usually a wing-back or winger. I'm also tall, so sometimes I play in central defence, but I'm really not a defender, because I'm kinda a softie. My aggressiveness is nonexistent.

Wbu?

Lol, you sound just like my little brother. I play Mid left wing or goalie, Although I have played forward striker and I enjoy that. :)

I am a muscular person as I said. however I am oddly fast now that I think about it. (That's why I like football cus I can just mull over anyone I want too ) I can throw a football around 55 yards and at 14 that's not bad. well 55 yards accurately probably 60 65 for a Hail Mary. I don't Play for teams cus I want to be the Quarterback but I know I would get stuck with line backer or something cus I am strong and fast. IDK maybe I would get the QB gig but I don't wana play unless I am there. cause I know just about everything there is to know about coverage and zones and reads. so what should I do? try out or sit back and see what happens.
