Maybe homeschoolers just learned that money isn't worth it, I mean look at all the millioniares/billionaires that are drug addicts or alcoholics! Is that really worth wasting your life on?

So true.

yeah but it proves my point really well!

Yep :)

You keep speaking about money.. Looool Jesus.

Do you know what all biollionaires have in common? They think out of the box, and they all had a goal. If no billionaire is a home-schooler, then something is absolutely wrong with you people, you lack things that keep you going forward in life, remember, I'm not talking about money, but the billionaires are so much that it's ridiculous none of them was home-schooled.

Look at Donald Trump! I would hate to have his life! and like 9/10 of the millionaires/billionaires lead HORRID lives! That is why I would not want to be like them.

what good is being rich if you aren't happy? Tom Brady said after he got his 2nd super bowl ring that even with both rings, + being a REALLY rich guy, he still wasn't happy. I would rather be poor and happy than rich and unhappy.

As for your list, you do realize that popular home-schoolers are only a few hundreds at most, they're minority, and none of those on your list is a billionaire.

So? they just learned the importance of being happy rather than rich at a young age!

Man you know what, this argument is pointless, you'll figure out I'm correct later, you will obviously love home-schooling more because you have plenty of time on your hands, and you can play all day, and your life is just easy. When you grow up you'll regret being home-schooled.

I also have a job, and I am 14, so I think that you should just leave cus u have been rekt!

Would you want your entire social circle to be an illusion?

And let's say you are incredibly sociable, you are still a boring person, you have no events to speak about, no ideas, what will you speak about, the last online class you took?, regular schools are much more professional, not just for the social life, but for basically everything, so that scenario does definitely exist, if I was to decide, I'd actually ban homeschooling as a whole.

What I said might not make sense to you, but it actually does, there are some skills that you just can't get by homeschooling, one of them is the ability to be productive under stress, and etc. Etc.

*ahem* Sooo everyone who goes to public school has lots of friends and ideas and homeschoolers can't do anything? If you're a social person then you're a social person and if you're not then you're not. I'm homeschooled and even though I'm really not an extrovert I have quite a few close friends and also homeschoolers 1. Probably learn more and have a better curriculum and are SMARTER than public schoolers 2. Are able to make friends without having to see them 5 days a week 6 hours a day for twelve years and 3. Literally do the same things as public schoolers except we stay at home to do our schoolwork.

And if public school teaches you to be productive under stress it just means public schoolers are stressed all the time it literally makes no difference. You are insulting an entire community and making unfounded generalizations. Homeschoolers do have social lives, and just because we homeschool doesn't make us boring people. What do public schoolers have to speak about, the last English class they failed?

Just because people homeschool doesn't mean they have no lives. I have friends who go to public school and apparently all anyone cares about is who likes who and who's going out with who and to be honest, I fail to see how that is a useful "skill".

I'm not trying to insult public schoolers; I have several good friends in public school.

Personally, if public schoolers have no life outside of school I really don't see how it's more "professional".

And why would my entire social circle be an illusion? I think this statement would actually be more true for public schoolers because as soon as they aren't forced to spend time together at school, they're not necessarily going to stay friends...

Sorry for ranting, but your opinion really is quite ignorant.

Also there are billionaires who had rich parents and many rich, successful people are drop-outs because they had a vision and followed it, not because they were too stupid to continue school...

Well "Out of the box" is a relative term.

What may seem out of the box for everyone seems daily routine for me.

Out of the box is a wrong terminology here m8 bcoz homeschoolers actually can think more acutely about stuff that seems meagre or "daily" to us.

Albert Einstein was a complete vagabond in my opinion because he had so much time on his hands to think about light.

I mean come on...tell me do you ever think that the tube-light you just turned on took less than (1/299792458) seconds to actually reach your eyes?

No, right? But Einstein did that because he had "time" on his hands.

He even discovered that time is different for two people moving at different speeds.

Who even has the time to think about "time" of all things.

Only time I think about time is when I have to reach college.  <_< (facepalm)

Can't be productive under stress? You obviously don't know what you are talking about! No ideas? Where do you get this information? I have plenty of ideas and goals. I have plenty to speak about with my friends, we have lots of interesting discussions.

Wow, that's pretty rude. Have you ever been homeschooled? Do you have any basis for your accusations? I will probably not be a billionaire when I grow up. But you know what? I don't really care. I have things that matter much more to me then having a loaded bank account. Like family, friends, and my hobbies.

Wow this is where the intellect of this entire game lies and I didn't even know about it. -_-

I am not a homeschooler but I don't see why people should differentiate between the two methods of learning.

After all its education.

You guys could maybe start something like a weekly story article from every member? This would be a good read and needless to say TO Newspaper reporters could pick up some ideas from that. :D

Good Luck.

Hope you don't mind me posting here regularly.

My dad wants me to go to MIT and get an MD/PhD in computer science then start a computation biology startup then take over the world with my little robot drones....Or something like that.

I didn't say that, but if drop outs can be billionaires and home-schoolers can't, then there's obviously something wrong with homeschoolers. Which is something you figure out later in life.

Expertise, just... (excuse the language, ford and Gnat) shut the damn hell up. You clearly know NOTHING about the life of homeschoolers. We wake up, sometimes earlier than public schoolers do, eat breakfast, start homework until lunch, keep working until we finish, with only an occasional break in between.

I'm quite sure some of these were quite rich... but I'm too lazy to look it up.

Plus, if they weren't, it's not their fault, because there wasn't that much money, because everything was much cheaper. So, back then, they were pretty rich.
