Except in WoT non-buyers can easily compete against buyers...in TO, with the stupid OP supplies system, they can't.

In WoT there's really no competition with buyers vs. non buyers. You HONESTLY souldn't be able to tell the difference unless you saw a premium tank on the battlefield. It all comes down to the knowledge of the player in his tank, map awareness, knowing gun and armor capabilities, strategic plays based on the map and so on. Buying has little to do with anything in the game unless the player wants to make an extra profit, crew training experience, etc.

IDK, my dad usually does the work. But some people aren't legitly homeschooled (imho) cuz they go to a homeschool group.

I only come here every once in a while for one thing. I'm a member of this club, if you'd take a minute to look at the member's list on the front page. So please don't try to dictate to me that I shouldn't be here. :)

Secondly. I'm on the Forum. Not the game itself. There's somewhat of a difference.

Thirdly. There is absolutely nothing wrong with me expressing how I feel about this poor game in it's current stage; if anything, that's all I am doing. As the same with anyone; put your big boy pants on and suck it up. If ya don't like it, feel free to wait on the sideline until someone here starts up a discussion that interests you.

 

And if you don't want to "comment" on anything you find 'rude' in your mind from me, don't quote on it. That's a form of commenting. Don't play yourself. Thank you.

You can't blame Tanki for a different feature. Supplies are a part of the game.

That's just what I'm saying. I CAN blame Tanki for a different feature. Who's fault is it except Tanki's?   I'm allowed to blame Tanki for a terrible and useless feature to cover up their business inadequacy.

 

When you say supplies are part of the game, I respond, "yes, and the worst part of it too."  Supplies are part of the game and also part of the reason the game isn't as good as it could be and part of the reason most people quit.

at first I wasn't going to get involved but....... Meh. I'm in a love hate relationship with Tanki. I still love the game but I despise the devs for pretty much intentionally ruining it to shove us towards TX . Tanki for me was at its best last year (I was a WO1. Don't judgey horrible rank up speed) . Vulcan and Hammer had been introduced. I had bought my second M1 (Smoky) and was having the time of my life playing. For me TO was fun (I never got to experience was most people call "The Golden Age" of Tanki ,when you could climb a wall by yourself with Rico wasp and Canyon and Deck 9 where still around along with Moon Madness and Moon Silence and Silence 1 and 2 ) now I mostly just try to dodge huge buyers and play to complete missions

No, it's not trash. The big recent updates have been good and enjoyable.  You speak from a slightly biased point of view since you haven't been here for so long, naturally it takes a while to get used to the changes. I've been here for 4 years, playing this game on multiple accounts, and I've seen the progress they've made.

 

The only problems are

 

1. Mults, cheaters, saboteurs, etc.

 

2.Lag

 

3. Huge imbalance between buyers and non-buyers that make people quit.  *cough* terribly planned supplies system *cough*  No limit for MU'ing kits. *cough*

Thank you. Most of the updates everyone's been complaining about (balance changes, battle creation, etc.) weren't bad at all. I will admit I think this game's balance could improve and that the devs aren't getting it perfect, (*cough* firebird *cough* underpowered *cough*...)

but that's what happens. A turret is OP, then underpowered. It doesn't affect those people wise enough to save up with a pre-thought-out buying plan.

 

As we all know the game is much more fun on a computer without lag.

You use supplies, which I acknowledge is sadly encouraged by the game. But you must realize that supplies (better said as "imbalance between buyers and non-buyers") are the reason most people quit. (real life conflicts comes second).  Now, I am aware that many non-buying Legend players can save up enough to drug effectively, and that non-buyers get supplies from missions and stuff. However, most successful MMO's try to find the best balance between Buyers' power (obviously they need special stuff in return for money) and non-buyers happiness that keeps the game alive and with a large playerbase.

 

I don't mind them selling stuff like cool paints, premium hours, and kits in the shop. (People complain about kit buyers but drugging gives what, twice or three times the advantage?) In fact, I would be happy if the devs did more of that kind of stuff, giving rewards to buyers more as "prestige marks" and having a less disgusting effect on gameplay. The problem is with the terribly frustrating and pointless system of supplies.

 

Think: DD and DA are people's fav supplies, right? (No one presses 4 when they spawn :P)  If everyone uses DD and DA they're back where they started, having wasted supplies and no one better off for it.  Supplies are not tactical, they are overpowered. If TO re-vamped the supplies system and came up with more tactical supplies (ex. "faster reloading") and longer cooldowns, the use of supplies would tie in more with the strategic elements of the game.

Ya know, the one point you clowns continuously make that plagues this game is so laughable and outdated: Lag. We already know it's been a problem. Get over it and find another matter to pick at.

 

And do tell me, how is my argument biased? Cough it up bud. I've played this game just as long as you with ONE account (if we exclude the account I created when I was accepted as a Consultant so long ago). As if multiple accounts produce a different taste in your mouth. A bad apple's a bad apple. I've remained silent for far too long, enough is enough with this game and whoever wants to "support" it.

You may as well start a campaign and call it "Make Tanki Great Again!", the title looks great, but the ideals are past stupid.

"laughable and outdated"? Where did you get that? Lag isn't outdated, it is a major problem today. It isn't laughable when TO becomes Unplayable due to lag.  Saying "get over it" is the wrong attitude, and it doesn't help anything. This is a simple issue and has simple solutions.

 

And I don't go "find" another matter to pick at. I don't complain simply for the sake of complaining.

The devs brought that problem into effect on their own. If they hadn't tampered with the original system, labeling it as a "test", that issue wouldn't even exist in our minds.

 

 

Time's up too Ford. Do I really need to go find a mod and forcefully remove myself?
