Homeschoolers Club

Doesn't the description for this club say, "if you're a homeschooler, you can join" and nothing else? I mean, I get why Issho is ticked off, it's understandable, but the description pretty much states right there that randomness is going to be a really big topic for this.

 

EDIT: Conversation clubs would make a better home for this, wouldn't it. ;P

That is the topic's title and the main post description, follow it, or no point in keeping this topic open. If you want to speak of unrelated stuffs, use the appropriate place — there is one for everything. but maybe not on this Forum though :)

What would be an "appropriate" place to discuss off-topic stuff? :huh:

Since some of you are complaining that Moderators hid their posts without valid reasons, I want to say this clear: we do not hide things without valid and proper reasons.

 

If you think that randomly spamming a topic with nonsense only because it is in "Off-Topic" is fine you really are far from the point — the "Off-Topic" section is not your own playground where you can do whatever you want, Game Rules still apply here and derailing / spamming with nonsense a topic or commiting any other violation is punishable here as well as in any other section of this Forum.

 

Do you want to complain or know why your post was removed? You are all aware of what to do: contact the Forum Administrator .

 

 

Further discussions of this matter / complaints will be removed and, if the "known issues-makers" keep on violating the Rules, this topic will be closed and they will be taken care accordindly to their violations.

Ok guys . Everyone follow the topic so that you won't have trouble finding it . I'm going to get one of the NICE mods to move it to conversation clubs where we can hopefully have a little more freedom to discuss what we want to (I.e not just talking about homeschooling)

I take a small break from the forum, and when I return the club has imploded?  :mellow: Tbh, I'm not really surprised, but whatevs.

Issho, once again you've been great  :). Thanks a lot! I read all my Email notifications of this club and was absolutely stunned at the spamminess of it.

The homeschooler club began going downhill ever since Agent began posting here, and then when Werty joined, it was just like a very bad icing on a horrible cake, if you get what I'm saying. The spamming duo (Agent and Werty) of some of the most infamous topics of the forum (most notably the SL topic) had both come to this club, and at that point I said to myself "RIP." Seems like my gnattish psychic abilities were correct :P. I don't mean to be a mean ol' grouchy gnat when I say this, but no topic in which both Agent and Werty have posted regularly in have kept up any sort of interesting discussion. Perhaps we should somehow limit the spam of Werty by instigating a few flood rules or somethin', and maybe a rule about actually saying something relevant when you post here (for members only of course). Let's talk about that a little maybe.

My best would be Science, but my favorite would probably be history  :). I enjoy it so much that I visited the "Railroad of Death" today for my birthday with my dad. Heartbreaking bit of history right there. Anyone else like that time period (WWII)?

 

And it's my birthday today.  :)

Sooo I am taking this wellness course with BYU and I have like till june to finish it which means less tank and more school which I am not to sad about except that I might miss the june sale...oh well. Its a super interesting course tho, like did you know that stretching can help increase you mind body harmony and make you more aware and in tune with yourself? Cool huh

Its true. I used to hate learning about the wars and stuff during school so one day I skipped the class on the civil war, and within a week I had declared war on parliament because they wouldn't allow me to enslave my little brother (aka make him do my chores). 

But then I learned about it and it was actually cool. Until the Captain America Civil War movie came out and I was like how the heck did he go back in time from our day, to the 1860s. Like first it was WWII, then our day, then 1861?? :huh: Confusing this is :mellow:  ;)

I agree with a bit of that.

Firstly I will repeat what I said earlier. This is a club for homeschoolers to meet each other, not a club to talk about home schooling, so we shouldn't have to say something about homeschooling in every post.  Also I think now that agent has left it's not so bad with spam...

And if he comesback we can report hom for not flooding our topic, because he is a troll and he's not homeschooled so he shouldn't even be posting here in the first place. werty I don't think shouldbe posting quite as much as he is... But he's nowhere near as bad as agent was.

Secondly, what do you mean by science? Science is an incredible vague word thatcan be applied to a vast range of subjects so that doesn't count as a subject by itself...
