Dunno what that is but sounds quite good!(except for the Elemental Cheese part)

I know, it's Emental Cheese but I'm a revolutionary. B)

And now, I'll tell you my favorite games.

Almost any games by the Parker Bros, this includes Monopoly, Risk, Lord of the Rings Risk, Clue, Risk 2210, oh, and did I mention Risk?

I of course <3 any games made by Klaus Tueber, or Teuber, or whatever his name is. Settlers is my favorite by him though.

In the group of kids here, we sorta go in fads, and the most popular one yet has been the A&A fad. Axis and Allies is about the most fun game ever, no joke. There are two main versions.

1. The board game, which is an extremely complicated WW2 based game that let's you become either the Axis (Germany, Japan, or Italy), or the Allies (America, England, or Russia). The games can last up to 8 hours, if you play a six player game with world domination. If it wasn't so expensive, I'd definitely have it.

2. A&A minis. *sigh* Oh how I remember the day that I was first sucked into playing this.... This is my favorite game in the entire world, ok. We were lucky enough to buy our sets before they stopped making them (aka when they were still cheap)

My card game list isn't quite as long. It only includes Apples to Apples, Hearts, Rook, Pig, and Uno (yeah, I said Uno  :P).

I have the A&A board game. Its really fun and complicated, and in the summer, my friends and I would play literally all night on just 1 game.

In your card games I think you forgot Phase 10, which is better than Uno.

Wait, you've played it? And do you own it?

(evilgrin) Shhh, we'l let Ford believe that I've stopped posting for now, while I continue to plot my mischievous endeavors :P.

I like tarantulas. Preferably fried over an open oven  :P.

Rekt.  B)

Oh, btw, I played two games of Pandemic today. The outcome of the first one, well... let's just say that the world was no longer in fear of being overpopulated, but the second game fared better for us. We had 4 epidemics and three breakouts by the end, and had eradicated one disease thanks to our medic. Using the Dispatcher, we were able to rush the Scientist, who had the cure, to the nearest research station to nick the win  :D. It feels great saving the world.

Gabe(you know the weirdo who lives down south) has it and I've played it. *Evilgrin* Hee Hee, make sure he doesn't hear that. ;)  Naw, Tarantulas are too hairy, I like May Flies better, eat 'em by the net full.

emental is a swiss cheese...

similar to Gruyére.

They're the two cheeses you normally put in fondue.

I know, right! We had this one game where there were just two yellow cubes left, and if two yellow cards flipped over that phase we would lose. They didn't, so I cured the last disease. 8-) Edited by DragonOfStorms

I don't like this... I find that I am more mature and experienced than school children; children who go to school are put in the cage with other children told how they should act and what they need to do... this removes the originality from the child and their personality becomes... normal.

When the child I given freedom, respect and flexibility he not only can be more exposed to amazing experiences and "the jungle" as you say, but they learn to fend for themselves. they understand how things work and the have a personality.

Most people in public schools follow the crowd and imitate those who they feel like are "cooler" than them anyhow. Almost nobody is REAL in there; save for the self-sufficient individuals.

I just got off of an electrical job at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. Literally. Tired; need a shower; need to have my braids redone; and I'm gonna chill for the rest of the weekend. Am I still leaving the group? I don't know. Perhaps. Depends on what I end up feeling like.

Also, should I get a Forum Mod on standby just in case someone who's not homeschooled comes up an starts harassing everyone?

That's highly stereotypical. I find it pretty ironic how you respond to a stereotype with another stereotype and yet threaten to call the mods to prevent homeschoolers from getting insulted. What the other guy said was wrong, but neither is what you said right.

LOL I'm being stereotypical? Really? You obviously have no clue who I am; let alone what you're talking about. I kindly suggest you don't speak on matters without any knowledge. :) What yk88 stated was CLEARLY correct, all I did was reinforce his point because it's the truth to those who aren't walking around in darkness. Who are you to tell me I'm being stereotypical when I GREW UP with this stuff?

There's no "stereotype" when it comes to public school corrupting and intoxicating the mass majority of children who attend them. I see it everyday and address it every WEEK with the youngsters that I know who are putting their parents through HELL because of the friends they have; the clubs they're in; the situations they get caught up in; whatever it is they have going on in a public school. A lot of the shady stuff that goes on in the world itself is MOSTLY about immorality. Like it or not; say what you want. The point is still there.

And I only suggested having a Mod keep tabs on this thread if more drastic action is needed to keep clowns who THINK they know what a homeschool lives like out of the discussion. You want a topic that's stereotypical? Here: Homeschooler/Public Schooler. There ya go. Indulge yourself.

If you want to discuss this further, please just PM me. I'm not going to argue with you in here. Not the place for it.

It has nothing to do with billions of years, they just create LOADS of gravity, due to the bends in space they are making :) so they will pull together, although no-one knows how long it will take

Well Wiki-pedia says 4 billion. And loads of stuff could happen in 4 billion years.

you might just be right, however if you could just consider the idea then maybe you might see it from his point of view :)

Personally I hardly think its too farfetched

Emental Cheese, how to explain, well the only explanation is the title I give it, shoe Cheese. Don't think there was kids night.
