this could be optional

These ranks would be available for Max rank players so they would have purpose to play. For example players will need to collect certain amount of XP to be able master rank 1 and so on. For unlocking each of these ranks players would get some kind a rewards such as crystals, supplies or even free hulls and turrets modifications. This is only a suggestion but i think it would be more fun because players would still have objectives to reach

I am okay with more ranks, but free hulls or turrets... Neh.

At the moment there are achievements that players can strive for - 2 800 000 and 5 000 000 exp. Those replace the need for extra ranks. More actual ranks won't be added because there are no military ranks after Generalissimo and adding something like Generalissimo1, Generalissimo 2 or Master Rank I, Master Rank II is kind of wrong...
