Micro-Upgrade Question

So I had a M0 railgun, I upgraded all of its parameters (micro-upgrdes) 50/50, however tanki mentioned that If the parameters are fuly upgraded i would have access to a free M1 or M2? turret? It hasn't wokred yet?

If you have a fully micro upgraded M0 Railgun, this would give you free access to M1 Railgun. However, since you have reached the rank in which Railgun M2 unlocked, you can only purchase M2 Railgun and are not capable of obtaining a free M1 Railgun. 

I hope that this is fixed in the future, but I am not sure if there is anything you can do.

Indeed. A fully micro-upgraded Railgun m0 only gives you a free Railgun m1 if Railgun m2 hasn't unlocked yet at your rank. A fully micro-upgraded Railgun m0 does not give you a free Railgun m2.

That's bcuz you've unlocked m2 so muing m0 will give u rail m1 not m2

Answered, even if what is said above is not an issue at all - it's how the system is supposed to work :)

 

After one of the most recent updates, you can directly buy an higher modification of an item if your rank is high enough to do so. This applies to MUs aswell - if you fully micro-upgrade your Railgun M0, you will get your Railgun M1 for free, but if your rank is high enough to get Railgun M3, you won't be able to buy its M1 and M2 versions, you are forced to buy the M3 version directly and this is why MUing M0 / M1 / M2 modifications when you already are an high-ranked player is useless - you better wait to buy the M3 version directly without wasting crystals and then MU the M3 version ;)

 

In your case, since you already did 50/50 steps (basically, you already micro-upgraded an M0 item even if you could buy its M3 version directly), with this new system you will only have to pay for the M3 version step since M1 step is free due to 50/50 MUs on M0 and M2 step is free since you skip it thanks to this system - you go directly to M3 from M0.

 

 

EXAMPLE (SHAFT): Shaft M0

 

Let's say that I fully micro-upgrade it (50/50 steps). I will now get M1 for free. Since my rank is high enough to buy the M3 version, I will see the option to buy it directly, completely skipping M1 and M2:

 

As you can see, I can buy the M3 version immediatly. The final price is the same as the one needed to buy the M3 modification only, thanks to the new update - it basically skip M2 step and let me buy M3 directly (The price you see under "Buy M3" is the M3 price reduced of 10% due to a sale).

 

In conclusion, as you may have realized (or read above), since my rank is already high enough to buy the M3 version of Shaft, for me it is absolutely useless to MU the M0 version, it is a waste of crystals - I can save them up, buy the M3 version directly and MU it.

In case you are a low-ranked player willing to have more power than other users, micro-upgrading M0 / M1 / M2 versions is a must ;)
