Amazing act of kindness

I live in Belfast Northern Ireland

Today i had to go with my wife to a eye clinic in the city centre

i suffer from glaucoma and had an operation done on my right eye 1 yr ago

This was a  visit just to check everything was going ok

We travelled into the city centre in our car and the traffic was very busy and we got caught up in a large

queue of traffic which came to a standstill

 

Sitting in the car i looked over at a shopping area and their in a doorway was a poor homeless elderly man

lying on the floor wrapped in just a blanket

People were just walking passed him not even noticing him

I said to my wife "look at that poor guy lying their nobody bothering with him"

Then we saw a lady come out of subway sandwich bar with a coffee in one hand and a sub in the other

She knelt down beside the homeless guy tapped him on the shoulder at which he looked up at her

Then she offered him the sub and coffee which he greatfully accepted

 

my wife and i thought this was an amazing act of kindness

It actually just made my day

Its humbling to think that their are a lot of caring people in this world
