Make take on Tanki's current situation

-Warning- Will contain heavy criticism and lots of suggestion, I do not want anything added or removed, I'm just analyzing the current scenario -Warning-

 

Please do not merge this, this isn't discussion, it's personal opinion.

 

 

Okay, alright, I can now say from experience that the recent Micro-upgrade system is bogus. Now instead of spending about two-hundred and fifty crystals to upgrade damage and one-shot Wasps with my Railgun, I have to spend around five-hundred and THEN I can do it.

I will sum it up in one word: Tedious

Now I'm not excited about being able to upgrade that one parameter, I'm praying I'll get something for my money. They could effectively rename them "Macro Tinkers" for the hell of it.

 

The premium accounts are still not that big of an issue for me still, I can understand the "free-to-play" argument "Well other F2P games did it and they became P2W!".

But keep in mind that those games were MADE for profit. (Not that Tanki is any different, but at least it knows it's community. What they DON'T want that is.)

 

The score caps are fine now, but it doesn't help if your team consists of two mults, a terrible Shaft, and a single active defender. (That is called "Open season for the enemy".) I will admit that they make the battles a lot shorter, but only the ones that were short to begin with.

 

Having just been on Facebook and watching the latest "Tomorrow in the V-log" video, and seeing a topic being paints, I know we're in for something absolutely astonishing tomorrow. What fresh hell they've arbitrarily decided to implement remains to be seen, but it can't get any worse than the Macro Tinkers update.

 

 

The verdict: Okay, make a line graph on a piece of paper.

Label the first point "Tanki pre-premium accounts" and draw a sharp drop from there.

Then draw a line going straight out and draw the next point and label it "Tanki post-premium accounts".

 

Now draw a line going down at a thirty degree angle and label it "Macro Tinkers update".

 

Alright, now draw a picture of a sheep with a gunshot wound and two broken legs, with a look of pure agony in it's eyes and you have the current situation.

The sheep of course represents Tanki.

Yea the MU update was a fail. Everyone at the start "OMG I HAVE M4's!!!!" But  then the realization sets in, these are way expensive for miniature improvements. I knew there had to be some catch.

 

There is nothing OP with Premium accounts, I don't know what the big deal is about them.

Premium accounts don't have anything OP about them on  their own, however combine their heavily upgraded equipment and their typical non stop drugging they are OP.
