A Message to All Non-Buyers

Premium Account did absolutely nothing to effect game-balance; and the continuous rant about the Premium Paint being OP. It really isn't. 

 

I do get annoyed, however, when  people  begin to brag about their equipment  and compare it with other non-buyers.

Never once did I say that my equipment was any better than anyone else's, did I?

It's funny how some people think buyers spoil the game for everyone, when in reality non-buyers are pretty much leeching off Tanki. It's not a free game.

Where did you get a job at the age of 15? Unless you work at some random farm I really can't see anybody get a job at that age due to middle/high school taking half of your day and then you also have to count in that you have 0 knowledge and/or experience in pretty much every job and that makes your chances in getting a job down to 0. So tell me, you Hardworking teen, where do work at?

To go along with the other people disproving your point, I'll say this: I've had a job since I was thirteen mowing lawns, and doing other bits of yard work. Doing that requires almost no brain power, in fact I found myself trying to memorize my surroundings so I could have something to do in the hours of mind numbing lawn-mowing. If I tried, I could probably get a job as an English teacher at a semi-elite school (no joke) making a few hundred per month. So just because in whatever place you live teenagers can't get jobs, doesn't mean that in other places you can't get them.

Hello.

I have been bugged lately about how disrespectful the EN community has been to "Buyers." Every battle that I join, I get attacked in the chat, "4strike noob buyer, drugger," etc. First thing, If you don't want to face a drugger, then make a pro battle without drugs on. It's simple as that. Second, What I choose to spend my money on does not to pertain to anyone but myself. If I choose to buy premium, thats what I chose to spend my extra spending cash on this week. And no, I didn't go take Mommies credit card and buy premium. I am a Hardworking, 15 year old teenager, who doesn't have to support himself, who makes his own money, and likes to spend as I please. And no, I don't spend hundreds of dollars a week on tanki. But I do think that it is ok to spend $5-10 every here and there. I guess all I'm trying to say is, lay off the hate, just because You don't spend your money on Tanki, doesn't mean that everyone else makes that same choice. Oh and just so you know, buying is an option, this isn't a buy-to-win game. Everything in this game (with the exception of premium) IS obtainable without spending a single penny on the game. And if it weren't for the loyal buyers, this game wouldn't be a free- to- play game and it wouldn't be as great as it is today. And one more thing, there is always going to be buyers, So you're going to have to get used to it.

I feel bad for them, I don't really carry any prejudice there.

They're the backbone of the game, without them we wouldn't be here now.

I still think the extra XP is a bit much, but if it keeps them happy, I'm fine.

 

The main argument is that "Well other free-to-play games had that from the start and became pay-to-win.", but I personally don't think Tanki will fall under that category.

 

I really think all the hatred towards them is the same reason as the score caps and the current CP update: It came out of nowhere and things changed.

But maybe things will blow over like they did there.

Non-buyers hate buyers, it's a known fact. If you can't deal with it, then deal with it (I'm 100% serious about what I just by the way). It's not that hard to deal with people who hate you. Remember, the key to attacking is to turn away, it always stops the opponent from going any further. I don't see why there must be such a big argument rather than just finishing it, but if there must be a fight, let the other side win, because if you let them win, they feel as though all they have punched in the face was a soft teddy bear.

Nope, When you hide your premium icon the public eye won't be able to see you get the bonus, it will be blank just like normal, but you will see secretly the bonus you get(Equal to the reward) ;)
