Changes in garage and reworked CP

winning team gets a point in 5 seconds now instead of 10 in a 1-CP battle. Yeah, games are much more interesting. And a point worth 2 points for the losing team. You guys always manage to surprise us with a horrible update, wp! Garage is the only useful thing so far... after messing up MUs and ruining its purpose.

Dear TankiOnline. 

I want to inform you, that the new CP mode rules are very bad!

The new updates from the Garage seems to be cool, but in the CP battle is not fair what happened.

In the CP mode, the developers had the right idea. Making the game more dynamic and challenging. However, I think it is safe to say that they went about fixing it the wrong way. It does not seem work well in battles with a single point. I like the garage update. The only disadvantage that I can see right now, is changing equipment in battles. It may just be a matter of getting used to it.

Emm... although I agree that tanki in general is going downhill, would you care to explain as to why this is a bad update?

 

The garage sounds cool, though I won't be checking that out until the next month. Some of you may know why. As for the CP, I don't know how exactly that will work out, but at the moment it sounds as if both the losing and the winning team, if they both have control points captured will have scores going down. Then again, I have not yet tested this out, so I can't say for certain.

 

 
 

I am unsure of what the point of many people here is who hate the CP update. I myself stay sceptical, though I really don't know. What I do know, however is that the fund is kind of unfairly distributed. You could have played a match for hours, then someone comes in and in a few minutes has got more points captured for the opponent team. So in short, they get much fund in a few mins, whilst the hour-long players or whatever get bread crumbs. But that's kind of expected. I'm not at all surprised. It's not like the fund itself is extremely low already.

Let me explain, First I hate the garage now, I like big garage And Now it's just a big mess... 

 

About the Cp, Forever battles. Too long . Now a battle of 100 points will  take 1hout insted 20-30 mins . And it's just Unfair .

Yesterday's I played, last real Poligon cp, and great found and gameplay, and this what I played today is real garabage !

I cant downvote, tanki is soo fair :)

Please remove the like button, that is useless.

 

Hate the new garage, harder to seek equipment as before.

 

Need effort to scan button

Need more extra click

Need more time to load

Combined shop, is like decision from not smart dev

Pro pass is lonely, bring the score multiply back please

 

Add the shortcut in garage main menu like android phone

Less time to load all useless/wont used object.

I believe the worst part of the CP update is the point reduction mechanism. To give the losing team a faster point gain sounds a bit unfair but this will help keeping players in the losing team so that they won't go away. It also increase the dynamics of the match. However, to reduce the points those are already gained by a team is way too much.

 

Some players have already pointed out that if this point reduction thing is extende to TDM, CTF and DM (if it is considered to be good in CP, why it cannot be considered to be good in the others) then it would be a total disaster.

Aw but silly tanker, you can now prove your skill more profoundly because now you actually have a decent enemy! No more beating a practically powerless enemy and prancing around the forum afterwards, boasting about your "skill".

Often a player think they win because they good, but they blind of the fact the good team that cause it, shame shame shame, kaka

 

Still, bad update... hate the garage and CP...

 

Challenging? How challenging the team game that depend on team.

Team that depend on luck.

 

Your skill wont make the game change if you have bad teammates...

 

This update is only for clan/circle of buyer friend.

That's called rebalance, they did it before, they've butchered the game so much since the last one in their effort to make the game profitable that you can no longer tell what's good or bad anymore.

You know countries making changes all the time in the tax and law system affecting companies see declining foreign investment as nobody like the unstable and unpredictable economy.

 

Now we see the same. You plan your development and even willing to pay some Euros on the game to buy a kit or whatever and after an update/rebalance/change you feel you threw your money out of the window. This cannot help keeping the income. 

I really like playing  with the Tanki, and I could afford paying e.g. the PA or sometimes buying some cry. I used to do it. But I stopped as I do not feel myself and my little investment safe in the TO world. I lost my trust in the system.

Also, I play less and less with Gizmos with my high account due to the overwhelming drugging there that I do not enjoy.

I see failures in the PA approach and feel no intention to change the motivation scheme for paying - which would be important to make the game more enjoyable. Now the rather make it a pay to win game.

Opinion on the update:

 

1. CP scoring:

... :huh: ... not really sure. In theory seems good. In practice, well I played Polygon and it was as if time (counter) slowed down... meaning score was more slowly changing.

I guess, the following is valid: slower counting = less funds = less crystals for everybody = making the game more expensive (again!!!) .. :huh:.. So, what do you think boys and girls?

 

2. Garage New order of items:

Supplies, Kits and Special, are ok. ^_^

Paints, hulls and turrets are not. Especially paints! :wacko: 

 

I think it would be better if there were three lines of items, one for each of these categories (turrets, hulls and paints,) starting with most commonly used items - left - and ending with most rarely used items - right.

 

All turrets, hulls and paints that have not been purchased yet will be in another triple line, that will cover the existing one when player presses the button SHOP BASICS on the bottom of the garage, next to the button of SHOP EXTRAS, that will show supplies, kits and special items.

Like this:

So, player goes to garage and sees the three lines of items he possesses, so that he chooses what to use.

 

If he wants to buy a superior modification of an item (hull or turret) he has, he does that from the item's icon, as it is now.

 

If, however, he wants to buy an item he has not, like a new hull or a paint, then he presses the button SHOP BASICS and three lines with all non purchased turrets, hulls and paints appear.

(if he has bought all items of a line, say all turrets, then a script saying "Congratulations! You have bought all turrets!" will cover the corresponding line)

 

If he wants to see his supplies (or buy some), or see what kits are available or see the special items, he presses the button SHOP EXTRAS below.

Then the new three lines "open", showing supplies, kits and specials.

 

Isn't that better looking and more convenient? :)

Incorrect. It is perfect. And now the score cap seems a bit unnecessary, as the battles will rarely hit the cap....
