[Issue 44] Three Ways to be the Exemplary Tanker

I see the problem , about beeing a good temamate. Whoever made the grading system wasn't thinking about selfishness. It arouses us to play more for  ourselfs  due to points u get for every kill and every flag you capture. Sometimes teammates are fighting between themself for taking the flag. Once I had the flag and not a lot of life left and my teammate blocked my way so I was killed and he took the flag. If the points differences between first and last tanker in one team were lesser , I guess there would be more solidarity . Isida healing gives you no points... A lot of times isida has K/D ratio of less than 1. And on the top of it, they get no points for healing.. All this reasons are causing egoism

Another way to be "exemplary" is to give flags the the Isidas with heavy hulls. I didn't realize that this was a thing... But it makes sense. They heal you, you give them a flag occasionally.

I think that's why Isida users deserve the most respect. Especially the "pocket Isidas" and defenders.

Or for example, if you're low on health and no health drug in sight, just help a teammate by blocking an enemy shot for them such as a railgun (yes I know, railgun does damage to players behind you, but at least you'll soak some of the damage for them) or a shaft, or a hammer.

I've sacrificed so many times, I have a terrible K/D rate.  <_<

Oh well, getting a new friend is always pretty nice.  :)

The exemplary tanker knows how to lose and not be a loser; how to win and not get cocky; how to bring others up and not down.

Amen to that.

Wow, this is totally one amazing topic! TO should really re-direct the game to this topic whenever a player shows disrespect in the game. :P

Spoken with an "Arnold Scharzenegger" accent:

Ya, dis all bull****!

How can I be caalm when enemies shooot at you?!  When I come from the GYM, my hands are so tired  that I press all keyboard keys in SLOW MOTION.  Dat not guut !!!  ... and I often explode on battlefield ... and then my mind explodes too !!!

Yes, I get angry, and I keep hitting the keyboard, even after when the battle is finished.  I  H.A.T.E.  these noobs with shafts, rails, isida ... etc, because I can NEVER win a battle 1 vs 10  enemy tanks.  (Annoying!).

I already broke 2 keyboards playing TankiOnline !

Aaargh !!! ... umm !! ... Grrr !! ...

(imagine an ARNOLD SCHARZENEGGER voice impersonation)

omg you sir need to become an artist. you used such exquisite colours in the writing of that response

Nice - you're figuring out the problematic areas of the current score system. Until it can be fixed, tankers, remember your priorities as a teammate and don't be greedy. please.

Yep - to Isidas, an act of kindness like that is one of those small moments that end up lifting your mood.

Also, it very often feels better to give than to receive ^_^
