"trolling" ... as in shooting them from a distance or area they can not locate you?

Loved those 2 maps but haven't seen them in a while. 

 

trolling: continuously killing and flipping enemies with my gun and making sure they have a ratio of 0.04 (for me)

Just wanted to let you all know that I saw a Berlin TDM in my backyard yesterday afternoon, eating out of a bird feeder. It ran away before I could get the camera, but I know it will be back, as they tend to build nests in this area....

Everyone mad about Berlin and forgets how polar Novel and Industrial Zone were in 2011.Those maps are still better than these ever will be.

Anyone here remember playing at Lost Temple or Kolhoz? They were pretty popular when they first came out. Magistral too i think.

Well, it was a really nice map to farm crystal boxes back in the day. :P
I've done that a lot as newb. Later they introduced rank limits to the maps and removed crystal boxes.

And I believe Berlin was one that had a rank limit of General.
I think it definitely contributed to the fact that it's now rarely played, even though they changed it to sergeant major again.

 

It has to do with the biased choice of the community aswell, most of them prefer maps like Silence, Kungur and Serpuhov because they'll make you earn more crystals.

 

I personally love Berlin although I think CTF is the best gamemode there. It's a large open map perfect for Shaft and Railgun. The big wall in the center makes you feel you're really defending a base. I also use Wasp and Smoky for guarilla tactics. Light hulls are common there since it's a big map with big travel distances... food for Shafts lel.

Too bad the gameplay does not have much variety anymore. D:

Sandbox and polygon are the maps that dominate the battle list. Serpuhov, noise and island are also quite popular. Rio is not that popular compared to these but you can find atleast 2-3 rios in every server at usual.

I love its layout. :D

 

At my rank servers are usually dominated by Polygon, Rio (<3), Noise, Hill, Island and sometimes Highland, Serpuhov and Wave.

Stopped seeing Highways a while back. People don't really even play Noise that much. It's just Polygon, Sandbox and Island. Even Rio's losing some popularity it seems.
