  • Are we allowed to edit the entry (post) after it has been posted, before the deadline?

Detailed pictures give more chance in winning?

Can I state that if my entry wins and is for posting on the Wiki, some pictures should be replaced?

1. Yes, you may edit your post before the deadline but leave either a footnote or disclaimer in the beginning stating that it is unfinished and we will re-judge it once the deadline is reached. It is recommended not to but it can be done. If there is no disclaimer/footnote the entry will be judged as it is.

2. Detailed pictures can boost your chances. It all comes down to quality and relevance, though.

3. If the images meet the wiki standard, we may use them. If not, we will recreate our own ones. If you don't want your images to be used then just leave a friendly note at the bottom.

How to make a tanki GIF?

You can use a video if you want.

However, if you are wanting to make a gif then either record it using an application that will encode it as a GIF (like ShareX) or record a video and convert it using online convert or an application like Photoshop. Google some guides and go from there :)

How to make a tanki GIF?

As Shad said, you need to first record your video then upload it to a video editor, where you shorten the GIF down. Then upload it to a hosting site such as Giphy or Imgur if your GIF is going to be created from a URL. I personally recommend Giphy. Good luck. :)

The guide is written by you, so your opinion is what matters. However, it should be a neutral guide so try to avoid using phrases like "In my opinion"

As far as I think, recommendations are better than opinions. Also, the recommendations should be made on a neutral way and they should not depend on 'your' choice. GL :)

DAMN THE COMPETITION IS HARD THIS TIME !! The guides for highland and courage were by far the better ones out there. I myself made a guide on higland and im pretty sure it is good enough. Hope I win.... And also, kudos to the mods for organizing such an exciting and great competition. It helped show the talents of many people and showed us how talented this community exactly is. Thanks for doing this guys, really appreciate it :)

How to play Cross Effectively

About Cross

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview - The map Cross has been in the game for over 8 years. It first appeared December 18, 2009, by the one and only eras.  It's very popular in beginner ranks, but not much as you keep ranking.Cross has Summer, Winter, and Space mode. Most tankers use only medium or heavy hull to play. Cross is kind of a small to medium sized map, with many ways to attack. Unlike big maps, it's not that hard to capture flags, points, or just to get kills.

Battle Modes -  CTF, CP, TDM, DM                          7_NIQpiw_QTCes255f70xx8_A.png                                                                                                           GHta_D2_CJQ46m_MOkz5_PQH_Q.png

 Tactics

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------                                          CTF-

CTF gameplay is mainly used more than the others. With a good amount of using supplies

and hard teamwork, it shouldn't be hard to win. Both bases are kind of the same, the map doesn't give any

team an advantage.Basically, the team is what matter. That's why the gameplay can be boring at times, a battle

isn't intense when you easily beat the other team with supplies.

Defence-

To have a good defensive team you'll need the following

- Medium hull with isida

- 2-3 long range weapons ( Thunder, Smokey, Vulcan, Striker, and Magnum )

There are many ways to defend in Cross, but here are the major!

Camping behind the edges with Magnum is the best way to avoid attackers and

kill the enemy team without them knowing. A  Thunder, Striker, Vulcan would

come in handy trying to kill the attackers. Most importantly, the isida gives us

all a heart breaking moment when it comes to getting healed.

Attack-

For pro attacking you'll need the following

- A light hull flag runner

-2-3 mid/long range weapons

- An isida

Attacking can be very easy in Cross, mainly due to the reason that each team's

flag isn't really far from the enemy's base. When attacking it's important to go with

your team, instead of going alone savage style. The mid/long ranges weapons come out with

the attackers and destroy enemy team. While that's happening, the flag runner quickly runs

and steals the enemy flag. He/she will quickly try to escape, but if any thing happens and

the flag runner dies, one of the mid/long range weapons should take the flag. Then it's a

1-0 win for the team! By the time a capture is made, Overdrive should be filled up.

Only activate Overdrive when you're near your team mates, it makes it easier for them and you

to get kills and capture the flag! Here is the plan.

Spoiler

CP-

CP battles in Cross are extremely lit due to the fact that there are only 3

points. It gets hard capping each point, but then easy when all points are controlled

and all you have to do is go for the kills. As long as your team controls 2 out of the 3 points

a win is most likely issued.

 How to play-

Camping isn't that important in CP but can reduce the enemy attacks on points.

A good hull to play with is a medium or heavy hull. Wasp or Hornet won't do any good

at trying to cap and can be a disadvantage to your team. The best weapons are-

- Ricochet

-Thunder

-Vulcan

-Twins

:excl: But it mainly depends on what you are used to and how you use it.

A good strategy is capping, going on the ramps, and start killing every

enemy trying to cap. Doing this may even make the enemies go after you rather than

the points.

TDM-

There isn't really much Cross TDMs in mid ranker's - high ranker's rank.

Tankers can easily win using supplies, it can easily get boring losing or

winning.

How To Play-

Camping is extremely important in Cross TDM.1 major camper can change everything.

Supplies are wanted for a better win, but not needed. For your team to stand longest and

kill more, Isida is needed. Long-mid range turret and heavy-medium hulls are recommended.

Overdrive really helps, so make sure to use around your team mates. Mining ramps doesn't help

much, since the enemies will most likely kill try to end you.

DM-

In DM it's just one for him/herself. Any turret is perfect in this mode, as long as it's not

shaft. I would prefer a mid ranged weapon, but it's fine if not. Camping could help, but some supplies

need to be wasted in order to be first. Always control the how the supply drop zones work,

in order to get a boost. If an enemy is after you, first place a mine and keep shooting, second

, the enemy should be done so use a repair when no one is shooting. Always find some cover

when low on health. Go where there are lots of enemies when supplies are active. For campers,

mine down your cover, so enemies can't attack you. Never use repair when being attacker unless there

is atleast 3 seconds to spare.

This year, hopefully

Probably in the next week or two

That is so sweet of you. You need just a year to decide a winner from "60+ ENTRIES" with a pro team. Hats off brother.
