What languages do you speak?

Scientists may speak English but almost all the terms are Latin. You notis that every animal has a Latin name? Latin is language of Sci.

ik that English has Latin terms but it's not 100% a Latin language like French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian,... it's only about 85%

OK but pic this... there is a country that has tooken over the world and has made a influence over every thing. The Romans took what they liked and destroyed what they dident so they had a lot of influence over languages. I won't even go into how much they influenced our government (if your in the US ;) ) I'm just trying to show people that Latin has doesn't have no effect in there lives and that it can be helpful to learn Latin to improve your vocabulary. I'm also not trying to tell people that Latin is the base root of everything, far from it. The Latin language is based off of a lot of Greek. :) I've never lied in my life so please take that back, agent. -_- I can see that you would see it as a dead langeage as it is not spoken by a country. My thought on it is that it is living on through other languages but also people learn and speak Latin. If a language is used it makes no sense to call it dead. Now if it is a language that is not spoken, read or said I can see how you would call it dead but Latin is spoken, read and said. Why don't you set up a poll on the subject? It would be interesting to see the results.
