Vulcan :-
Vulcan is one of the latest turret in Tanki Online. It has a rapid fire mechanism resembling that of a Gatling gun, the Vulcan has unlimited ammo and can fire non stop, but it damages yourself if you fire for too long. It also has a gyroscope feature which makes it harder for enemies to knock your aim off-target. Its high impact force can knock off opponents aim, and can be used as an advantage in parkour battles. Sometimes Titan can come in handy while using a Vulcan in a rough war. Vulcan charges for a second when rotating its barrels before it begins shooting.

Garage Description :
A turret with an immense firing rate. It is best suited for combat at mid and long ranges. Vulcan has a unique gyroscope feature, which makes knocking off its aim very challenging, even when it's under heavy enemy fire. Caution — When using Vulcan, firing continuously for an extended time may overheat and damage your tank! Ideal for use with heavy hulls.

When and how to use Vulcan:

  • Vulcan is great to use on medium and large maps.
  • It is also good in deathmatches and due to its high rate of fire and exceptional DPS, picking off kills is relatively easy.
  • While using Vulcan, It’s better to stay hidden when you start shooting as it will take a few seconds before the barrels start spinning.
  • Vulcan is best used for defense and mid field control.
  • It’s highly recommended to use a strong Firebird protection paint like Zeus so the amount of self damage you take is reduced.
  • Best used on heavy hulls, since they can provide you the durability you require when taking self damage.
  • Freeze of both teams can slowdown the rate of self damage caused by the heat.

When not to Vulcan:

  • Do not use Vulcan on light hulls. You will die from self damage before you even kill a medium hull!
  • Do not use Vulcan on small and tight maps or maps with lots of cover. It’s much better to use it on maps with large open spaces.
  • Do not let others circle you. Remember that you have a very slow turret rotation speed while firing

Vulcan vs other turrets

Smoky, Thunder & Ricochet:

These weapons are other mid range turrets. You can kill all of them 1 on 1 if you have a heavy hull. Smoky and thunder might take cover and shoot whereas ricochet may use its ability to bounce projectiles off of walls, giving them the edge, in all other cases of head-to-head match up, you should be dominating all medium range turrets.

Firebird, Freeze, Isida, Hammer & Twins

Never let them get near you. You won’t beat them at close range purely because of their superior Damage Per Second. The Vulcan's rotation speed won't be enough to get them if they start rotating around you. Try to move away from them while shooting them.

Shaft

If you spot a shaft at mid range just fire at him, Your high impact force will mess up his aim, making it near impossible for him to shoot at you.

Railgun

Most Railgun users use peek-a-boo tactics. Avoid fighting them if they take cover. However, if you’re in a map with open spaces and if the Railgun user is without cover, simply go all-out on them. Shooting them straight would knock off their aim, thus leading them to miss the shot.

Vulcan

In a head-to-head match up, this mostly depends on the hull and which person started shooting first. Try to start shooting beforehand, and try not to get rekt burn down too quickly.
