they should show the tank's health bar in numbers, for example hornet's hp is 166.3 if it were to shown in battle it

ll be 166.3/166.3 etc, and another useful HUD would be the amount of damage taken, cause damages taken are unpredictable since railgun m3 sometimes 1 hits a hornet m3 instead of 2 hits.

 

if this idea is bad for the tanki community doubt me :)

Occasionally it would help if You're up against a ricochet or something with consistent dammage,  but won't matter too much. Using numbers to predict how long you can survive fails to take into account all the other factors like crits, other enemies/allies, and dammage rolls. It's not like it will help in a mammoth-twins drug war. However it would be easy as 01101000 01100101 01101100 01101100 to implement, so I could see it being in the game if there was an option to remove it.

I feel like it would add unnecessary clutter the HUD. The current health bar gives enough info as it is, because how much health you actually have doesn't really matter. It's more like how much you have left in comparison to original health you have that matters, and the health bar does that already.

im only putting this idea just to maybe notice the HUD a bit more than just looking at your health bar and notice you lost some or a lot of health.

 

This feature can also be helpful if you're doing some "tanki science".

well as i said its for "science", railguns damage is unpredictable most of the times, you get unexpected 1 hits.

 

i would want this in tanki but dont recommend it.

Well, there should be an option for disabling Hud Mode.This feature is present in few games I've tried and it's useful.

If I were in battle and I started out with 166.3 hp, I took a hit and now I have 58. 7. I don't want to stop and take out my calculator to figure out what % of health I have left. I want to look at the bar and see I have  a little over 1/4 of a bar. However, I would go with having the bar replaced with numeric % of health left.
