Because you are the weakest target,a pack of wolf is always going to kill the buffalo with a wounded leg or old, because they weak

It's just not in XP/BP, it's in every match. As previously stated above, you get the same amount of points for killing a Wasp and Mammoth. Personally, I think the points you get per kill should be based on the amount of HP taken out or the type of hull destroyed.

Light hulls: 10 points.

Medium: 15 points.

Heavy: 20 points.

Or something amongst that base line.

@Jwimmer, you never even play with Hornet, so it's not like you can really compare the two hulls. In Polygon and Desert XP/BP battles it's not just the wasps - everyone dies within seconds after respawning.

Perhaps people think that Wasps have less armour and will be easier to kill so they target them, but I'm pretty sure it's mostly just your imagination.

I had the same idea, but the difference in modification should also be important. Mammoth m0 is about the same hp as hornet m3...

Someone needs to nip over to the I&S area, and post that idea there :P

Wasp's are easier to flip and have a chance of being 1 hit.

In Poly CP there are shots flying around everywhere, you are lucky to survive more than 5 seconds regardless of what hull you use.

All tanks have the same chance of surviving regardless of wether they are heavy or med, further more this would just make people target the fat tanks rather than the skinny ones.

Blocking me from the thread thats not cool.

Mammy are rare and big targets, u can kill them easily with a ranged weapon. Firebird m2 destroys m2 mammy with on full burst + burn time so they are not that hard to deal with.

The real question is, why do you use BP in Poly CP Battles. Poly CP needs Turrets with quick reloads, Railgun is horrible unless you're in winning team and camp in the little ramp thing. In the centre, is mostly Firebirds, Freezes, Isidas and maybe some Twins/Ricos, which will all deal lots of damage to you. I suggest that you use a heavier Hull like Dictator and a Turret Like Rico/Twins/Fire/Freeze. Hope this helps! :)

Learn to read before you be a smart alec. The topic said xp/bp battles. Learn to read then answer. Your answer did not help at all. Im not sure how dumb you think I am by saying that I should be using heavier hulls and short ranged weapons, but im definitely past that intelligence level

You savage!!!  :o

Wasps are generally easier to flip, although a harder target, being fast. However, if they take the same amount of shots to kill as a hornet in XP/BP, there really is no point in aiming for them. Noobs?

I'm not sure about the answer, but according to me, it's all about psychology of the players. Even though all hulls are nearly same (armour wise), the psych of players to target lighter hulls first takes over. That explains why some players refuse to attack an obviously damaged mammoth and go after a newly spawned Hornet. In XP/BP format, Hull armour is same but psych remains.

Are you serious? Wasp requires skill to use and if someone has the skill they'll be a huge pain so its best to target them, but even if they don't have the skill they make easier targets for the enemy. You're either pro at wasp or really bad - there's no in between.
