Question:  Does anyone believe this actually works????

 

Am I/we really to believe that there is a live person, sitting and watching every game... finger hovering over a mystical keyboard key that will drop your life's dream, if only you chant and pray enough?

 

I'm in a team battle, thinking, "We could be exchanging ideas about strategy, helping each other..."  And all I see is the litany above, like drunk Druids swaying under the silver moon of the Winter Solstice.

Lol, gold box drop on a set scale there is 1 in 7000 change of a gold box falling with ever increase in the battle fund. there is no one there to push the gold box key :P

I was playing on my noob acc the day before yesterday , it annoyed me that all those noobs were chanting it.

This has already been discussed in a newspaper article by @sonofchrysalis3, so you can reply in there if you want.

The main reasons as to why people think that gold boxes are dropped by people are:

• Their rarity, so they think that gold boxes are so rare because there is only a few people going around dropping them.
• Lies from other players, i.e. when someone says "I will drop a gold soon" and the gold box happens to drop afterwards. Some players think it wasn't a coincidence
• The Godmode_ON story, where he actually does drop 3 golds when players manage to kill him.
• Myths and rumours. The false idea that all helpers and admins drop gold just spreads across the community and some believe it.
