New Year Celebration goodies are waiting for you in-game

If you still haven’t started getting revved up for the New Year, we’re about to give you a bunch of reasons to do so.

 

Let’s cut to the chase.

 

You’re about to get hammered by two and a half weeks of celebrations in Tanki Online, starting December 25th.

 

Starting on December 25th at 02:00 UTC, all through to January 11th at 02:00 UTC:

• A unique New Year map featuring an all-new, exclusive battle mode called “Assault”, where one team defends a base with a control point, while the other team attacks the base in an attempt to deliver their flag to the control point within
• Gold boxes worth 2016 crystals on all maps, plus themed gold box notification sound and drop zones created especially for the occasion
• A set of unique daily missions with increased difficulty but bigger rewards:
  • Earn experience points on the New Year map
  • Destroy enemies while wearing the Holiday paint
  • Earn experience points in the Assault battle mode
  • Catch New Year gold boxes
• The ability to send other tankers New Year gifts. There will be 4 gifts available, costing 250, 1000, 5000 and 10 000 crystals respectively. Once you purchase a gift, you will be able to send it by specifying the recipient's nickname, and adding your own custom message to the gift
• Themed looks for the TO homepage, garage, flags, parachutes and billboards, plus unique designs for 2 paints: Holiday and Premium

On top of that, we’re introducing a new XT combination — Vulcan and Mammoth! Premium tankers will be able to purchase these unique items starting from 02:00 UTC on December 25th, while Generalissimos will be able to acquire them by completing unique daily missions. More importantly, these new XT items will be here to stay! You will be able to acquire them even after the celebrations have ended.

 

But there’s more! THE GAME, our traditional New Year quest, returns on January 3rd with a series of riddles to solve, keywords to discover, and supplies to be won. The most clever (and fastest) tanker will get 1000 of each supply, a Tanki T-Shirt, and a dream tank available at his rank. Of course, everyone else who completes the challenge will also receive supply prizes.

 

And, while all of the above is cool, we just had to top it off with a full menu of discounts!

the only reason why most of us are still playing the game.. is cause we have money invested in this game so far the ones who do spend are putting in less and less due to your failing your customer's and if you continue to do so well i have said it before this game will be gone for good and will we join in the new version of tanki more then not...why should we continue to put money into a game that the company has little respect to there buyers ...

First of all, people who are complaining about the sale should be calm down right now! If you compare previous Christmas sale to this year's sale . . . way better! The earlier two significant updates changed the way of the game - test drives and personal discount and growing your arsenal is now easier! According to these updates you get personal discounts and garage sale. Personal discount comes at any time at random value between 10% to 50%. The garage sales depend on how many M2s and M3s you got in your garage. Example: If you have 2 M3s, you get 10% off. Yet you don't need to buy M1 or M2, you get straight M3 only if your are on M3 rank. There is nothing to be upset. Please be patient and celebrate the new year!
