I think there should be a mode where you can create your own map and then share it with your friends. To do this you can make an item selection box so that the players can create anything they want. Such as a maze map and even a map that has secret rooms. If you do add this I hope you will add an elevator item.

Maybe but most players will fail at making decent maps so .. anyway its a good idea but you can also download Map Making tool of Alternativa Editor to build your own map.

Download AlternativaEditor (to create maps) and Tanks Testing Tool (as a source for objects and to test your map). You can't play on them with your friends, sadly, but it is quite fun.
